Not all match results are the expected results based on the level of favourites, there are 2 matches that did not meet expectations, they're AC Milan and Lazio, they should be able to win easily IMO, but the defense of Newcastle and Atletico Madrid can withstand attacks from their opponents.

Regarding today match, rather than seeing Bayern Munich against Manchester United, I'm more interested in seeing Union Berlin's performance when they play away against Real Madrid. Do you have any predictions about this match?

It is true that all the teams that get full points are the top seeds in their respective groups, the draw between Lazio vs Atletico might be a dramatic one. Barcelona was quite promising with a big win over Antwerp 5-0 without reply, Joao Felix appeared impressive. It seems true, the results will enable the top teams to achieve victory.

Apart from the Man United vs Bayern Munchen match, there is a match between Arsenal vs PSV which I think is quite interesting. I look forward to Arsenal strength in the UCL this season, after they have been quite tough and consistent in the EPL. Whether they will be promising enough in the group phase and succeed in becoming group favorites will be interesting to watch.

Watching the highlight between AC Milan Vs Newcastle and during the match i can see AC Milan were very dominate the match that they were successfully to pushed Newcastle not develop to their game and Milan got several opportunities to scores but unfortunately Milan players were wasted those opportunities and they have to satisfied with this result however i think this result is good start for Newcastle because at least they didn't lose in the first match

This match is a chance for Kane to show his value for Bayern Munich that does not need him to win in Bundesliga but in Champions League.

I think that Bayern are the main contenders for the Champions League this season. Manchester United are not playing consistently, when Bayern have not lost once this season. Manchester United probably don't stand a chance away.

Newcastle realized that playing more openly would make their defense easier for AC Milan to penetrate, but in fact, Newcastle did not apply a defensive strategy because they placed 3 attackers in front, only that it was difficult for them to counterattack because AC Milan played very pressingly and quite dominated the match. Newcastle didn't play impressively, it was more defense oriented, I know considering it a fair play wouldn't be bad considering it's their first game ever since after decades of not playing in the UCL, but then they should have given no chance to the fact that it's a first time after a very long time, it should have been seen as a privilege and utilizing it to it's maximum would have been a better option to explore.

Going by stats it's true they conceded no goal but they had less to almost no shots on target, same as their possession. So how else would you say their performance was not poor enough to be considered as one. Managing to draw was a fair one at least it earned them a point, which can be considered fair for a start but if Newcastle should continue with this style of play I don't see them going far enough

I will say they only did their best but it wasn't good enough to be seen as a good play, although they still have room enough for improvement and make this first time after a very long while worth it. I hope to see Newcastle with a better performance in subsequent games and hope the really do go far in the champion's league and probably make their appearance a good one.

of all the matchday 1 matches, the ones that were the least interesting were Milan vs Newcastle and Lazio vs Atletico Madrid, which I previously mentioned here if I was curious and wanted to see the performance of the teams I mentioned. because at first I doubted Newcastle but looking at the history of last season this team had a good performance in the UCL even though it not reach the highest peak but at least it could draw with Milan.
on the one hand, Lazio, which I think has a slightly bad performance in the domestic league, but I am a little doubtful that if in the domestic league Lazio performs badly, it does not necessarily mean that in the UCL, they will just compete as they are and it turns out my prediction was correct if Lazio was able to survive the match with Atletico Madrid, which was successful got 1 point and it was a great start for these two teams.

next I will wait for the match between Bayern Munich and MU which will compete today which makes me also curious to see MU real performance in the UCL even though they performed poorly in the EPL but in the UCL I am sure Ten Hag will give a surprise but still Bayern Munich will win.

While for Newcastle, it was a heroic point for them, Ac Milan overwhelmed Newcastle it was a disappointing result to me for Milan having had a lot of opportunities to have won the match but could not find a way through Newcastle played like they were underdog and in many ways there were not they were outplayed but not outmatched

The pressure remains on Manchester City as long as they are not ahead of their opponents. Pep Guardiola is a genius coach who in many cases is able to make his team perform better to get out of pressure. He is very experienced in dealing with pressure, so I don't think he was very nervous when he was 1 goal behind.

AC Milan attack on Newcastle United was very active in the first half and continued in the second half. The Magpies' defense line was good, able to win tackles up to 65% and goalkeeper Pope was able to make 8 saves.
Nick Pope performed very well in last night's match and getting the best player in this match was well deserved. The draw will make Eddie Howe evaluate his team in the next matches against PSG and Dortmund.

Well they failed to utilize their chances and it caused them to draw the match Newcastle where definitely the underdogs in the match cause i can't remember the last time they  featured in the tournament but they still managed to hold Milan to a draw which is enough for them to be happy about, not losing their first champions league game after so many years of inexperience.

 If Acmilan had wom the game yesterday it would had put them in a better position on the table but they're currently in the 3rd position in the Group F though they still got same points with Newcastle who are currently in the second position,  so far in their group PSG is the only team that secured three points this week's match day and they're the most likely to quality in the first position because i don't think any other team in their group would be very tough for them to beat

Pioli current strategy is easy to predict, if opposing coaches watch the replies from 5 matches against Inter Milan, they will understand how to break Pioli strategy. When the strategy starts to have difficulty scoring goals, Milan players will start implementing a triangle passing scheme. A draw with Newcastle could mean that AC Milan may not going to knockout phase. However, this season, Milan was lucky to get a UCL spot, because this position should have belonged to Juventus if not been subject to a points deduction.

I was really surprised with the result of the Milan - Newcastle game. Milan was in full control of the game. Newcastle started to play even more defensive after realizing that they can't fight back much. Milan had so many goal opportunities in both half but there was still no goal at the end.

Especially the first half was something else. Milan wasted unbelievable goal opportunities. Newcastle should consider themselves lucky about this one point. The result could have been much worse for them if Milan were a little better at finishing.

A close look at the game shows that Newcastle United will have to improve or they will struggle in this group stage. The draw gave them away one point but I am worried that the English side is lacking good attack and defense. The only player they can boast of currently is their goalkeeper Pope who was the reason they didn't conceive up to five goals.  I will assume that AC Milan was simply unlucky because they did all they could to win the game. With this quality, I am sure that they will qualify for the next round. I have a special love for Stefano Pioli who kept on encouraging his player till the end not minding the attackers' wastefulness. He needs to work on the attackers to assist each other to score goals. Some of them seem to be selfish in assisting others even when a pass would have brought a goal.

It's quite reasonable to play on defense when visiting Bayern and try to win at least a point. Even with Brighton United played most of the time as number two, so today I am sure that Bayern will dominate and United will look for luck on the counterattack. But overall, I don’t believe that United can somehow be saved today, most likely, Bayern will win confidently. Taking into account the fact that 1-0 and 4-0 differ little in terms of points scored, I wish Bayern to win big - I want to listen to TX’s next excuses.

Champions League is completely different world with every action and point is going to count at the end which is important for any team here we have one of the boring start of the AC Milan and Newcastle United with advantage is clearly going into favor of the Newcastle United because they were here after two decades and their coach is also relatively new with no experience but still they have done good job and having one important point for AC Milan this was really embarrassing with too many attacks and scoring shots but at the end they were fail to produce anything positive for themselves specially after one of the worst defeat against Inter Milan things were into their favor for the win, but they fail which is surely going to have problems for them in coming matches.

The counterattack strategy looks pretty clever for this match. Bayern's squad is stronger anyway and I don't think Manchester will have many chances to score goals.

It is still difficult even though Erik Ten Hag tries to formulate his strategy if in reality the squad he has is very difficult to organize to work together. But regardless of how this match will end, I hope Manchester United can provide resistance and reduce fatal mistakes.
