When Roma was with Mourinho, I thought Feyenoord was stronger than Roma. However, after being coached by De Rossi and seeing their match against Inter Milan, I think Roma are now strong enough and can bet on them. They were able to appear very solid. Even though they conceded 4 goals, they also managed to score 2 goals. And I think it's normal because Inter Milan is the strongest team in Serie A this season and they are far above Feyenoord's level. I think the match will be very interesting because Roma are already a better team than when they were in the previous group stage.

I think Roma have always been stronger than Feyenoord. No matter their manager is Mourinho or De Rossi I mean. But now I see Feyenoord are quite favoured in the first leg of the matchup. 

I'm not intending to disrespect Feyenoord of course. They are a pretty decent team and they tried their best in the Champions League group stage as well. But there is still an important quality gap between these teams. Besides Roma already eliminated them twice not a long time ago.    I would have expected the odds to be closer than this. I don't expect Roma to lose today but the final score could be really a close one. 

Yes indeed, the previous AS Roma v Inter match in Serie A was at least enough to show that AS Roma still has a chance to be able to beat Feyenoord in this Europa League match. But even so, it seems that AS Roma is not the favorite to win in this match because after all, based on the odds at least the Feyenoord home team is still quite favored. Therefore, although it seems that AS Roma can still play well but yes, I think that Feyenoord will also be able to have a good effort also in this match.

I do think Feyenoord will win against As.Roma tonight but they will also win the overall qualify as I can't see Roma having a great run in Europa League , especially after Mourinho has left as he was the on who actually qualified this team here.

I also won't be surprised to see Quarabag doing a decent game at Braga tonight and take at least 1 point that should be enough for 2nd game to qualify further;D

Galatasaray should normally win this match. They are playing the first match at home and they have a much better squad. They must get an advantageous score. Icardi, Mertens and Barış will be on the field. Kerem is also there, even though he has played poorly in the last 3 matches. Manager Okan Buruk has put a team with high offensive power on the field. Frankly, I don't know any players at Sparta Prague. They are all low profile players. But they can be a good team because they are leaders in their own league. Since I didn't have the opportunity to watch it, it's a closed box set in my opinion. But we know Galatasaray, their win would be the likely outcome here.

I'm expecting a tough game because both team have a fair record in the Europa so far and it was expected initially that Roma was going to finish top of their group but then it turned out they did finished at the second position and I think that was disappointing to their management team and it contributed to sacking their head coach. Feyenoord has got a good record in their domestic league so far and have got a good attacking mechanism just like Roma, having lukaku who happens to have a good number of goal so far in the Europa will also be an advantage to Roma but the leta see what Rossi has got today.

Daniele De Rossi face serious with playoff round match regarding the current line up against Feyenoord, all main players will play on the first minutes where there are have Romelu Lukaku and Paulo Dybala are attacking line and left winger position filled by Nicola Zalewski. Have bit rotation with goal keeper usually Rui Patracio get regular position and replacing by Mile Svilar.

Regarding with AS Roma line up I believe has chance for winning first leg playoff round match and Roma want to make easy for qualifying in Europe League round of 16 for repeating their achievement last season managed well until final stage. Left few minutes before match begin and don't forget to watch Romelu Lukaku performance in this match and I believe he has chance for scoring goals.

Galatasaray will be looking for a win against their opponent Sparta Prague.Galatasaray, who were relegated from the Champions League to the European Cup, did not perform badly, but their luck was not on their side.Now their first opponent in the Europa League is Sparta Prague and they have an in-form opponent.They definitely have a chance to win against Sparta Prague, but it should be said that it will not be an easy match.I think Galatasaray will advance with a win at home and a draw away.

Well, if you look at the comparison of the odds for these two teams, it seems that the match has the potential to benefit the home team. the reason is, the odds have quite a different gap. it is possible, but not impossible, that this match could potentially end in a draw. It's just that because the match is being played at Rams Park, Galatasaray's home ground, the home team's probability is quite high to win this match. my estimation, Galatasaray will have no difficulty overthrowing their opposing team in this flayoff round. so, the ideal option is to bet on the home team. well, the match will be held in a few moments. let's just wait for the final result.

Sporting should get the win here so they don't have to worry about second match at home. Young Boys sometimes get surprise results. They are in a comfortable place in the league as they are 7 points ahead of second place team. They beat one time and draw one time with Red Star and finished Champions League group stage as third. If there was a slightly better team than Red Star in that group, Young Boys wouldn't have gotten out. I don't think they can do much in the Europa League. That late goal in the end of the first half made things difficult for Roma because they would have wanted to go into the half time on a level score. Feyenoord started the second half as the more confident side due to the goal, but they were not still sitting back in this game trying to defend their one goal, they were still trying to make attempts to score a second. Lukaku for Roma scores Roma's first goal to get the game to a leveled score before Feyenoord have the chance to increase their goal advantage, and still with enough time in the game, any of the teams can win the game.

It's a modest target for Roma but it's too big a target for De Rosi who is the new replacement coach at the moment.

Even if it is a good enough target but of course we must realize that for a new coach with minimal experience then something like this is a difficult condition and actually adds to the pressure even greater.
Replacing Mou with De Rosi I think the goal is not for the top 4 at the end of the season but trying to hope to improve the results to be even better. As for them being in the top 4, it's very good therapy if not as long as they finish in a higher position than Mou gave then it's also a good thing for Roma.

Sporting are almost getting to the end of their game against BSC Young Boys, but the effort that their opponents are putting in makes me start to think that Sporting can still make it. Although Sporting already has three goals, their opponents have already put in their goal. Making the score 1-3 from the indications of the game, definitely sporting will not have any challenge to win, even though their opponents are trying to win but they can't. I will still say that definitely sporting will win the game.

But that of Benfica and Braga, we will wait and see who wins the game because both their opponents are not that strong, but I have more hope in Benfica winning their opponents than in Braga because I am thinking Braga might end up in a draw or even lose, but we anticipate and wait for the game.

It was a nice decision for Roma to play a defensive game after Lukaku has equalized the goal with a header. De Rosii needs to win their host in the second leg at home, so that they can keep moving forward. A big task ahead of De Rossi, I hope that he can contain it.

It seems that De Rossi so far handling Roma is not bad just losing to Inter Milan in Serie A because Inter's opponents are not so strong for Roma but in the Europa League it will be a little different sensation then the squad and De Rossi will try hard to qualify in this playoff.

The game between Shakhtar Donetsk and Marseille will be a bit interesting if I should say so being as the hosts were not able to cope in Group H and won't want to waste this chance but again, Marseille won't sit with their hands folded while Shakhtar tries to beat them since they were able to finish with an impressive record in second place behind Brighton in Group B of the Europa league.
Shakhtar Donetsk will be playing their first competitive game of this year as they were thrashed 5-2 the last time they were in action in the champions league last year. The host will be looking to take advantage of the fact that Marseille have been on a rocky road, struggling to win in all competitions and even drawing to Metz in their weekend game last Saturday.
 Can Shakhtar get a win tonight as they invite Marseille to the Volksparkstadion in this early kick off or will Marseille take the lead? Believe me, it's quite difficult to predict with these two.

Indeed big things come in small boxes! I least expected the Shakhtar Donetsk game to produce four goals and all in the second half! This puts the competition on another level as both sides want to one up the other. Shakhtar were able to press and defend their lines tonight and this means Marseille will have to work extra hard if they want to beat them when they return to France for the return leg on the 22nd of this month.

I was really worried about Galatasaray's performance today.    I mean we were actually quite decent when it comes to scoring. But I didn't like our defending at all. We shouldn't have conceded 2 goals that easy. After that red card I was like "That's it!". We were still effective while playing with 10 players though but we were giving huge spaces to our competitor too.

Muslera's critical save and Sparta Prag's also getting a red card were the moments that we started believing in the win again.    Thankfully Icardi saved us by showing his quality with a great finishing in the last minutes.
