Today, I saw a very different Chelsea side than the Chelsea I knew under Maresca. They played beautifully and were dangerous in the attack. Chelsea started the game strong but almost lost the lead in the late minutes of the game because of their weak defense - a problem I believe Alonso will be looking to solve in the coming weeks.

I really hope Chelsea finds a long lasting to their defense problem. It's annoying that they almost lost the match yesterday. They were comfortably leading 3-0 before they allowed Brighton to get back into the game after scoring 1 to make it 3-1 before the first half whistle. Yesterday match was a proof that Sanchez wasn't actually the problem at the back but the defenders are not reliable at all. Chelsea attack looks stronger now but a strong attack and a weak defense won't make the team to succeed because you're likely to concede goals every time you scored.

And we going to pretend we're not seeing Hull City occupying the No 2 on the table? Was it just the usual first time luck or what? I guess it is because Nottingham Forest did exact thing when they made it to the Premier League few seasons back. Let see if they can maintain the energy for a long time. I doubt if they can make top 4 but staying in the Premier League for another season is a good development at least.

Betting on Liverpool currently seems like a bad idea except you either betting on them to concede or for both teams to score.

I agree on betting on Liverpool to win, which would have been a disaster for the bettor. This is why it's good to go for the flexible alternative options than a straight winning on a club whose coach has just been changed.

Two games now and still no win for Liverpool rather same scoreline, 2 vs 2 against Newcastle and Nottingham Forest, I feel the pressure will  soon be on Iraola but at least the positive side is Alexander Isak got a goal and if he can be consistent then things will only become easier for them.

The situation in Liverpool is not that bad, except that people expected much from them, but I don't know how that would suddenly be possible when the club was not even doing great before Iraola, which was the very reason Arne Slot was sacked. Honestly, The Gunner's may be the favorite to win the match i wouldn't just say that Aston villa will not bounce back and I think I feel that villa will give arsenal some tough time to handle the ball from the heavy defeat they encounter last week they will be motivated to trouble Arsenal as usual, Arsenal is the strongest team now in premier league if they can maintain their consistency I believe they will come  out victoriously on this crucial match they are about to begin. I get Aston villa coach was just trying to be positively optimistic before going into the match and that’s fine, but we all know they are not beating Arsenal today.

We all saw how impressively Man united played yesterday against Ipswich scoring 5 goals and  conceding 2 goals which made it 5-2 win and Fernandes scoring a hat trick for Man united.

Man united were badly and seriously critics after they lost their first match 2-0 against newly promoted club Hull city and yesterday almost all critiscing Man united where same people praising Man united for there wonderful performance.

Man united still remain a strong title contenders this season, the team played well last season when carrick arrived, so losing their first match shouldn't make us write them off for the title contenders.

If Manchester United continue to play their matches like this from the beginning, then they might not be able to occupy a very good position. Manchester United team needs to take better steps for the next match and the coach needs to give him good leadership and play on the field with good tactics. Xabi Alonso is a great leader for Chelsea and the team has improved a lot and his strategy is really amazing. They played their opening match and second match very well and they collected important points, if they can maintain their performance and identify strongly then they can compete this season. But Chelsea team needs to strengthen their defense more as it is a bit weak which is why they have a record of conceding goals so they need to strengthen the weak points.

You have raised an important point. It is not normal to concede 5 goals in 2 matches against a weaker team than Chelsea. I hope Xabi Alonso will take this into consideration and take effective measures. You should also take the positive aspect of Chelsea that they have won both matches and their confidence has increased to do better in the upcoming matches. The fans are curious about what kind of instructions Alonso gives to his boys for the upcoming match when they have to compete with Arsenal. This is because Arsenal are very strong opponents and have made full preparations to win the trophy in this season and they will want to give importance to every match. and win to maintain the streak of winning trophies.

I was watching the game but the moment Manchester united first concede a goal from their opponent I was not longer interested in watching the game because I expected Manchester united to first score before their opponent and I saw the frustration on Michael Carrick's face when his team conceded a goal. I was thinking they will lose the match like the previous time but they emerge stronger on the second half and smashed their opponent. Manchester has 5 goals and conceded 4 which means they have only a goal

After losing their first game in the EPL, this win will bring relief to Manchester United. It's great to see them come back from one goal down to put up such an impressive display. The team is not yet stable because there are still lapses in the defense. Conceding four goals in two games against average sides is not encouraging. From my observations, the Red Devils will find it difficult to defeat a formidable side. Michael Carrick turned the team around last season.  I hope that it will continue this season.

The performance of United players today was what we expected them to do against Hull City in their first game, you are a goal down as a big team there is no need to go back all that is needed is to come out in full force and attack until you equal the goal and take the lead again. Today I saw a different United the moment they conceded the first goal and I am happy they made their fans so happy today by turning the game to a festival of goals though there was too opening in the defense which lead to them conceding two goals, the coach should work more on his defense so that they will not be scoring goals and conceding it will demoralize the players.

What I am considering for this team is the fact that they have a long season ahead of them and they have champions league to play in too, they will need to greatly improve if they want to go far in the champions league. In fact, I think the new season has already begun and the stamina of the players who are still very fresh will greatly help the results in betting. Instead of waiting against a strong team, the risk is more difficult to predict. Chelsea team that has been performing well, it must be admitted 2 match swept away with a win.

At this post they are all but assured to win, I'm seeing alot of aggression against Carrick online from fans of Manchester United but honestly he doesn't deserve that much hate, he is a good coach, losing the previous match was very regrettable but at least now with 5 goals already scored, they might have lost last time but their 3 points are ready for them plus 5 goals. The league is just starting, they are not amongst my favourite to win the league but they will be placing well at least.

This is the best performance from Manchester United since the beginning of the season. At least, they were able to prove some people wrong who thought that they have started the season in a bad way.

I don't see anything wrong with the team, they just need time to strengthen the bond and start winning as if that's only what they know how to do. A good display from United at Old Trafford.

They did good, at first I thought they were going to disappoint to the point where they wouldn't even be able to draw and end up losing but then the equalising goal came in and come second half they just demolished Ipswich.
As long as they continue the league like this they won't have any issues, of course Ipswich isn't the biggest team in England, it's not even amongst the biggest so Manchester United should make sure that a win against Ipswich doesn't get to their head, nothing brings a club down as much as underestimating their opponents.

It's was a good matchs but in term of Chelsea performance I think Xabi Alonso don't like this performance they are absolutely on the verge of wining the matchs and suddenly a team came back at 3:0 down. They have problems and xabi Alonso need to sort out this first Chelsea need Enzo in the squad they are the main midfielder right now and actually you can say he is the game controller. Chelsea need to renew Enzo contract. Chelsea also didn't find any good replacement of Cucurella's that's are some highlights player which Chelsea need to think about perfect replacement of that's player.

Brighton, Bedford, Bournemouth The 3 B team which is currently running the whole premier league So it's not a easy team to beat and if you at the title race match and you Facing any of the 3 B team you are not facing easy team they can make you tired and at the end you drop some point at that's matchs so same story happened at Chelsea they thought it's a easy matchs but at the end they nearly draw they match.

I would say Chelsea win over Brighton was hard-earned because Brighton were far ahead in possession but Chelsea were more tactical. Alonso has had very little time to rebuild the team and he still doesn't know much about the players. I would say that the new manager should focus more on strengthening the team's defense. In the first match of the league, Chelsea conceded 2 goals against Fulham and 3 against Brighton, a total of 5 goals in just 2 matches. The match was exciting and at one point it seemed that Brighton might win the match. The team demolished Aston Villa in the opening match of the league with a 4-0 goal difference. Chelsea are far ahead in terms of winning the title this season and their attack has been quite strong but Alonso needs to focus more on the team's defense.

This is what make Premier League different from any other leagues and also that is the reason why it is the best league in the whole world. Hull City have attracted attention of majority of football fans since when they defeated Manchester United in their open match of the season, the only thing I did is that, I added them to my watchlist so see how their future matches will go, I still see that we are in the beginning of the season so it will be so early to finalize things.

The Nottingham Forest performance in last two seasons was absolutely incredible, but what make me surprise about their performance was that, they could not be able to maintain it for a very long time. They make life very difficult for the top teams so let's see what Hull city will do when the meet the top teams.

I knew that Chelsea usually struggled against Brighton, but I didn’t expect the match should ended with too many goals. Brighton dominated the game in term of ball possession, but Chelsea managed to win with a goal difference. The way Chelsea was busy in the transfer window, I didn’t expect them to concede goals like they did in previous two games. They conceded two goals in the first game against Fulham, and they conceded three goals at home against Brighton.

Manchester United didn't lose this time. After their defeat in the opening game, they beat Ipswich Town 5–2 tonight to pick up their first win of the season in their second league match.

Manchester United got their first win of the season. They were able to win against Ipswich Town after they lost the another newly promoted club in the first game. Micheal Carrick learnt his lessons from the first game, he decided to start Mainoo in the second game. Manchester United will face Everton in their next game, and I hope they make use of their chances to score goals.

Chelsea won the game yesterday and I think they are very good when they are attacking,, but they have a very bog problem, because they concede too many goals, which is not good for a team trying to compete for the trophy. I also believe that the manager can see this issues,  and also looking for a way to solve it. I think they really need to do this fast if they are really serious about fighting for the Premier League trophy this season,  else they are not winning the trophy.

Yes, Arsenal has a high chance of winning, but since Aston Villa lost their first match, they will not want to lose easily in this match, but on the other hand, Arsenal is already a strong team, they are used to maintaining their consistent performance, and so they will enter the field strongly with the aim of winning. However, as Aston Villa lost their first match by a big margin before they realized anything, so they may want to play cautiously in this match, and so the match will definitely not be an easy match. However, in the end, everyone will expect Arsenal to win, and I also think that even though the match is very difficult, but Arsenal can win in the end.

Arsenal are more likely to win today's match but you should note that Aston Villa were in the top four in the Premier League last season. Besides i think that Morgan Rodgers has joined Chelsea, Lucas Digne has joined PSG, Emiliano Martinez has joined Chelsea and Ezri Consa has joined Arsenal, so this team has become relatively weaker than the previous season.

However even though Aston Villa are an experienced team on paper, we think that the current Premier League champions Arsenal will be able to dominate today's competitive match, as evidenced by the fact that Aston Villa lost 4-0 to a team like Brighton in their first match of the new Premier League season, it can be said that they will face very difficult obstacles against Arsenal in today's match.

Chelsea is the not in the champions league or in any other serious league that they have to worry about, their focus is mainly on the primer league, so I don't see the pressure you referring to.
What they should fix is their defense and I think that will fix a major problem, from there they can dominate the league, a lot might disagree Chelsea so far had the best attack of this season, for now though. And with that they already have an edge, what's next is defence
