I'm not surprised at all that Arsenal is a favourite against Bayern. Arsenal's stats in the Champions League group stage look better than Bayern's. Although Bayern has earned 16 points, and Arsenal 13, I think the German team had an easier group. In terms of average goals per game scored and lost, the stats suggest Arsenal is better in both offence and defence:
Arsenal: 2.7 scored and 0.7 lost
Bayern: 2.0 scored and 1.0 lost

The same stats for league games are at a similar level, but it's hard to disagree that the Premier League is much stronger than the Bundesliga.

That being said, it's a bit concerning that Arsenal struggled to get past Porto, as they needed a penalty shootout to go through, and I think Bayern is a better team than Porto.

The debate of using experience to disqualify Arsenal's ability to beat Bayern Munich in this level of champions league is just so baffling and inexcusable to me. It's not as though this is the first time arsenal are coming to the champions league or getting to this stage in the champions league so what's the experience that's missing. Better still, they have been playing and winning better teams with sturd defence than that of Bayern all through this champions league season because they have a forcing attack that can break through any defence and Bayern's is of no difference. Do the stats from the group stage really matter in this match? Inter Milan has better stats than Atletico Madrid in the group stage, but Inter lost against Atletico Madrid. It's a surprise to anyone who fully trusts Intermilan to win the game. Bayern played so poorly in the Bundesliga, and it can be considered the worst performance in a decade from Bayern, but it can still potentially win against Arsenal, too. I think the thing that matters a lot is the composition of the squad.

Bayern is a 1 billion team and it's far stronger than porto. The last time Bayern beat Arsenal was 10-2, as the final aggregate happened in 2016/2017. You're probably thinking this just because of the fact they're losing the league to Bayer Leverkusen, currently being 10 points behind. That's true, but it's not about Bayern being weaker than in last season, but it's due to Leverkusen playing exceptionally well.
The average points/game in league games for Bayern is 2.31, in the last season, it was 2.09. If they keep their performance consistent, we should expect them to finish the season with 78 points, while the year ago, they won the league with 71 points.

For me, Bayern Munich this season is bad, indeed the winning average is good but overall it is not good. Many people say Bayern will win against Arsenal like they have done in the past. In my opinion, Arsenal vs. Bayern Munich is an unpredictable match because Arsenal is playing well this season and will make sure that the result of their defeat by Bayern Munich years ago doesn't happen again. if you believe Man City will qualify for the semi finals, maybe you would be better off betting on the second leg, but if you believe Real Madrid, maybe you will definitely bet on the first leg, but if you look at my predictions, it looks like you are a little more confident if Man City will qualify.
but personally, as a Real Madrid fan, I will bet on the first leg even though last season Madrid only got bad results, but this time I believe that Ancelotti already knows the right strategy to break into Man City goal.
