Yeah. Cricket contests have decreased drastically in this forum primarily because most people aren't willing to pay even small amounts to participate and it's not really easy to find sponsors willing to sponsor these prediction pools anymore based on what I observed.

It's a shame for sure since some of the contests that I participated in before were a lot of fun and I even won one of them. Good times!

Exactly, I have won a couple of times as well, and I personally wouldn't mind paying a small fee for participating in such contests because I love such contests since I love cricket, but as you mentioned, there are no contests to be found in the forum anymore like before.

It is a bit more complicated than that. India recently banned fantasy sports games and doubled down on online gambling. And this eliminated almost all of the India based sponsors. And among the gambling sites that are based outside India, only a few such as Stake (based in Australia) has any interest in cricket. So finding sponsors has become an uphill task. And I also need to say that the vast majority of the Indian users are now too afraid to register with any gambling sites as well. I am hearing this first hand from some of my friends at the office. The Indian government has become a lot more regressive ever since the ruling party won re-election in 2024. Markets have crashed due to poor financial policies and the government has resorted to harassing the ordinary people rather than making amends to the way they work. 

Even though I know that India is a big cricketing country with a lot of craze for the sport, cricket is basically a sport that is loved across the world, and there are so many fans and people who are into cricket from all around the world. Punjab Kings team performed quite seriously in this match, because Gujarat Titans team gave a target of 162 runs to Punjab Kings team. But Punjab Kings team took this match quite seriously and as a batsman Cooper Connolly he was unbeaten by scoring 72 runs in 44 balls.

LSG vs DC, 5 th game of IPL series was ended today and this game was played at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium. In start of game, DC team won toss and they got chance to take first bat or bowl and they elected field first and gave batting lineup to LSG team. LSG team set 141 runs target in 20 overs by losing all wickets. Mitchell effort in opening of line was good and he made 35 runs in 28 balls and hitted two 4s and three 6s. But his runs and Abdul's effort was useless and LSG team performed very worst in bowling and lost this 1 st ipl game by 6 wickets and 17 balls. Lungi bowler bowled very well and he took down 3 wickets in 3.4 overs and gave 27 runs. Sameer got player of game award because his batting effort was helpful and he made 70 runs in 47 balls and hitted five 4s and four 6s. Congratulations DC team won 5 th game and won this game easily.

No batsman from Lucknow Super could bat for long in this match and the controlled bowling of Delhi Capitals bowlers managed to bowl out Lucknow Super for just 141 runs. On the other hand, Delhi Capitals, batting for a target of 142 runs, lost KL Rahul's wicket early and four top-order batsmen were out for 26 runs but then Sameer Rizvi batted brilliantly and took the team to victory in the end and won by 6 wickets.

If you remember, he made his international debut in all three formats during the Australian tour of India back in January 2021. But he lost his form after that and struggled to even maintain his slot in the playing XI for Tamil Nadu. His form during the recently concluded Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy was not very satisfactory. Even in the Indian Premier League, he played just 2 matches for the Delhi Capitals last season (and went for 49 wicketless runs from just 3 overs). This is a nice comeback from him, battling several odds. He picked up three crucial wickets against Lucknow Super Giants (those of Ayush Badoni, Abdul Samad and Mohammed Shami).

Today I am strongly backing to SRH they have one of the most lethal batting lineups, but sadly their bowling is crap, but they can do good in this game. They have a good start with just 25 runs and 52 runs on board.
Can we go for 300? It's going to be interesting because, for me right now, they are the only ones who can touch this magic figure. Travis Head and Abhishake Sharma are both on attack, attack, and just Sunil Naran is able to stop them, but things are clearly not favourable for KKR, who are having a not-good squad due to a few poor decisions from management.

These guys are bringing IPL to another level with their strike rate, which is currently above 200, and 11 boundaries in just 5 overs mean good entertainment for the fans here at Eden Garden.

Even if you put Kolkata ahead, they probably won't win today. Kolkata captain won the toss and decided to field. But Hyderabad started a disaster today. Hyderabad scored  110 runs in 8 overs. They scored an average of 13.75 runs per over. Travis Head returned to the dressing room after scoring 46 runs in just  21 balls. Abhishek Sharma's total was 47 runs in 19 balls. I guess Hyderabad will give a target of around 240 today. I know it's not impossible to win such a big target , but it is very difficult.

Sunrisers Hyderabad may have been considered a weak team in today's match, but given the conditions of the game, Sunrisers Hyderabad will most likely win today's match. Sunrisers Hyderabad are batting after losing the toss, which means they will most likely give a target of over 220 runs in today's match, which although the target of over 200 runs is not very difficult in this IPL, if they give a target of over 200 runs for Kolkata Knight Riders, it will really be difficult for Kolkata Knight Riders.
