It is a good question. Thiago Motta's success at Bologna in 2 years was very impressive. Maybe he would have a Xabi Alonso effect on Juventus as well.    Thiago Motta is also a dynamic and promising manager.

He doesn't have a big success in the past but he is getting better in time which is more important.    First a 9th-finish by Bologna and now a 5th one. He helped the team get to the Champions League so this is great progress.

We can take Xabi Alonso as an example also. He didn't have even any manager experience until coming to Leverkusen. I mean only managing a U21 team before. But we have all seen what he has done so far. I don't say Motta is guaranteed to be like him but he has potential to be one of the very good managers of our time. But to make this happen first he needs to make some immediate additions to Juventus squad this summer.
