Arsenal have good fixtures ahead for a few weeks in the league. It is still an opportunity for Gyökeres to prove himself. But it is difficult to trust him for now. He is still having adaptation problems. And he had better work on his quickness more.

Every team has tried to improve their performance during the international break. Liverpool are under  heavy pressure after losing three consecutive matches. They have also lost the top spot in the Premier league after losing two consecutive matches. Liverpool will want to get back on  track with a win in this match.

On the other hand, Manchester united's performance  has been very inconsistent. Despite having  a strong squad, they are not doing well . I will especially criticize manchester united's defense. The performance of the defenders is very poor. In 7 matches, United's boys have scored only 9 goals, but have conceded 11 goals. If United's defenders can play well, they may have a chance to draw the match. But if the defense is weak as usual , liverpool will win.

Disappointed?! Maybe you should be disappointed with Mikel Arteta for not playing to his strength. I will also not compare him with Darwin Nunez which I think he's miles ahead, he will definitely score more goals as he gradually goes,  as much as he can keep fit and be consistent, the goals will definitely come in sooner than later.
He is not low on confidence,  Arsenal wingers and Midfielders need to just create more chances for him like they did create for Kai Harvertz last season.

I will disagree with you on this one, I don't think Gyokeres is a disappointment at Arsenal,  he might not have scored much goals as we have expected, but he has changed the way teams now play against Arsenal.  We don't see 2-3 players around Saka anymore,  because they know Gyokeres is a treat in the middle and defenders will rather double up on him and that has giving the midfielder and the attacking wingers more freedom to affect the game. You can argue that his is brought in to score goals for the team and I can tell you that 3 goals in 7 matches is still not bad for a new striker that is adapting to a new league.

Gyokeres scored 39 goals and provided 6 assists in 33 matches with Sporting last  season. There is no doubt that he has performed  brilliantly. But no one expected  him to score so many goals in the Premier League. There are few strong clubs in the Portuguese league. That is why he has been able to score a lot. But almost  all the clubs in the Premier League are strong.

He is also new to the Premier league platform. It is not easy to adapt to a completely new environment. It is quite difficult to adapt to a new environment, new teammates and new tactics. Even then , Gyokeres has continued to try to perform well.

Viktor Gyokeres has scored 3 goals in 7  matches for arsenal. Expectations are definitely higher from Gyokeres. However, Gyokeres is gradually adapting to Arsenal. Gyokeres' performance is also improving.

Disappointed?! Maybe you should be disappointed with Mikel Arteta for not playing to his strength. yeah, Gyokeres has scored three goals however no assists in 7  league games this season. That means his conversion rate is now phenomenal,, you have to admit it, dude.

I would say he is still trying his best to adapt to the physical structure &  pace of the EPL. These adaptation issues are certainly real, you cant just call it an excuse.. Another thing is as Oluwa-btc said, you cant compare him to Nunez, this comparison is completely unfair, imo..  you know, Gyökeres has destroyed the scoring charts in Portugal, scoring 39 goals in 33 games, its wild ! So there is no doubt that he has the pedigree. It is not just his fault actually, if Arteta &  the midfield want him to score goals, they need to feed him better, ok??

Gyokeres should be given much time to adapt into the team and the premier League. One thing that fans do is putting unnecessary pressure to new players which arrives especially when they have done well in their previous teams. And this is not a good one because we kind of kill the morals of the players when they don't live up to our expectations. Every league is unique and perculier in its own way the premier League is one of the toughest leagues to play in the world so you don't expect Gyokeres to just pick up form but I am one person that believes in the quality of this player.

You never can tell Manchester United might shock you guys in as much as Manchester United have a very poor performance this season we should also know that same Liverpool has lost form and this match is really unpredictable like have supported Liverpool in this particular match for long now but I'm not really 100% sure of that support, the game might turn out to be something else and that no one can really tell, so let's just wait for Sunday to come the both teams are not to be trusted as it stands now so it's not really nice to pick side now except you're a supporter of any of the teams.

Liveprool is undoubtedly light years ahead of MU in football MU needs a complete restructuring, If a sheikh buys them, it's the best option, but it's the healthiest option. I had thought about the possibility of a new coach, but no, that's not the solution anymore That's why I think Liveprool will overtake MU.

I don't think comparison is the issue here because of it is about comparison then Liverpool has more leverage more than manchester united but the question now is that is Liverpool ready because most of this clubs they have a way of disappointing there fans if not this should be a very easy game for Liverpool because Manchester United currently don't have any stamina, so they are always at the mercy of there opponent because they can Fall any time so it is very important not to put too much hope on Liverpool.

3 goals, 15 shots inside the box, and 4 headers according to FotMob's statistics show that Gyokeres' performance is still far from outstanding, but for me, that's normal for Victor Gyokeres.
I don't want to blame Arteta and everything related to what Gyokeres has achieved so far. Arteta expects something better from the number 9 player, but it takes time.
Only Thierry Henry has successfully fulfilled the role of the number 9 player; after that, there has been no one else, including Nicklas Bendtner and Adebayor, who have not lived up to expectations if the goal is to maximize the number 9 player.

Be ready for a big surprise in this match because Manchester City is not going to get that winning so easy. Everton have improved and can challenge any team in the league this season. Most of the key players of Manchester City are just coming back from international duties, a factor that I consider may affect them in their first match after international break. Everton can be troublesome for any team in the EPL especially Liverpool since that is a derby game, the game against City might end in a draw or win for City favor.

I guess the fact that City haven't been consistent is something that has been considered on this game by you  and then expecting Everton to get a shocking win but I doubt will lose at home.

They didn't sign him for 7 games, there are still 31 league games to be played, he's not a completely a disappointment ist too early to make this conclusion. He's coming from a less intense league to one of the toughest a league in the World. He's going to need some time.

I think as a fan we need to do better, we're putting too much unnecessary pressure on these guys.

Of course we can't compare manchester city and everton, manchester city is way more better than them but thier questionable performance is the reason why some people keep doubting. Me personally do not have much confident in manchester city in this match, because for everton to defeat crystal palace in thier previous match showed that they are making alot of improvement. But yeah I can't really judge from thier previous match because they hosted crystal palace so they had alot of advantage so now that they're playing at away I think thier performance is not going to be as that of when they're playing in their home.

I have similar feeling but I will humbly defer on this for the reason that Manchester City will be playing at home and it will be a big slap to Pep Guardiola's face if Everton even get a single point at Etihad. In addition, Haaland have been extremely remarkable of recent so even if Everton would want to prove stubborn, they should expect a goal from Haaland. In other words, if they want to win City, they will have to score a minimum of two goals because Haaland will score them. 

You're just being so optimistic about this haaland of a guy LoL, but I think you're saying the truth because with the look on his face i can possibly say that the guy is still craving for more goals he has already scored enough goals when the league have not even gotten to the middle. And I'm pretty sure that he will still score more than this because he's gifted, he always hit the target. Well let's see how it goes with them but I'm still scared to bet manchester city to win maybe i think I will look for a different option like over 1.5 or 2.5 because i believe that there will me more goals in this match.

I think the fans are just mounting unnecessary pressure on this Gyokeres guy because this is certainly just his 7 game in the premier league and it is not that he is hasn’t scored any goals but this is a new league and he will most certainly have challenges not because of the toughness of the league but because of the pattern of the club he arrives in and how he has to adapt to this new system or environment but we all know this will take time, for me it is him that is even making it too difficult for himself by overdoing things too much but he can actually keep it simple and not trying to bully defenders.

I don’t understand why you’re blaming Arteta for Gyokeres form or was he expected to actually switch to a pattern that actually fits the striker that’s like building the team around the striker. Yes a manager needs to look for a way to accommodate the striker but definitely not building the team around him

At least he still has a good stat, which can improve with time. Is not like they expecting him to have sane goal scoring record he had at Sporting.

Even Amorim who was having a great record there as his manager as seen things different in the EPL. Also not everyone is Erling Haaland adaptation may take time. Other players faced same issues moving to a new club and Mbappe was somehow caught up on this although in a different case.

This game is an open game for both sides in my perspective, there's no particular team that is tied to wining this match 100%, Manchester city can win, as well as do Everton too, However, it matter of who's tactical system of display would work in their encounter, even if possible they can Lockheed in this game,  because I'm not seeing any possibility that either of them wants to lose this game for the other.

Liverpool have lost twice in a row, and this is Arne Slot's last chance to secure a win. Although the odds are quite tough, Manchester United still have a higher chance of winning. Liverpool will be playing with their top players, who are in good condition for this match. At the very least, they shouldn't be overtaken by Tottenham, Bournemouth, or Manchester City on this matchday.

The English Premier League matches their season has become too difficult to predict sometimes the teams you see as the best in a game will end up disappointing you so the best thing has been to just expect the unexpected so they you won't be surprised when it happens.  Manchester City against Everton should end in favour of City, they will be the host they have got their squad complete and their players back from international duties they wouldn't what to take chances as they will be hoping to begin their performance with a win at home.
