Unexpectedly, Forest was the one who broke the deadlock. Nuno Santo's decision to bring on Hudson Odoi and Elanga was the right one because it was from these two players that Forest's winning goal was scored. The result of the match that was beyond our expectations happened today, previously we continued to doubt that Manchester United won over Southampton while Liverpool we actually thought had an easy match against Nottingham Forest at Anfield, but in fact what we thought will lost (Manchester United) actually won with an absolute score, while Liverpool who were some of our favorites here to win actually suffered an embarrassing defeat at home ,  Liverpool who played at Anfield were able to dominate the match up to 70%, but the many opportunities created could not be used well to score goals in the match, although in the match Nottingham Forest continued to get pressure but they played more effectively in taking advantage of every opportunity that existed, the substitutions made by Nuno really changed their luck in today,  Hudson Odoi and also Elanga who came in as substitutes were actually able to improve Nottingham Forest game, starting from a quick counterattack, Hudson Odoi was able to make good use of the pass from Elanga to scoring 1 goal, Liverpool finally got their first defeat today and make Manchester City  quite safe with 12 points at the top of the standings.

A good win for united at the end, it's not about whether Southampton were unlucky or not because at the end united played well and they for once deserved the win but the thing with united is that there is actually nothing certain about them maintaining the same form they used and showed in today game because I wouldn't be surprised that they actually played rubbish in their next game because that's exactly what they have been doing ever since.

It was a well deserved win for Manchester United, they played well and they got the three points they came for. Southampton was never a better team than them but playing from home and how Manchester United’s performance is not certain made a lot of us to doubt Manchester United whether they’ll win the match or not. Eric Ten Hag will be most happy with this win and I know he’ll now want to relent and continue in this form for the next few games to come.

Hudson-Odoi has always been a super substitution most times, he always come in and make changes to the game. He should be a dangerous players that defenders should take note of when substituted into the match. The premier league is home of football indeed, always giving us different results when we don’t expect them. What a horrible result by Liverpool today! Despite being the much better playing side, they just screwed things up big time by a 1-0 loss at Anfield... Sometimes big clubs do this in an unexpected moment which is normal of course.

Maybe they just weren't on their lucky day. But no doubt so many people lost on their bets in many ways such as Liverpool to win, over 2.5 goals etc etc. I really hate it when I lose that easy too.  

By the way Haaland still continues to break records.    He has become the first PL player to score 9 goals in the first 4 PL games. Such a beast!

From the head to head records, I didn't get a Nottingham win at Anfield in the past and thus, this Nottingham win at Anfield is its first win or maybe I missed it, don't know. But regardless, Liverpool really had bad luck in this home match because after all, Liverpool also really had dominance and or a very big effort in this match but the result still failed. Because, if for example Liverpool played badly then this defeat would not be bad luck but because Liverpool underestimated Nottingham but anyway, the reality is that Liverpool also still played well in this match but Nottingham was too strong and maybe also lucky.

With this defeat, it certainly makes Manchester City back to being the top team in the Premier League standings. Although it's still early in the season but still, with Manchester City managing to be a team without defeat so far, it still shows that Manchester City will still manage to dominate the Premier League this season.

It's quite unexpected but in champions league week like this, there used to be some shocking results because coaches, sometimes do rest key players which may have effect in the outcome of the game. In this case, Liverpool's coach played his first eleven and looking at the stats, the reds didn't play badly as they dominated in ball possession and shots on goal. Honestly, I'm not surprised by the result because just has you said, sometimes football happens but I'll be hoping they bounce back with a win in their next game.

Indeed it is a surprising defeat for Liverpool to loss to Nottingham Forest. However, that can be as a result of under estimating a club at some point that has lead to this , but it is no longer new it has happened before and it will still happen again where a club that is assume to be a weaker team goes home rejoicing in victory, indeed it was a big disgrace at Anfied and record has it that it is Nottingham Forest first victory at Anfied since 1969, Liverpool players over under estimated Nottingham Forest and thought is going to be just an easy ride probably a clean sheet after the their international duties but yet they struggled and man of the match Alex  moreno made it happened at 72 minutes of the game and it ended.

They tried their best to equalize but couldn't even score a single goal. Jota was useless for 60 minutes and I can't say Nunez was very different either. Robertson was another player I didn't like the most.    But anyways, these things happen in football. The important thing is to leave this behind and focus on the next game.

If Manchester United couldn’t win Southampton, then it will be a bad one for them. I wasn’t too confident that they would win, but I was thinking they would win the match, but I never expected them to score three goals in the match. I was just surprised that Rashford was able to score a goal in the match. Rashford, which we know to always perform poorly in most matches was able to score in the match. I do say Rashford is among Manchester United's problems, and I don’t know why Ten Hag keeps on making use of him.
 
Since Manchester United were able to secure a win in today's match, then the pressure on ten hag will definitely be reduced, at least he will be able to breathe a little bit, but Manchester United winning against Southampton doesn’t mean there is improvement in their team.

A superb performance by Manchester United against Southampton! I really enjoyed watching that.    They dominated especially the 2nd half. Southampton literally couldn't do anything in the whole 45 minutes.

de Ligt, Rashford and Garnacho scored their goals. It is nice to see de Ligt starting to adapt. Rashford really needed it after another horrible start to a new season. And of course, Garnacho benefited from his chance very well. I don't even know why Erik ten Hag insists on preferring Rashford over him... It doesn't make sense when we look at it from a general aspect. Garnacho has been much more consistent.

Anyway now I hope this would be enough to push them to get better results as of now.

Congratulations to Manchester United on there 3 zero away win against Southampton they are back on winning ways after losing there last two games in a row.
Southampton really played well in the first half of the game but they were unfortunate to convert any of there chances, Manchester United on the other hand have to make good use of there chances by scoring 2 goals in the first half of the game a goal from de Ligt and Marcus Rashford gave Manchester United a lead in the first half.
Of a true Garnacho has been consistent for Manchester United maybe Erik Ten Hag know his reasons why he have to start Rashford over Garnacho though both of them did well that game.

At least they deserve a Congratulations today by winning Southampton 3 zero, because normally in the beginning of the game was quite though for them Southampton players was struggling to score if not for the good save by Onana I think they would have been first to score in that game.

However I think one thing that normally disorganized Southampton in the game was the penalty, because it was when they finally miss the penalty that Manchester united Wake from there sleep and few minutes they score first goal that help them to dominate Southampton in the game. So hopefully I think they fully back to there winning ways.

Brighton and Ipswich will be a great game, two of the teams that spent the most money this year, that should be something fun to watch. I believe that Brighton will still win, but it will be good to see because we would have a chance to see what can be done. We should consider this not a small game anymore because of the name of the teams because they actually spent some money to be good and Brighton ahs been great so far as well.

I believe that Liverpool will win and City will win too. These three games could be something to bet on, would be fine. Honestly games in premier league are almost always potentially shocking, we can see even a team like City end up losing, not happen that frequently but it happens just as when you do not expect it so betting isn't easy here.

A very embarrassing defeat at home and made many bettors lose in this match. Everyone would have thought that Liverpool would have easily defeated Nottingham even though Nottingham had defeated 1 time in the previous 5 meetings but this is us talking about a home game that should have given 3 points.
Really disappointed with the performance Salah, Jota and Diaz who always had chances but seemed less aggressive. Maybe this is one of the reasons the international break certainly had a little effect on the performance of some players.
I'm sure Arne Slot will be blamed after this.

I am more concerned about the future of the United this season, although I wish them well in their career pursuit this season to top the Premier league but that cannot be achieved with little wins. The united needs to win bigger matches and work on their consistency this season which has been the problem of the club lately. What is wrong with Man U, is not just the ability to be able to win games alone, but their ability to win both small and big games consistently to the extent that it can lift up a trophy for the club to celebrate.

Today, I celebrate with the Red Devils for their hardworking triumph to win Southampton with 3 goals to zero but that's not just enough to make Ten Hag savage Ronaldo with his famous qoute unbehalf of the Rashford goal, he really needs to learn how to take advantage of the squad depth available to him and use it to win big matches more consistently.

Shit happens this way at times. You might be in a red hot form only for the club to return back from the international break and lose form. They'll definitely bounce back up in the next two to three games to be played in the Premier League Competition. In general, they did great I'm not even gonna lie about it but Mo Salah and Co's should have buried the chances they had.
Great night for Chelsea tonight, one credit I want to give out would be to Chelsea's goalkeeper who was brilliant tonight. Also that Introduction of Tosin stabilized the defense tonight.

Today might be victorious for Manchester United, but with their performance  during the first half its obvious  they are not yet ready to return to their former glory  as one of EPL title competitors. They might have won the game but their performance was very poor, thanks to Andre Onana who saved the penalty from Archer else, Southampton would have been inspired to do more and that would definitely  lead to the red losing the game. Well I think casemiro changes was made at the right time and once again  he prove himself useful unlike the previous  game were his performance  was rated to be out of form. But the fact that ten hag hasn't been making the signing decisions is another topic  to be discussed because,  that has also been affecting the games.

Making signings, ETH should send out appropriate scouts out there. Winning comes from the cooperation of the players and also the coach, who also plays major role in the progress and growth of the team. It's a competitive race for Manchester United and they have to put things right for themselves. Winning games are more responsibility for the manager who's incharged. Manchester United are strong enough regarding their standards and this is will ruined their reputation as top club in EPL. Erik Ten Hag have poor stats when it comes to making signings for Manchester United. This is exceptionally weigh out of the line for the club.
