The competition is getting tougher and to my greatest suprise teams that started very well in the group stage are not leaving up to my expectations of qualify for the finals at first I thought Japan would make it to the finals but they got kicked out by Sweden, now France that performed very well and I was also hoping that since the Japanese women that seems very tough are out this could be an opportunity for France to get to the finals and probably win the tournament but they've also got kicked out by one of the hosts Australia, I'm so glad England is still in the tournament and they'll be playing with Australia, it's going to be a tough one for both teams and I won't be suprised if the Australian women would kick-off England out of the competition I'm also expecting a win from Spain against Sweden.

If you look at the four representatives of the remaining countries in the women's world cup, then I will choose England vs Spain which will advance to the final. The match between Spain and Sweden, I believe it will be very competitive, I had in my mind that Spain could reach the final, but after some analysis, I think that Sweden will overcome the Spanish team.

I didn't think I will see France kicked out of the World Cup by Australia honestly. After all the journey ended with penalties at least so we can blame them less. Now Australia have to face England next and try to play the same scenario with them maybe? I don't think England will let them go to extra time and penalties.
