When the match started, I was watching Manchester City match, but after like 15 minutes of the match, I switched to Arsenal match, the first half of the match was really interesting, but all what I notice is that Arsenal defense is kind of weak in the match, Bayern Munich players were finding it kind of easy to break their defense in the match, I just hope Arsenal will look for a way to improve their defense in the match. Currently Bayern Munich are ahead of Arsenal with a goal difference, we can’t still conclude on who will be winning the match yet, we are still having second half to enjoy, and anything can still happen in the match.

Arsenal defense looks weak because of the high line strategy adopted by the team, they fail to understand that this is the champions league not the premier league, and Bayern Munich have fast attackers that are good with counters that is why Arsenal defense looks weak.

Arsenal needs to adjust that strategy and adopt a more balanced defensive line strategy if not they will always be under pressure when their is any counterattack. Arsenal are better and are in control of the game but Bayern looks more dangerous with counters.

This is a different Bayern Munich side that we have always known and now i know why they lost the title challenge to Leverkusen. I don’t think Tuchel is doing a great job at the team because they are underperforming in my opinion, everything just seems different else the match would have been over even before it started.

Given the current form arsenal is right now, I doubt if Bayern Munich can even get a draw at the moment. Outside the fact that Bayern Munich have experience players that are regular in the champions league as added advantage, they still don't possess the tactics based on their current form to withstand arsenal. This first leg is taking place at the emirate stadium, which is why I think arsenal will not hesitate to use home advantage as well, because the champions League mentality has always been that, do whatever you can to win at your home with good number of goals, so can at least get a draw when you go away.

Don't forget that champions league is different from league matches where some club will not be serious at some point, this is champions league where experience most times helps in winning games and Bayern Munich has not been in poor form in the champions League they are underperforming only in the league matches and having a good scoring and winning history against the informed Arsenal will also motivate them to do better to repeat the history. Overall in the first half I concluded that both Madrid and Man City were experiencing the same pressure. We should not always capitalize on the experience when it comes to Real Madrid and the Manchester City. We can only be correct about the experience if Manchester City was unable to win Champions League last season. Manchester City has already gotten a lot of experiencing needed to succeed in the Champions League. Have you forgotten how often Manchester City has been to the Champions League finals and semi-finals. All these were accumulating experiences. While measuring these two elite clubs, we should find other yard sticks and not experience as Manchester City is very much experienced also in the champions League.

In the end, we did not find a single team that won this first leg match. There were a total of 10 goals in the two first leg matches of the quarter-finals where Arsenal vs Bayern Munich ended 2-2, while Real Madrid vs Manchester City ended with a score of 3-3.

I didn't watch the Arsenal vs Bayern Munich match, because in my opinion the Real Madrid vs Manchester City match was more challenging. The match was exciting even though Real Madrid tended to have to play defensively against Manchester City throughout the match. These two matches at the start of the UCL really produced very impressive matches. And they even have very tight competition. The result was the same, all draws. This proves that in this first leg, they really looked good together to meet and compete. In fact, it was so harmonious, it was like a final, especially for Real Madrid and Man City. However, with the 3-3 result between Real Madrid and Man City, it is really quite satisfying
