Had Salah been included in the starting XI, the outcome of the match might have been different. In the first half, Liverpool's attack did not play well. And this is why Atalanta's players become more confident. And that's why we saw a better performance from Atalanta's players in the second half.

I don't think if Salah was chosen for a start squad, this match can be different too much. Salah was sent in since a start of second half but he failed to help Liverpool. Salah looks to need more time to return his best performances but this season comes to the ending weeks and Liverpool no longer control their chances in Europa League and Premier League.

I don't agree that Liverpool didn't show interest in the competition, they did. They were simply outplayed by Atalanta. I think Liverpool overrated themselves or they underrated Atalanta. Yes, As Roma succeeded in answering some people's doubts about them, because before this match was held there were many narratives that doubted them. Most people underestimate Atalanta against Liverpool, even Jurgen Klopp himself allegedly underestimated Atalanta from his decision to choose the main line-up in the first half. Maybe Klopp thought that Atalanta would not play that well, but everything he thought was ultimately wrong after Atalanta won 0-1 in the first half. Klopp clearly tried to fix everything in the second half, but his plan failed because Atalanta actually scored 2 additional goals for a score of 0-3.

I agree that this is an embarrassing and disappointing result for many parties, but this is a risk that has actually been said on many occasions where it is not possible for a team to win even though they are the favorites to win. I didn't watch the Milan vs Roma match yesterday, so I don't know much about the atmosphere of the match until the end. Based on statistics, Milan basically really worked hard to win the first leg match by taking 25 kicks, but they only had 5 shots on target which indicates that Milan was really bad at finishing. Milan dominated, but Roma could compensate with their best game.

Liverpool seem to have prioritized the premier league meanwhile i was thinking such will be placed on the Europa as they don't get to play in the Europa all the season and this is going to be the last they will be playing under the leadership of klop as he has not been able to win the trophy with Liverpool before now and this appears like his best opportunity just before leaves but then it seem they want the premier league more.

If you look carefully at the ball possession, you will notice that Liverpool had more % ball possessions than Atalanta and that's because Liverpool played them, they even hard more shots and more ball on targets but couldn't convert that into any goals and as for Atalanta, any first attempt they get, they nailed it on Kelleher and that's how they were able to snuck out of Liverpool, they were a bit aggressive but Liverpool never with 2 times foul than what Liverpool played yesterday.

I like the professionalism of Liverpool and I think they seems to be the favorite of these teams but they really let's their guard down and now, this match is going to be one of the difficult one they will face.
