The Europa League is going to enter a new era of the way the competition is run from next season(2024-25). There will be 36 teams competing in the Europa League next season which will take part in the League format instead of the Group stage that used to have 4 teams in each group, consisting of a team from each pot, grouped. You're right. Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen become the leader of their domestic leagues. In Bundesliga, Bayer Leverkusen is leading with 10 points. Meanwhile Liverpool is leading the EPL standings with 1 point only. We can understand if it is not easy for Liverpool because EPL is the most competitive league in the world. However, leading the league means Liverpool and Leverkusen are in the best performance in this season. AC Milan is quite strong and has a good history in international competition. Brighton is a club but also they are an "idea" as well, they are just a team that keeps on searching for young players to shine, keep them if they are not worth a ton and make them play, and when they worth a lot sell them and sustain the club that way. A lot of teams does that, but not many in premier league does that, which means that it should be something unique for their own league.
