I have gridseed miners running on scripta on my raspberry pi. Now i have been accepted as a provider on leaserigs. Is there a good tutorial on how i can configure everything? I would like that the users can use stratum but that is only supported with the leasrig proxy, so i can not install this on scripta?

Was there anything odd going on with LRP about 6-7 hours ago? While I was at work the stats graph for my rig went haywire like I've never seen before, showing constant restarts for several hours before dying completely. I hadn't changed anything the last few days, and am not sure whether Multipool.us, my ISP, or something else was the cause, or some combination thereof. Seems fine now, after knocking Coinking and Multipool off my rotation of mining pools. (Coinking has been flaky for me as well.)

I believe the issue OF LRP is being addressed and is entering alpha testing. Hopefully sooner rather than later. I would LOVE to get my ants back leasable again! We are entering BETA this weekend! How about that new lease proxy then? Looks like v0.06a is still the newest one. Does it work with Eligius yet? We getting some new developers to look at LRP as LR3 is delayed.

Jump on the chatpage, the helpdesk or ping me on skype/google hangouts/ a ticket. You can use LRP or direct connect with scripta I've setup both for providers.

Nothing on our end. We would get a flood of log messages and provider/customer notices if it was.

Thanks; I'm back on Multipool and running smooth as silk. I had another router-caused outage the other day and am thinking its the weak link. I may just eat the penalty with Verizon to get out of their contract early and find whatever alternative I can to their "service" as it is both expensive and aggravating. Anyone have experience using satellite internet for mining?

That's a terrible idea. Well, I'll be reduced to using the Pony Express to deliver data packets at this rate.

That's a terrible idea. Well, I'll be reduced to using the Pony Express to deliver data packets at this rate. A much faster solution was proposed in 1990. Roughly twice as fast on average. http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc1149.txt

LeaseRig.net - rig down (critical) emails simply mean the customer pool is down?
Every time I get one, the rig is fine and LRP is still connected - customer pool went dead is all...
Is this a bug or should the email say "FYI - Customer's Pools Dead"

I have no other reports of pools causing rig down emails. That email should only show up if the api-connect poller times out on your rig, or if the lrp connection is dropped for a period of time.

I think I reported the same issue with Ticket #822. That was with no working pools. If you use LRP (WHY DO YOU USE LRP) and there are no working pools, the miner should be considered critical down.

Is there a reason the pages for each algorithm no longer lists details on the last 20 rentals? That makes it harder to judge the "going rate" and whether I've mispriced my rig or not.

The last 20 rentals and the weighted average were screwing up pricing and were inaccurate due to the mixture of demo rigs and long term leases. Your pricing should be based on your off lease pool payout + your profit margin. Not on anyone else's prices or profits. Normally charging the last rate on poolpicker.eu gives you a 10-20% profit margin and will get you leased most of the time. I can look up or test your pools Btc per mh per day if you'd like.

I pay attention to Poolpicker and do pretty much what you suggest here. It's just also helpful to see the rental history and factor that in as well (while trying to recognize special cases like you mention). I can live without it I suppose.

Uhm, the cgminer conf thing has been resolved for a long time. You just use -c to save the conf somewhere else and let the miner save the broken conf to the default location. Your confusing "dirty network hacks" with the word "proper" above. The proxy systems used by competitors are slammed repeatedly for the nasty code they use and the tricky methods implemented in order to make their systems work. Besides, we are already doing a private beta of both of our remote stratum proxies. As for fixing LRP, there are new developers working on it. But it's always going to be less desirable than API Connect.
