Betting on Liverpool currently seems like a bad idea except you either betting on them to concede or for both teams to score.

Two games now and still no win for Liverpool rather same scoreline, 2 vs 2 against Newcastle and Nottingham Forest, I feel the pressure will  soon be on Iraola but at least the positive side is Alexander Isak got a goal and if he can be consistent then things will only become easier for them.

Today, I saw a very different Chelsea side than the Chelsea I knew under Maresca. They played beautifully and were dangerous in the attack. Chelsea started the game strong but almost lost the lead in the late minutes of the game because of their weak defense - a problem I believe Alonso will be looking to solve in the coming weeks.

Chelsea performance wasn’t good today, what really helped Chelsea in the match is the strong attack which they had, that was the reason why Chelsea were able to score 4 goals in the match, their midfield and defense is kind of weak, so it’s making them concede so many goals. Right now Chelsea doesn’t have any problem with their attack, but they have to improve in other positions, they need to stop conceding goals anyhow.

It’s would been so bad if Manchester United couldn’t get a win against Ipswich town today. Manchester United played well in the match, and I know some people that predicted the match to end as draw, but Manchester United played incredibly well, and were able to secure a win in the match.

One thing I've come to understand about football in general is that it takes a lot of effort to build a winning and a formidable team, and it takes zero or no effort to bring that team down and make them weak. For those who have been genuinely following up with the league for years now, we can easily agree that this Liverpool's problem was something we all saw coming. Top players that we used to know all started leaving while some of replacements weren't as tough as the previous guys. I have always knew it was never going to be the same since the departure of Klopp, but clubs needs to learn how to move on.

Just like you said, the players need time to adjust because of course, it takes time to build a team which I think Iraola can do, but the question is... Are the board and fans patient enough to see that?.

It's nice to see them firing on all cylinders, but this conceding habit is even more disturbing. Defense has always been their major problem and the worst part is, it's not that easy to find a very good defensive setup because it's more of something that needs to be built. Good defenders are not made in a day... It's a consistent thing that eventually makes them top.

Xabi Alonso needs to work on his team defence, because they easily concede goals. Maybe get a new CB if there's any available in the market.  This Alonso Chelsea have alot of potential to compete for the league against Manchester city and Arsenal.  The advantages they have now,is the time they have to rest since they are not playing in any European competition. They really need to make use of this opportunity.

If Manchester United had lost to Ipswich today , their fans would have set the whole club on fire. The disgrace of losing back to back to 2 newly promoted club will severe. The way played today was impressive, although at the first 20 minutes, they looked a bit disorganised. I think Ipswich scoring them, opened the Man United players eyes. First win against a newly promoted side, I want to see how they will play against tough team.

At this post they are all but assured to win, I'm seeing alot of aggression against Carrick online from fans of Manchester United but honestly he doesn't deserve that much hate, he is a good coach, losing the previous match was very regrettable but at least now with 5 goals already scored, they might have lost last time but their 3 points are ready for them plus 5 goals. The league is just starting, they are not amongst my favourite to win the league but they will be placing well at least.

This is the best performance from Manchester United since the beginning of the season. At least, they were able to prove some people wrong who thought that they have started the season in a bad way.

Manchester United got a big win. You say United performed well in this match. But I think United performed well in the last two matches. In the first match, they could not finish well due to luck. Leaving it completely to luck here would be wrong. United were so busy playing with possession that they could not finish properly in attack. In the first match, Hull put United under a lot of pressure, which increased the amount of attack but did not produce results. In the first and second matches, the pass accuracy was 90% and the ball position was above 60%. In the second match, United focused more on finishing the attack by reducing the ball control. As a result, they seem to perform much better. Basically, Manchester United played well from the start and they performed quite consistently.

The boys performed well in the second hard work a 4 goals.

Maino was named man of the match, ahead of Bruno Fernandes who scored Hattrick in this game,  kobbie Maino outshined everyone in the midfield,  he boss the midfield  and was a key player for our wining tonight,  I hope he maintain this form this season, he's better than Tielemans and Andrew Santos,  Maino  should start ahead of them.

Chelsea is actually looking dangerous this season, but I will only say that on their attack, they have to try to stop conceeding goals this much. Today their defense was so disorganized, the same against full ham as well, they where so close to ending the match as a draw if cole Palmer wasn't confident enough to try outside shot.

But regardless I'm impressed with the progress, because to be honest we see a different Chelsea the one capable of competing for the title, at this point I will not hold back to gamble on them for a win.

It was never in doubt that Manchester United was going to win, at old trafford, against a newly promoted side, definitely they were going to get all 3 points. Since micheal Carrick took over Kobbie Maino have been one of the most outstanding and consistent player, today he has shown why Carrick trust him so much. He really played well today and I also rate him high than Bruno despite him scoring Hattrick.

This was a much needed 3 points, after that humiliating loss at hull city, they needed to catch up on the standing. Champions league game will be coming soon and squad will begin will rotate, let just hope it doesn’t affect the team performance.

I was watching the game but the moment Manchester united first concede a goal from their opponent I was not longer interested in watching the game because I expected Manchester united to first score before their opponent and I saw the frustration on Michael Carrick's face when his team conceded a goal. I was thinking they will lose the match like the previous time but they emerge stronger on the second half and smashed their opponent. Manchester has 5 goals and conceded 4 which means they have only a goal

After losing their first game in the EPL, this win will bring relief to Manchester United. It's great to see them come back from one goal down to put up such an impressive display. The team is not yet stable because there are still lapses in the defense. Conceding four goals in two games against average sides is not encouraging. From my observations, the Red Devils will find it difficult to defeat a formidable side. Michael Carrick turned the team around last season.  I hope that it will continue this season.

The performance of United players today was what we expected them to do against Hull City in their first game, you are a goal down as a big team there is no need to go back all that is needed is to come out in full force and attack until you equal the goal and take the lead again. Today I saw a different United the moment they conceded the first goal and I am happy they made their fans so happy today by turning the game to a festival of goals though there was too opening in the defense which lead to them conceding two goals, the coach should work more on his defense so that they will not be scoring goals and conceding it will demoralize the players.

I don't think Chelsea attack will be a problem this season, they have world class players in all positions, the problem they're facing is the midfield. Chelsea needs a solid midfield since Enzo is willing to leave. Caicedo was out injured, and luckily he's back and he played some minutes, and I just hope the injury doesn't drop his form.

Saying Chelsea's performance against Brighton is not good is laughable. Well, it was far from their best performance but winning Brighton with that team was really impressive IMO...

This is an improved Brighton side, their first game result against Villa should have passed a message but you probably didn't pay attention. Chelsea were out of options and had to pair Lavia with Gusto (the worst midfield pairing I've seen recently), with Hato on the left which caused problems. It was the only way other than risking James and Caicedo.
The team would have been balanced if we had a stronger midfield.
Not that Chelsea had a problem in the defense, the midfield was the major problem and when James and Caicedo were subbed in, the game changed instantly.

The attack is the strongest department in the Chelsea team but I don't think you're giving Brighton the respect they deserve. Even with a full squad I think Chelsea will struggle for a win.

This reminds me of the previous season. The pattern is similar. Chelsea started well, but their form faded somewhere in the middle, and I'm afraid they'll face the same situation in a few months. I like some individual players ^{like Joao Pedro i}n their squad, but not the team in general, as they tend to be very nervous when playing. So I prefer not to bet on them this season either.

On September sixth, Chelsea will play against Arsenal. This is truly Xabi's test. Six valuable points even though Chelsea's performance still feels lacking under Xabi. In two EPL matches, Chelsea managed to win, but I see that they are very weak in defense. They scored 7 goals and conceded 5, which is bad—they need to fix their defense. Also, Chelsea's game control should be better. Especially the midfielders, they should be able to build the match rhythm so that matches like the one against Brighton don't happen again.

I think it's gonna be a real one for the both teams that day. Especially Chelsea, they will be facing a club with a quality in defense, and if they can't score, then they are loosing already because Arsenal are good upfront. They have some players at the front that can cause them problems, added with the fact that they are easily conceding goals, comedian 5 goals I'm two games. Alonso has to keep up with his defensive tactics while in preparation of the game against Arsenal. Arsenal would still face Aston villa today for there second leg, and after that, they prepare to meet there fellow north London brothers. A suitable mention for Chelsea after watching the match against Brighton is Xabi Ball. A change that would never be achieved if one did not pay attention to how Chelsea players played in the two matches this season.
The match vs. Coventry City and the match vs. Brighton made it increasingly clear how Xabi implemented an unusual playing pattern for Chelsea by relying on mostly young players in the midfield, including in lower player positions.
In my opinion, Chelsea's weakness is that the bottom line is not solid when the team is attacking. Placing Gusto in the midfielder position, Xabi successfully carried out his experiment.

I had already known that Chelsea was gonna won that game yesterday despite the fact Brighton started very good this season by beating Aston Villa four goals to nothing on their first game, I was certain that Chelsea was gonna won that game, but the one thing I didn't expect was that much goals in that game, I didn't think Chelsea could score Brighton four goals, and Brighton equally tried by scoring 3 goals, so definitely Xabi Alonso should take care of his defense then I can tell he's good to go this season, probably winning a major domestic trophy this season.

yeah Hull claimed an important away victory against Coventry, one of their main rivals. their team defending has been outstanding. it’s way too early for long term planning but surviving a season in the Premier League on this budget would be an absolute miracle.

Hull so far in their two matches have played impressively, and their next challenge will be against Aston Villa. It’s definitely going to be an interesting match, and we should wait to see if Hull can maintain this trend, especially playing at home.  

But I also want to highlight Coventry performance after their consecutive losses are starting to show. I’d say coach Frank Lampard has been too naive by applying an open style of play when facing tough opponents like Arsenal. However, in the match against Hull, whose individual quality is obviously below Arsenal and Coventry could even be considered the favorite in that match, they still couldn’t create many chances.

Coventry seems more comfortable controlling the ball than being forced to defend. The problem is, so far the chances they’ve created haven’t been very threatening. They did dominate against Hull, but they were less effective in building attacks. I think Frank Lampard needs to make a lot of changes so Coventry can get out of this bad streak, especially when it comes to the strategy they’ll use against strong teams and balanced teams. Because if things keep going like this, their long wait could end painfully again at the end of the season.

Hull City kept its squad intact. thats why its teamwork and on pitch fluidity are better comparing to newly built teams. the other teams will likely get their tactical systems fully working after 5 6 weeks, at which point the difference in squad quality will start showing.
grabbing surprise points early in the season and scraping together points at home later on will be crucial. in a way, this is a solid strategy for surviving in the league.

I hope it doesn't go downhill in the middle of the road, with new coach Xabi Alonso they are getting stronger, meaning there is no more tension later on the pitch sometimes a conflict that becomes a decreased performance.

This is indeed just the beginning, an impressive game in the appeal of last season, which becomes curious next week against Arsenal, how far the young coach Arteta vs Xabi in this case, Chelsea certainly have big ambitions, while Arteta has a dominant game.

Chelsea is shocking me with their 2 goals in 14 minutes. Leao with his 1st goal followed by Neto with 2nd goal. I can't believe how effective Xabi ball is. I mean they are not really dominating the possession, but when they get the ball, their team work is intimidating opponent's goalie.

I feel a bit pessimistic when the game start because they were not owning the possession, but it seems their system build to create effective attack.

It only needs a few touches, then the ball reach their opponent's hird yard. If they can draw or win against Arsenal. I think we will see the competition between these two london clubs for the title race.

Chelsea is just destroying so far Brighton on the field. Its really insane how good the ball is moving and how dominant Chelsea is. Now its 3-0 in 34th minute and i think Chelsea wont stop here and will probobly score even more goals.

This is just a disaster for Brighton and i dont see a way Brighton can comeback in this match

The game ended with 4-3. Honestly, that score is not the result i was looking for. Impressed with Chelsea's attack at the first half, but disappointed with the way they defense at second half. Their mid is also non exist in this game. This result should have told them a lesson if they're still lacking in the defense and midfield. They have to find a solution before a real game against Arsenal whose win EPL last season.

Honestly, The Gunner's may be the favorite to win the match i wouldn't just say that Aston villa will not bounce back and I think I feel that villa will give arsenal some tough time to handle the ball from the heavy defeat they encounter last week they will be motivated to trouble Arsenal as usual, Arsenal is the strongest team now in premier league if they can maintain their consistency I believe they will come  out victoriously on this crucial match they are about to begin. Aston villa coach my it clear that they are grabbing their three points no matter  how hard it will be he said he did it before.
