0-2 so far betting this one.  I had Canada winning and they tied.  And then I bet US over 6 goals scored and they didn't come close.  There was a lot of rust on some of them players out there last night.  Could have easily been 6 or 7 but they missed the mark.  Maybe I should just stay away from betting this tourney lol

I think the tone of these games was set by the opening matches by the host teams which turned out to be low scoring, and ever since this.. all favorites have failed to win games with a goals galore with a few exceptions like Japan that opened their account with 5 goals! But am still hopeful that after the first round of games teams will settle in and play their games without fear.

Yesterday's match at FIFA Women's World Cup, I thought the match would be a draw. Both teams tried hard but could not score a goal before halftime. Denmark and China both played very well. But in this match, I was a supporter of China team. I thought China team might win. But China team's goalkeeper was very weak so they could not win this match. Denmark did not play very well in the first half of the game. Denmark played very well after halftime. A.  Vangsgaard scored the 1st goal in the 89th minute to win the match.  The match was won by 1 goal.

I was very upset when China conceded at the last minute of the match. I also thought the match would end in a draw, but no. After conceding, the Chinese team also almost scored, but Denmark's defense was too solid. It's hard to predict that anything can happen in women's sports.

Today in FIFA Women's World Cup, Sweden vs South Africa, I really like the performance of the players of both teams. I think Sweden played very well in today's match, because of which they won the match so easily. South Africa did well in the first stage of the game, but performed very badly at the end of the game. South Africa was ahead with 1 goal. H. Magaia scored the first goal in 48 minutes. Then A. Ilestedt scored the 2nd goal in the 90th minute to win the match for Sweden.

Sweden looked very safe until the 64th minute and looked likely to win the match but South Africa scored a goal in the 65th minute to level the scores. but South Africa won the match by scoring in the last minute of the game.  So even 1 minute is very important and precious in football game. towards the end of the game, both teams started to play with excitement.  Because both teams needed 1 goal to win the match and South Africa women team score 1 goal the last crucial period. this moment was really cool

Of course, every minute of a football game is very important and it has been seen many times before the match that a goal in the last minute of the game has won the match. You see yesterday's match between Denmark and China where Denmark scored 89" and won the match 1-0. so no one should think that a second is worthless in the game of football. It is true that such games are fun to watch but they are not that exciting because these things are not new and have happened many times before.

Didn't watch the match but had checked Livescorer several times and also match statistics that China performed better earlier than Denmark in the first half and a few minutes in the second half, they had created several chances beforehand while Denmark had not been able to do so, but the final minutes of the match were a golden opportunity for Denmark to maximize.
This defeat was actually quite painful because China had tried to keep the goal well, Denmark's victory made them together with England won 3 points and the opportunities for China and Haiti became difficult in the group, China's next match will face Haiti and they must win to keep the chances even though it's getting tougher now.

Very careless from the South Africans because if you saw how their goal scorer threw herself at the ball to get the first goal for them, you would think that they will not concede so quickly. It was disappointing that they could not get ahead again and could not even hold the game to a draw but relaxed in the ending minutes of the game to give Sweden an opportunity to punish them for it which they did. That is another African country that has failed to get three points from their game.

It's been a eyesore event to watch for me not going to lie, except for very matches that met my expectation, especially with the fact that I needed to stay up late into night 3 AM - 5 AM, then they a quick nap to see the next game at 8 AM, so my sleep depriving expectation have not been met by the least margin, how could asking for a win from the French Women team against Jamaica be too much to ask, it's either these underdogs are getting a better hang of football generally or these favorites are just f*ucking hyperbolic and there was nothing special whatsoever about them to begin with, I hope it's the former in this case though.

Every passing year there'll be improvement with the teams. This is why we weren't able to see teams making big number of goals. Earlier the leagues were dominated by the big ones who thrash the small teams. Nowadays the small teams have improved much and standing strong against the big ones. This is why we weren't able to see much of goals. Even in mens football we were able to see underdogs winning matches that can't be said as just mistake. Those were part of the team's improvement.

We might still see the players score a lot of goals, most of them play rather very rusty as though they've never played football before, Imagine a player like that of USA's Rapinoe looking very off and couldn't hit a couple what could have been some somewhat easy goals. Could the transition period be affecting most of these teams?, because the teams are introducing a lot of younger players and trying to get over the old ones they once were solely depending upon.

We've got to big names to start kickoff today's event, Italy vs Argentina, let's see if they'll live up to the expectations and produce a very entertaining game, I've decided to go against the usual trend of low scoring encounter that we've witnessed so far in this tournament.

I agree that the teams will improve with time and proper funding. The womens
game I suspect has been under funded for years and not given the recognition
it deserves by officials or the public. I have vouch for this because of the lack of
proper treatment the Irish Womens team have endured for years.

TBH we shouldnt blame the players themselves, I recon if they got a fraction of the money
which is circulating around the mens game the womens side would advance by leaps
and bounds.

In total, I have counted so far that out of the 13 matches, only 21 goals have been scored, so the average match is very low and actually football without goals is not that interesting, but in this group phase there are still a lot of matches left and changes are very possible because these teams have started to be able to read the game strategies of their opponents in the group, only indeed only 3 teams so far have managed to score more than two goals in their matches.
Currently the Argentina vs Italy match is underway, of course this will be a big match if it's in the men's section but because this is a woman, of course the strength map will be different. Italy is more favored to win than Argentina and the difference in odds is also quite far @1.55 compared to @6.55, how many goals will be scored in this match? It would be very interesting if both teams could score goals, but the women's section will be a little hard to guess since I rarely follow, but this time I will try to watch the match and assess how interesting their game is.

There have been some very interesting games that has been played in this competition which I have absolutely enjoyed watching. I came in with high hopes to watch some teams play and was utter disappointed by their performance while some others which I had no high expectations of left me stunned by their performance. I agree that the there has been a dearth of goals and electrifying performance both on the pitch and in the stadium. Me think that it may be because of the host nation is not really a football country. I may be wrong but it is just my own opinion. My prediction for the match between Argentina vs Italy that would come up later today is that it is going to end in a draw.

Germany is the best team in Europe, so the victory was not unexpected.
And we can say that this was the first victory in this women's World Cup, where many expected to see many more goals.

I am very happy to find discussion of this tournament here, i picked interest on this ongoing tournament few days ago and already placed some bets on few of the matches that are yet to be played, its my very first time i will be having the time to watch our women play.
And though i believe this can never meet up to the standard of the men, that is, it can not as interesting as it is when men play, but i am still looking forward to a great tournament, even though not as interesting as that of the men, it should be close.

I will be watching the first of the match tomorrow, and one i am looking forward to is New Zealand vs Philippines, my bet is already on the women of New Zealand based on the record of their previous matches .

Popp scored two goals in quick succession in the 11th and 39th minutes to start Germany's rise, then other players scored four more to make it six goals as Morocco failed to score a single goal. this is really too funny.

Guys, don't compare men's soccer and women's soccer
And don't be sad that you don't see so many games with 6, 8 or 10 goals, this is very good for women's soccer, because they are more balanced matches and it means that soccer is developing in more countries
It's not nice when one or two teams win everything 10x0, there's no emotion, no competitiveness, no balance...

Today was Brazil's debut and I just watched it, 4x0 win and with the team playing very well. I managed to get a bet right that the game would have less than 6 goals.
Expectations need to be adjusted now. I think the odds will get more adjusted after the first round as well

The first games in all competitions are always not so interesting. Some of these players have not played together before so they might not be able to understand each other. Camping and friendly games might not be sufficient to blend the players. But as the game progresses, the team will keep improving and become well organized. Maybe you didn't watch the game between Morocco and Germany. The Female German machines welcomed the debutants to the world cup with six goals.

Morocco did very well in this World Cup but the Moroccan women's team is not that strong yet and it was a pity for them to lose the match against Germany 6-0. After watching the game I began to wonder how Morocco qualified for the world cup. Their attaching was blunt and made little or no attempt to score, the midfield lacked coordination, the defense was weak and the goalkeeping was very poor. I think they are no match for the Germans. They scored two own goals because of pressure and ended up conceiving six goals. Their next two games are also against strong teams Colombia and South Korea. Let's see if they can replicate the success of their male team in Qatar.
