Colombia have been playing very well since the start, they have not lost a single match in their last five matches, drawing only two matches and win 3 match. But Germany have lost three of their last five matches. The Colombia women's team has many opportunities to do well and has high potential. The Colombia men's team is not doing well in football, but the women's team is far ahead

Brazil still have enough time to qualify for the next round but the problem is that they are not doing well in their defense which is a big problem. If our defense is not strong in a tournament like the World Cup, then it is never possible to do well in such a big tournament. The Brazilian women's team should work very quickly on the problems that have clearly emerged in the Brazilian defense line against France. Even if they lose the group stage match, they may have a chance to go to the next round but if they make such a mistake in the knockout stage, they will be knocked out of the tournament. The next match though is a relatively easy one for them but they should work on their mistakes enough to do well in this tournament.

Yes but in general their role as a favorite is at the same time relativized by the fact that they have actually never won the title before. That doesn't mean they can't be one of the favorites, but the expectation that they should win it would be wrong. It is a bit similar to the men's team who have great individual players but who can't manage to win the big games in recent times. Marta has been the superstar for a very long time, but that's not enough ton win the womens' World Cup.

I totally missed out the thread though it as been long I visited Gambling Discussion board, and I didn't follow up the match until the Australian vs Nigerian match, which gave me the awareness on the ongoing tournament of the women would cup. And I like the Nigerian women played their match so I was zeal to follow up the matches now.

Damn, this match sucked me I am too confident in Germany to win this fight even I bet in the first half for Germany lol, unfortunately Germany wasted this opportunity and Alexandra Popp couldn't do much. But it looks like Germany is in a safe group they still had a great chance of qualifying because the next opponent is South Korea yeah we know South Korea is not a tough team, Germany should be able to overcome it and get another 3 points. Colombia is confirmed as the winner of Group H they can win big against Morocco in the next match.

Of all the teams, Spain recorded a perfect wins by scoring 8 goals from 2 matches, but the next opponent is the strongest team in Asia Japan who is also unbeaten by scoring 7 goals without conceding of course it is not easy for Spain to get points.

I must admit, Columbia impressed me beyond my expectations..didn't see them putting out a brave fight like they did... And btw why is Germany 🇩🇪  always dangerous in the last dying minutes of the game...thought this game would have ended with that Linda goal which was marvelous btw   but the Germans pulled one back from the spot and Columbia went on to get a winner later on which should be the upset of the day.
Hope Germany can win the last game of the group to give themselves a progression chance, but against South Korea they are most likely to get a result here...And Popp needs to sort out her anger issues to have a better game

It's nice to see that the teams are not "exactly" the same as men's teams, we are at least seeing some different teams, which shows which of them showed difference. However, the fact that USA is this good compared to all other teams makes me confuse.

The fact that they invested so heavily towards girls football, even from the youngest age, just like how they take their sons to basketball or "football" (nfl) at young age, shows that there is a cultural thing. I bet that wasn't the case 20-30 years ago, it is something that started way later than any other European nation, and became a cultural thing. This allows some of the best ones to show their skills and make that into their job, and even make a living out of it, and this huge network of all states doing it together allows the best of the best to come out.

Columbia was actually way better than advertised.  Sometimes I don't think these world rankings are completely accurate.  They gave fits to the Germans the whole game.  That first goal from Columbia was a thing of beauty.  Think she is only 18 years old too.  The level of talent in the women's game has taken a step up.

The result of  game between Japan and Spain is a reminder that ball possession doesn't win a match until you scoring goals making good outcome of your chances converting them to goals is what matters more.
At the end of play who goes home with the three points is the winner of the match and not who's with the all the ball possession dominating the pitch. Congrats to Japan for a superb win.

Before Germany's match against Colombia started, Germany were certainly favorites in that match but the performance on the field proved all our statistics wrong. Within 7 minutes, all the stats were messed up. Colombia beat Germany in extra time. Although Colombia took a long lead early in the second half, Popp scored a goal for Germany at the end of the game to bring the team back to parity. Later, their equality did not last long. One such win at the end changed their team's momentum. Many congratulations to the Colombia Women's team for winning a thrilling match against the France Women's team.

The only thing going for them in this game is their athleticism. They’re relying on counter attack and it’s crazy. That midfield is ghosting, i don't know what Waldrum is doing. They can’t even advance the ball to Ireland half, they need find a way to  move the ball quicker, these Irish maintain their shape at defense sharply. I think Nigeria have to win if not they’re going to play England in the next round and it’s going to be very difficult for them to progress.

I don't think they Falcons can do better than they're doing right now, because a draw would still qualify them to the next stage and I feel they don't care who they meet in the next round all they are focusing on is ending this game against Ireland, but if it's England like you said I don't see the falcons losing to the lioness on that encounter.
The both teams are still trying to get a goal in this game, but I feel this encounter would end in a goalless draw or 1-1 draw.
