I totally agree with your thoughts, the championship is becoming more and more exciting and competitive, for every false step that Inter or Juventus make, Serie A becomes more and more beautiful and stimulates the fans. That third team could be Milan if they work harder than now. But so far their performance isn't convincing enough to be part of any title competition. They made really unnecessary amount of point losses against small teams in the Serie A. They don't have any luxury like that now. If they aim to be in the competition for the title then they should play according to that. The point gap between Juventus and Milan is 7 points now. This is quite a big gap to keep up with top 2 teams.   

I don't think any other team than Milan can enter this competition for the title. Because the rest of the teams are really far away in points.
