Jurgen Klopp have plenty of work for the team, enough time to fixed his squad for the purpose to bounce back to excellence conditions when it comes to winnings. Liverpool are fierce in competitive race for major titles this season, the main reason they're in Europa League this season was because of their inconsistent form the previous season that ended them 5th position on EPL table.

That's proof enough that they would not be the favorite in a competition where Liverpool and Leverkusen are playing. If they can't beat PSV or Lens, why would they be favorite against Liverpool or Leverkusen?

You have a point from another point of view. However the thing I wanted to emphasize is that Sevilla are playing really differently when it comes to the Europa League. We have seen so many examples of it in the recent 10 years. They won the title 5 times. This can't be some kind of a coincidence I assume.

Of all the teams in the Europa League, Liverpool will have one of the toughest matches against Leverkusen. I'm not belittling other teams by comparing them to Liverpool, but the way Liverpool are currently performing, they deserve so much praise. Leverkusen is number one in the points table of the bundesliga, while a team like Bayan Munich is not able to create a point gap with Leverkusen which is why Bayan Munich is number two in the points table despite performing well. Leverkusen are performing well and Liverpool are in great form in the Premier League so if these two teams ever meet in the Europa League we could see a very competitive match from these two sides. Only Galatasaray wins that comparison since they have played one more game than Bayer Leverkusen. But I think if Liverpool faced Leverkusen, that game would be a high speed back and forth fight because the two teams are the best when it comes to switching between the defense and the offense. That would be a Europa League highlight, but hopefully it doesn't come too early.
