Until now especially 3 teams have really impressed me with their statistics: Slavia Prague, Liverpool and Leverkusen.

Maybe you will say "What's up with Slavia Prague?"    But they are doing really good in Group G now. 10 goals scored 2 goals conceded in a group with Roma. They even played both games against Roma already and they are the leader with 9 points. As for Leverkusen and Liverpool they are already doing really great. I see both of them as the biggest title contenders. Slavia Prague for a title challenge? I wouldn't expect it at all of course.

For me, there are only two teams in this group phase that are ideal as strong candidates. We can already guess that it is none other than Liverpool and Leverkusen. However, so far, only Leverkusen has appeared consistently in both the domestic league and this competition. As for Slavia Prague, I doubt they will be able to make it far into the next stages. However, their chances of qualifying for this group phase and even becoming group winners are wide open. I think if Mourinho didn't use his defense against Slavia Prague, Roma could have beaten them even in an away game.

Apart from that, several teams that are likely to drop out of the Champions League have begun to appear, although they are still difficult to predict. However, several teams that failed in the Champions League will give color to this competition in the race for the title. Also, there is another English team that cannot be underestimated, namely Brighton. De Zerbi's squad is very difficult to predict. Not infrequently, when this team plays against stronger opponents, Brighton is always able to keep up.

Another team in the same group as Brighton, namely Marseille. At least, their chances of qualifying for the round of 16 are quite big, especially since they are in first place in Group B. The strongest game that Atalanta played so far in the Europa League was definitely the one against Sporting Lisbon. They won it 2-1 in Portugal and they were on par with them for 90 minutes. I thought that the game will be harder than that as the Portuguese team is tough to beat at home, but this was one game when Atalanta managed to show their full potential. Their season in Serie A is more like average so far I would say as they couldn't win any of the important games against the stronger opponents from the upper part of the table. But they are one team to watch in the Europa League given the performances they showed there.

@ILuckyGuyI for me Liverpool performance is more shocking because I never expected them to fight for this title but so far they have shown that they’re very serious about winning this competition. However I wonder if at some stage they’ll stop bothering to win this competition because they have a big chance of winning the premier league hence I feel that they’ll target winning more premier league matches than winning the Europa League matches.

Comparing Atalanta's performance in the Italian Serie A league and in the European league, of course it cannot be the same because these tournaments are different competitions, but so far Atalanta is still performing well in these two competitions. In my opinion, Atalanta's performance this season and last season is almost the same as last season. Atalanta finished in 5th place while currently Atalanta is also in 5th place in Serie A and the possibility of advancing to the top can still be achieved because the season is still long but so far Atalanta's performance is still quite good both in the Italian league and in the European league.

It is possible that Atalanta can qualify for the next round because Atalanta has much higher points than the others and the next match Atalanta will playing at home against Sporting, of course this is a big advantage for Atalanta to maintain its full points.

So true. Atalanta only needs to get 1 point to ensure they can qualify from the group stage. Currently, only 1 club seems to have confirmed that they will qualify for the next stage, namely Leverkusen in Group H. But Atalanta in Serie A is also not that bad. Or you could even say they are still quite good because currently Atalanta is in 5th place in the Serie A standings. But it seems like Atalanta seems to be playing more comfortably in the European League. So I agree that Atalanta's performance in the Europa League looks much more convincing.

well, this is what I am thinking right now, even though Leverkusen looks very competitive, but if Sevilla doesn't qualify for the UCL and has to move to the european league, the situation will definitely be different and we all know which team has the most european league trophies and its only Sevilla who has more. has a lot of experience and has the right strategy to get the european league title and if Sevilla has to move to this competition it looks like Leverkusen and Liverpool will find stronger challengers.

Ajax team is very weak this season. I didn't expect this  to do well in the Europa League. Because of this, Ajax  is performing terribly  in the Eredivisie league this season. They  have won only 3 out of  11 matches and the team is 12th i n the points table. And with such  poor performances against Marseille and Brighton,  their chances of performing well against them were slim.

I expected  to see Marseille and Brighton  at the top of the points  table. But my guess was that Brighton would top the table. However, Brighton is 1 point behind Marseille. I am looking forward to watching the second leg of Brighton vs Marseille.

After having terrible time in early round of the Dutch League and Europa League now they are facing consequences and have early exited from the Europa League as they fail to win any game and in last two games against Brighton they concede four goals with not able to score any goal.

Next game against Marseille in France is also not easy with group leaders are in good form in this competition even they are also having problems in domestic league, but things are surely good for the AEK Athens and Marseille to qualify from this group.

In domestic league they have some chance for better spot even at the top PSV and Feyenoord both are doing impressive and will not allow them to have anything better for the top ranks.

After four rounds we have few teams which are able to stay at the top and have strong case for the qualification into next round and mostly are from the big European leagues as their quality and performance is surely having big difference from teams which are competing with them after having good performance into their domestic leagues but still not able to give any strong challenge as it's never been easy for them to compete with their available sources.

Atlanta already having 10 points from their last four games and now needed a draw for the staying at the top of this group Sorting CP could be other team and Sturm Graz will be dropped to Conference league as they have one win against another minor club in this group.

Atalanta's performance in the Europa League is quite good. They won three out of four matches. Played well in every match. Even then I thought sporting would try their best to go top of the points table. But after a 2-1 defeat against Atalanta, their chances of going top of the table ended. Atalanta, Leverkusen and Liverpool are considered to be the favorites for the Europa League title so far. I look forward to seeing which teams qualify from the Champions League to the Europa League.

These all are having impressive run in early games but after four matches we have only Bayer Leverkusen which is having 12 points and guaranteed top spot into their group even few others are also having better performance and chances for the leading but last loses are creating some delay into their leads chances in group stages matches.

We have surprises into few matches, but many teams are doing good, and we have no chance for any big upset into next few games as well but who is going through into last eight it's never been easy as in February we will have teams from the Champions League will also join them and this will bring good changes into this league for the final result.

Real Betis only needs 1 more win to qualify from group C and their next opponent is Sparta Prague. Actually, the difference in points between these two teams is quite different from 5 points and in the previous meeting, Real Betis lost to Sparta Prague. This should be a place for revenge for the previous defeat and even though this is an away match, Real Betis will definitely still be favored to win. However, if Sparta Prague loses this match then they will lose the opportunity to become runners up in the group and that place will belong to Rangers. I can't wait to bet on this fight but it's still quite a long way off about 2 weeks from now.

It cannot be denied that Brighton performance was quite good, even Ajax was unable to stop the flow of the ball when Brighton players pressed their defense. In midfield, the same thing often happens, Brighton with the collaboration of Mitoma and Ansu Fati is able to disrupt the opponent's defense. In the first half, when Ansu Fati had a chance and was out of control, the advantage could be put to good use. There was nothing surprising in the second half, especially as the second goal made the Ajax players mentally down.

So the question is simple, in five years, do you see Ajax being better than Brighton? I can see that for sure, and that is the important part. Consistency is the key in sports, and a team that is consistently good, could always have bad years, and a team that rarely ever does good, could end up having a blast season. We will see Brighton get worse, and Ajax get better.

Talking about the next 5 years is quite difficult, because Brighton current achievements cannot be underestimated in producing talented young players who are now pursuing careers at big clubs. We know that Ajax itself is no stranger to the birth of top players who graduated from there, but can Ajax current management respond to the quality of its players in the past?

However, if I consider the group as a whole, the fact is that Marseille and Bayer Leverkusen also still unbeaten so far. Also even greater is about Bayer Leverkusen, because Bayer Leverkusen managed to win in all matches, while Atalanta had one draw and Marseille had two draws. Ajax team has faced a dire crisis this season. As we have seen in previous seasons, they would sell the most talented player in the squad, then they would be able to find young talented players to strengthen their squad. But this season's scenario is completely different. We have never expected a team like Ajax to perform as poorly as Ajax have been performing in the Eredivisie league since the start of the season. Ajax's main weakness is their poor defence. Eredivisie league leaders PSV have conceded just 5 goals in 12 matches, while Ajax have conceded 24 goals in 11 matches. If the coach can't tighten up the team's defence, I don't expect Ajax to do well this season.

I think Laverkusen will secure perfect points in this group phase, and the remaining two matches in the future are likely to be wiped out with a win. I thought Liverpool would be unbeatable before, but unexpectedly they lost points on matchday 4 against Toulouse, but for me Klopp squad still deserves to be the favorite.

On the other hand, there are two unbeaten clubs apart from Laverkusen, Marsielle and Atalanta, but both clubs failed to pick up perfect points. Slavia Praha also cannot be underestimated, Mourinho squad must admit that their strengths are quite balanced after beating each other.

That's right when teams from the Champions League join the competition again, the competition will automatically become more intense. For now we only see a few teams that are favorites, in the future it will clearly be very different when the competition enters the quarter-finals and semifinals.

This season was probably the worst that Ajax Amsterdam is going through. I thought that after their two wins in the league this could be the moment where they can turn everything around, but it isn't happening. The loss against Brighton and now also the draw against Almere in the last minute of the game is another setback instead of a turnaround. I believe that this season will have consequences for several more seasons. Usually Ajax is a real talent factory, but when they don't play in the Champions League, they are no as attractive anymore for young players.

Yeah truly this season has been the worst season for Ajax, because irrespective of how they were not too perfect last season but can never be compares with there performance this season because there last season was better and they were more in a good form than now because they were able to win most of there numerous matches.

But I don't know what has gone wrong with the club because it seems they are moving from better performance to worst performance, checking there last 13 matches you will see that they only win 2 matches out of 13 games and lose 7 matches, this is there worst performance ever, imagine as big as Ajax that normally play well in every season is now struggling to win a match, however is very clear that they are not going far this season so perhaps they should go and check themselves to know were there poor performance is coming from in other for them to be more prepared as they are coming back next season.
