We watched games with lots of goals this evening. Two games ended in a draw.
It was very good for Arsenal that they were unbeaten, they still have a chance and they should make good use of this chance.

Real Madrid will go to England next week, a difficult game awaits them.
It is very difficult to say for sure in these games because the teams here are really strong.

Two tough, energy sapping games for Arsenal and Man City. Hopefully the intensity starts to mean they drop poijts in the PL, would really help Liverpool out 😇.

Maybe Arsenal aren’t so impregnable after all, Bayern made their defence look a lot more ordinary than most PL teams have done for a while.

Till the next game, Gunner's would still be fuming over that penalty that wasn't awarded lol, they should do better score a good goal. They've just been too loud for the past weeks.

Why would you really pray for the downfall of another? This is good reasons why your Liverpool won't be winning the Premier League Competition. Focus on your thing and pray your hardwork and smart work turns out positive and victorious for your club. Lol!

Arteta started everything with a wrong style, I expected Trossard starting this match but all my expectations went wrong, the little time Gabriel j and Trossard entered the match I felt a huge impact like a live in the match. Saka had all the chance saving the team but just alittle mistake ruined everything, I also expected a penalty but I don't get cause everything looked complicated. Arteta should be smart when it comes to key starters. Even with Trossard goal Bayern have  higher chance defeating Arsenal at Allianz, the only hope here for Arsenal they have good record when it comes to an away match. I really enjoyed today match especially the Manchester city vs Real Madrid match, tough draw from both teams including the Arsenal vs Bayern.

I'm upset with the performance of Arsenal against Bayern Munich at Emirate stadium. This was particularly and specially the winning game for Gunners but they ruined their chances and they have to compete with the Bavarians at Allianz Arena. We know how difficult and challenging it could be for Arsenal to face the fierce upcoming performance because Bayern Munich are not here for jokes, they always mean business whenever it involves UCL matches. Thomas Tuchel will fight with everything within his reach to get settled excellent scores against the English side.

We saw how balanced the matches were tonight. Both matches ended in a draw. The teams really pushed each other hard. Everything started very quickly in the Manchester City - Real Madrid match. We had to get directly into the match. In the first minute, City surprised Real Madrid with Bernardo Silva's goal from a free kick. Not long after, Real Madrid responded, a minute later, City.

I have never seen a match like this. The tension was always high, the answers were very fast.

We watched two excellent matches. In fact, I didn't expect so many goals, I thought the teams would play more controlled, but the individual performances of the players were at the highest level and they scored excellent goals.

The two matches played today was a interesting one, I knew the match was going to be a tough one, but I never expected the two matches to end as a draw, I expected Arsenal to win their match, but unfortunately they couldn’t win, the match ended as draw. And I couldn’t predict who is going to win Manchester City match, i predicted a win by any of the team, but they also played draw in the match. I guess the second leg of the match is going to be more interesting than this first leg, Real Madrid should be really prepared because they will be going to Etihad which is not really going to be a easy one for Real Madrid.

Who would ever though that the four UCL teams that played today would draw in the game. I was waiting to see that Real Madrid won Manchester City and Arsenal won Bayern Munich this was what i was expecting. I want both teams i mentioned to win to compete in the final round.

Also, there was something i noticed in the game between Bayern and Arsenal. I noticed where Raya gave the ball to Gabriel to pass, and he mistakenly held it with his hand to play a goal kick. Th ref said its not a penalty because it's a UCL QF, then i then think that's why he didn't give Arsenal the last penalty in the dying minute so that the score would be even.

Oh my God, i though i was the only one who felt this way. The actions from both team were thrilling and i am so proud of all the teams. Let me start from Arsenal and Bayern Munich i could remember that i predicted the game to be draw but a 1:1 draw. Surprisingly Bayern Munich were taking the lead, then i felt it was over but Arsenal came back. It was an interesting game to watch, so glad that i did not miss any mention. However so many persons were expecting Bayern Munich  to win the game. Yet, let us done forget the last minute of Arsenal plays, if Saka was successful to get the penalty it would have been a win for Arsenal. Quite unlucky for Arsenal.

Bayern Munich undeformed if we're being honest because they're the better team and better than arsenal therefore they should have won this game. I think though that the advantages that arsenal had was because they were playing at home. Arsenal dominated every angle of the game and deserved to win but unfortunately they got robbed. Bayern Munich have to do better than they played when the return leg comes because if they still decide to play the way they played, they'll be getting knocked out of the competition. The matches today was entertaining to watch. We had a total of 10 goals, 6 in the match between Manchester city and Real Madrid and 4 goals in the match between Arsenal and Bayern Munich. I didn't expect this much goals and I was surprised but also entertained.

I know you would be happy seeing both clubs taking it down to the wire so that they could be stretched out and they could easily lose pace in the race but you have forgotten that the Europa League awaits you too. And you are probably the one without much of a break in terms of games to be played.

The games today were definitely excellent, end to end stuff, teams matching each other tenacity. This two games were fitting to be a stage higher than this, something like a semi final. Manchester city were there selves today as for Arsenal they lacked a little composure and players like Saka and Saliba should have done more.

I understand your point but one thing you have to understand is that Bayern Munich is literally a team that always wins Arsenal be it home or away and regardless of the fact that Arsenal are in form now doesn't mean that they shouldn't respect Bayern as their superior because the past always come to their mind but however, Bayern would have maintained the lead till the final whistle but yet they were so careless and Arsenal had to equalize and the match ended in a draw.

I know Arsenal winning at Emirate stadium would have reduced the tension in the second leg at Bayern Munich home ground Allianz Arena but however, Arsenal tried to equalize the goal rather than losing. It would have been bad had it been Arsenal lost at Emirate stadium.

There's is no doubt that Thomas Tuchel will fight hard to win Arsenal and advance to the next stages but a lot of things are expected from the both teams because Arsenal is up to something this Champions league season and only very few person can see the dimension Arsenal is trying to reach.

It is very early to judge this but we all know that Real Madrid is the king of comeback so Manchester City has to score as many goals as they can.

Arsenal 0 - 0 Bayern Munich for the moment.
Bayern Munich whether they win big whether they lose points. I find them weaker than what they used to be in the past while gunners are doing better in their league. We will see which one will win the game in the end.

Honestly I was surprised seeing people predicting that Real Madrid will beat Manchester City with a very good goal margin. I began to understand why people lose in betting. Anyone who understands football will not at any time on direct a team like Manchester City. I did not mean that Real Madrid is not estable team but I think Manchester City is more stable and consistent than Real Madrid of today. From the beginning of the season when vinicius was not around it was Jude Bellingham that was moving the club ahead. It seems like Real Madrid glory lies in the hands of few individual players. But this cannot be said of Manchester City because anyone could do the job for them. I believe that Real Madrid cannot overturn this match in as much as Manchester City remains consistent. Meanwhile, Guardiola is yet to introduce Kevin in the midfield. This means that there is another heavyweight sitting on the bench. In the other hand Real Madrid top  players are booked. This will make it difficult for them to succeed in the second leg of this meeting if the eventually escaped today. It is an interesting match to watch.

Any match in Champions League containing Real Madrid on it, is unpredictable!
Betting in the middle of the game will not increase the chances of bettors to win. Despite of being behind, Real Madrid players are always able to score several goals in short amount of time.
In today's game, they were able to comeback once and secure the draw in their home. Next game will be harder for sure.
Otherwise, the other game between gunners and Bayern Munich ended with a draw although Bayern Munich comeback.

I had thought today's UCL games will be low scoring and really tight but these teams knew better. I was completely blown away especially in the first half. Comebacks after comebacks. That right there was the classic UCL experience that I have come to love over the years. My thoughts:

Arsenal ending square will Bayern puts them in a very difficult position, I won't be surprised if they're shown the door next week.

Madrid? Should've closed the game. City will be very difficult to play at the Etihad and it brings back memories of City vs Real Madrid clashes in recent years in the UCL, City to qualify.

I might be wrong but these look like the most likely outcomes.

For some reason I think Arsenal was abit better than Bayern Munich so the 2nd leg is going to be pretty interesting for sure. Kinda hoping that would be Arsenal and its about time for Arteta to shine in UCL. Personally I dont like them in EPL but in UCL Im expecting that both City and Arsenal would get through to atleast top 4

Arsenal salvaged a 2-2 draw against Bayern Munich. A draw is probably a fair result on the balance of things. Neither team can say they definitively deserved to come away from this game with a win. Mikel Arteta’s side will head to Munich next week. I think the best Arsenal side in decades couldn't beat worst Bayern Munich side in decades. Also for the first time since January Arsenal were behind in a home game first of half.

That is why it is called the Champions League. The  competition is very interesting to watch and very difficult to predict. It is always entertaining to both fans and football lovers. These two matches was perfectly played well, it also shows that the teams that played are actually among the favorites to win the trophy.

The first Penalty incident was as a result of proper positioning of the defenders, when Saliva was trying to save the ball, he mistakenly hit Sane and he goes down and it was awarded.
Arsenal actually deserved the last minute penalty, but I think the referee was avoiding controversial moments at the end of the match. The second leg will be the match that will determine who to qualify, because I don’t think we (Arsenal )will lose to Bayern in the second leg

The Champions League is really the pinnacle, and these teams are the best in the world. They proved it again. It's not a coincidence for any of them to be here. They are here because they are the best teams with the best players. I can't wait for the rematches, they are incredible matches. It's completely uncertain who will advance.

I was striked with their very performances, both matches where very much interesting with fascinating goals that is just unbelievable. Arsenal played really good but my intentions was for them to win tonights game very sad how they nearly lost it till Trossard came in to equalize. I think comparing both matches, City VS Madrid was the most interesting, really best of the best competing and compulsory how one must drop for the other to move on, the match was the toughest as both teams scored brilliant goals. It seems I'm the only one here bothered why Debruyne wasn't featured in the match.

Manchester City got the result they wanted on the road in this match. Haaland's performance was bad. The game lacked pace in general but the goals took the game to another level. Modric should definitely play in the starting eleven in the second leg. Because Modric kept the ball in Real Madrid's possession after he came on in this game, he carried the ball well before the goal and Vinicius Jr assisted Valverde skillfully.

Real Madrid were very closed in defense and closed the penalty area well, but the goals they conceded from outside the penalty area show that their defense needs to be questioned. Generally, people overestimate how good Arsenal are. Don't get me wrong, they're a good team, they play very compact and press well, but they lack the experience that the other top teams currently in the champions league have. I found it amusing when people said Arsenal would trash Bayern Munich. These judgment were mainly because of Bayern current league form. We've been watching football long enough to understand these things. The champions league is a different ball game. It's a knock out game. You could play very well over two legs and a penalty or red card would ruin it for you and you're done, you've been knocked out. A lot of experience is required to succeed in the UCL.
If Saka had any experience, he'll make sure that ball ends up at the back of the net instead of looking for a penalty.

The way I see it, Arsenal would get knocked out in the second leg. They still have a chance but I don't think they'll be able to win in Germany. It's probably for the best if they just focus on winning their 7 remaining matches in the league. It would be an interesting game this, even more interesting to than the first leg, but Bayern Munich would win.

It seems that Tuchel has made the best analysis since he knows Arsenal better than the Premier League. Thanks to his analysis, they disrupted Arsenal's style of play early on, but Arsenal was better in the second half and scored the equalizer. They were lucky not to be defeated, but a German hell awaits them in the rematch. Great opportunity for Bayern.

Haaland performed poorly because he was closely guarded by the Real Madrid defender, so just look at the goals scored by Man City which came from outside the penalty box. However, it must be admitted that Man City as usual played very well even though Real Madrid had more rest time than Man City, plus Man City did not play their key players (KDB and Kyle Walker), Real Madrid also played at home with great support from supporters. outstanding. but Real Madrid couldn't take advantage of it all, of course this was a very disappointing result for Real Madrid.

The reason is that in the second leg Man City was superior because they maximized Cityzens. Does anyone feel as confused right now as I do regarding which match to watch first between the Arsenal vs Bayern match and the Madrid vs Man City match? 
Both matches will start at the same time. And actually I don't want to miss watching both of them. But I had to leave one of them out.

I probably watch till either of them is leading 2 goals, then I will switch to watch Real Madrid vs Manchester City because leading 2 goals is already hard to comeback, so I assume the team is already win.

No reason to call that bayern's quality was underrated compared to the arsenal. Varsenal cannot thrash Bayern at home, which is a disaster for Arsenal. Unable to beat its opponent at home will probably put bigger pressure for varsenal at the second leg.
