Romeo Lukaku and Dybala both are good but sadly now things are not favourable for them and most chances they have to search for new club after end of this season because after sacking of Mourinho situation is changed.
The flow of attacks from the Roma midfield is not very good which makes this a little troublesome because in some conditions we often see Dybala and Lukaku who are struggling to find the ball even though their job is as a finisher even though Lukaku can still be said to be quite good but it is still a little less because of their conditions which are still not too possible due to lack of support.
In addition, Mou's scheme is also not very supportive because Mou still likes the traditional way of football where they prefer to hold back rather than all out in attack and prefer long passes which actually backfire for them.

The problem with Rome is ROme itself, Mourinho do a magnificient job in this years making them and putting them against in the radar of europe, but yes his alst season was not so good in term of performance and with a much more capable team than in other years, so for that reason Rome directives can be a little angry, the problem is...... De Rossi as coach?Huh
I think this is a bad decision taken by As Roma. This will not produce results either in Serie A or in the European leagues after sacking Mourinho and replacing De Rossi. Last season, Mourinho managed to take As Roma to the Europa League final even though they lost to Sevilla, but after Mourinho's dismissal in the middle of the road, I don't think As Roma's journey in the Europa League will be long, maybe in the round of 16, As Roma's journey will have to end.

The reason is, Roma fired Mourinho because they wanted to build a long-term project. It's crazy how teams talk about projects, development and building, but that's never the case for Mourinho. 2.5 years is not enough. He loves Roma and the fans love him. The squad is not good and relies too much on Dybala. It was honestly heartbreaking to see him go.
I really feel for him getting sack from Roma when he already felt the he has gained the love of the fans.He was really friendly with the fans, and they loved what he was doing at the club.I know the team has a standard that they expected from Morinho, but because he has had that bad luck and bad record at the different places he has managed,it still follows him.I really Feel for him, maybe he may think of retiring because of this.He must really feel devastated for having this sack record again.I hope another club hires him immediately. I will wait to see the kind of coach that Roma will hire after they've sacked Morinho, whether he can do more better than Morinho,or he will be worst than him.

Many say that Jose Mourinho's coaching system is old school and has not been updated, which means the club is not improving properly, but I don't think that's the case. Jose Mourinho is a very experienced coach in the European leagues so the strategy he implements will definitely work well, but perhaps because of the potential of his players. not very adequate so his coaching looks ordinary, different from when he was still at Chelsea, at that time Chelsea had extraordinary players competing in the English league which made them play very strong, different from now Chelsea is full of young players with little experience.

Yes, Jose Mourinho has been with Roma for a long time but was only able to win the European Conference League title in his first season coaching and many said that when he entered his 3rd season the club that Jose Mourinho built would not run well and it is true that this season Roma is not having a good season with Jose Mourinho, I think if Roma doesn't achieve the results they hope for this season, maybe Jose Mourinho won't have the opportunity to continue coaching at Roma.
Jose is one coach with vast experience and yes implementing those experiences aren’t a big deal for Jose because he can real do that well especially when you watch with his time with Chelsea, Real and even Man United who were at their worst. Experienced and quality players will be better to help implement his philosophies. Well he’s achieved an European trophy while at Roma and gotten to an European final but without positive and effective changes the club won’t achieve good success and that’s what he’s suffering currently.

Well I would agree that his coaching philosophy yes it’s quite old and also yes the players available might not be able to match the philosophy he has. Times are changing and also improvements is one factor to keep you going through it all.

I don't want to gloat, but let's see what Roma achieves after Mourinho. In general, neutral fans in recent years remembered this team only thanks to Mourinho - first his high-profile arrival in Rome, then the Conference League title, then the Europa League final. Does anyone believe that Roma will achieve more in the next three years? If so, he is a great optimist.
I don’t wish Roma anything bad, on the contrary, I’m more for the underdogs and I’m always happy when someone moves the big four in Serie A, but I don’t think that Roma under any new coach without serious investments will be able to achieve more than they achieved under Mourinho.

Mourinho's vast experience is a key starting point on his ability to implement his experiences that has been evident in successful stints with Chelsea, Real Madrid, and Manchester United, especially during challenging periods for the latter. The success of his coaching style often relies on a squad that aligns well with his tactical approach. His achievements at Roma, including a European trophy and reaching a final, shows the positive impact he has had on the club, despite the current challenges.

But the club didnt achieve sustained success that shows the need for adaptation and evolution in response to the changing landscape of football. He needs indeed to have flexibility and adjustment for his coaching philosophy. Staying relevant in modern football requires constant innovation and openness to new approaches.

Those things make me disagree with it. Roma was taking a very big risk by sacking mourinho to leave from the club. The club has been always forcing him to deliver good results with very minimum budget. Mou has been successful in managing so many clubs.
I think that there is possibility for newcastle to hire him as a new coach. Eddie howe has been performing so badly recently and newcastle needs to find a suitable coach to manage the club. I can only see mourinho as the most suitable coach to manage club.

I hope newcastle will consider him to be a coach . It will be also increasing the tension in the premier league since mourinho will be entering into the competition against so many great coaches in the premier league.
Newcastle really needs to get a new coach as soon as possible and mourinho has been available to coach the club again this season. This is time for newcaslte to make it different. I meant that if newcaslte has been performing very well but it has not yet formed winning mentality.

Agree. It won't be easy for De Rossi to improve the performance of AS Roma in a short time. I also doubt AS Roma will last a long time in Europa League with a new coach (De Rossi). De Rossi has no record to win international competitions like UCL or UEL as a manager (coach). Moreover, AS Roma isn't in a good form, they are in very unstable performance lately. He needs time to evaluates many things in AS Roma, it should take time to do it. With this matter, I assume he will experience the same thing as Walter Mazzarri.

You're right. It seems AS Roma to leave UEL soon. It is a bit impossible to see them in the final UEL again this season. It is too hurry to replace Mourinho in the middle of the competition, ideally AS Roma management should fire Mourinho when the season ends.

~snip~
The Europa League has been around for a long time and there must be some clubs that have won in the past and faced difficulties and relegation because if you look at the list of champions at Wikipedia there are at least a few clus like Ipswich Town, Parma and Schalke who have indeed won in the past and currently they are in the second caste in their respective competitions because Parama is in Serie B, Schalke in Bundesliga B and Ipswich Town is in the Championship  competition at the moment.

But that was a long time ago and maybe it can also be repeated because there are several factors where in its prime a club can be strong and over time it will fade and only a few club can survive to be in the big competition. even we may also know that in the Champions League alone there are many like this because even Nottingham Forest can be said to be superior to the acquisition of trophies compared to other big clubs because they can get 2 trophies in their prime.
Yes, of course there are, but they are the bottom teams that are not very popular, even now some of these team only play in the lower leagues and have difficulty reaching the main competition.
Moreover, this team has also been champions of the European League for quite long time and after quite number of big teams have emerged and really have good playing quality, this has enabled every competition to be dominated by these big team.
English football has developed very well and many teams from England have actually been able to win various championship trophies, but over time all countries have developed football very well, such as Spain, Germany, Italy and also France.
Some of these countries have main competitions and also lower competitions but they also have large teams that successfully compete in every European competition, of course this will be very tight competition.
It just that the European League can only be participated in by teams from the main competitions such as the Bundesliga, English League, La Liga, Serie A, Ligue 1.

We know that who de rossi is and it think that having him to be a new coach for roma will not even change the situation. I meant that if situation is not even conditional this time with so many people were doubting mourinho to stay for another year in the club.
Mourinho has become the only coach who has brough roma to the conference league trophy and runner up europa league last season. Im doubting de rossi to have good performance like mourinho.

As roma never approves its coach to spend a lot of money to buy the new players. Im also questioning myself whether the club didn't really have money or what.
Roma is one of richest football teams, even though they're currently not have a good financial, but their have big valuations. Both Lazio and Napoli weren't include in the list, but they have better results compared to Roma, so it means Roma is a bad team. Yeah Mourinho is an old school coach, however De Rossi is a terrible coach because he was manage SPAL 2013 which play in Serie B, but he make this team relegated to Serie C.

De Rossi is just a senior and respected ex Roma player, not a good coach.
This is also what I think De Rossi is respected at AS Roma but it is not a guarantee that he will be able to make Roma even better than when Mourinho was there, and firing Mourinho or keeping him is a difficult choice because there is no guarantee that there will be changes in a short time.

Without Mourinho at Roma, it looks like we can cross them out of the list of favorites in the European league, because one of the factors that Roma can be as successful as last season is Mourinho, not because of good player material.
Luckily for De Rossi, his presence in Roma will start three matches against weak teams Verona, Salernitana and Cagliari, and the real test will be when facing Inter Milan and Feyenoord, and facing Feyenoord their chances will lower because there are doubts about De Rossi.

The club needs to adapt with the new coach and he has no experience like jose mourinho in managing the club. Being called as a legend is not even giving guarantee if he will able to perform even better than mourintho. Let's see that how good he will be in managing the club.
I have no expectation for him caused by i do know that if de rossi lack of experience in managing a club. Im doubting what considerations taken by the club to take him as a new appointment and i think this is obviously a blunder from roma to kick someone who deeply understand about the club with amateur coach which has no achievement in the football. You will be seeing that roma is going to be another flop and then it's only matter of time roma becomes average team under de rossi.

You're right. It seems AS Roma to leave UEL soon. It is a bit impossible to see them in the final UEL again this season. It is too hurry to replace Mourinho in the middle of the competition, ideally AS Roma management should fire Mourinho when the season ends
Roma is not a strong candidate to win UEL and this club is playing like shit. Slavia praha is far better than roma and people are doing it right by said that if liverpool or leverkusen are strongest candidate to win europa league this season.
I personally feel very disappointed with the result from this announcement. I thought that mourinho would stay for another season but i was wrong.

Who's now the lucky one between the club that relieved José Mourinho of his duties or the coach that have contributed quite incredible records by pinning AS Roma to becoming the first team to win the European conference league title, atleast he's able to lead them to victories in the past season. AS Roma and José Mourinho have parted ways and Mourinho will surf his way to handle an elite team because he's gradually become a burden to himself, checking his sacking records have improved. What's happening to an experienced coach like José Mourinho?

You are right, Jose Mourinho is indeed a coach with a who has a wealth of experience, so his experience in the European leagues can no longer be doubted when he coaches big clubs. That's why Roma appointed him as head coach and it is believed that he can improve Roma's performance which is usually mediocre become be extraordinary. However, it turns out that Jose Mourinho cannot improve Roma's performance significantly from season to season and it tends to remain the same as the previous season. Even in the last 2 seasons Roma only finished in 6th position and Jose Mourinho failed to put Roma in the Champions League zone.

Yes, maybe that's why Jose Mourinho can't improve Roma's performance because times keep changing. If you don't keep up with the times, you will be increasingly left behind. Jose Mourinho must have a current strategy where his players can follow the directions he gives when dealing with their opponents on the field a better strategy than the old school strategy.

You're right. It seems AS Roma to leave UEL soon. It is a bit impossible to see them in the final UEL again this season. It is too hurry to replace Mourinho in the middle of the competition, ideally AS Roma management should fire Mourinho when the season ends.
Even though Roma performance in Serie A is not as consistent as expected, Mourinho influence is still very big when Roma plays in European competitions. I also feel the same way, Roma progress in the Europa League will soon end because they are currently being evaluated after Mourinho departure. Roma immediately appointed De Rossi as the new coach after firing Mourinho, but it seems that Roma is not too sure about their decision to appoint De Rossi as Jose Mourinho replacement coach. He is only contracted until June and his coaching capacity is still poor in experience.

It is not very easy for de rossi to develop AS roma into a strong team. de rossi's coaching experience is still minimal. only 1 year as a coach, he also coached a small SPAL team. that too only played in serie B. that too at the end of the season was relegated to serie C and ended up being fired by SPAL management. so the track record of training what else is in good performance is not there.

Daniele De Rossi is not an experienced coach nor is he an accomplished coach, so it is very likely that he will fail again as Roma coach.
I am sure that Roma management's decision will be a correction in the future, Jose Ourinho is a coach who raised Roma's performance even with limited players and when Roma management now fires him and replaces him with a coach who has no experience, that is really a big mistake in my opinion.

And this is the benchmark for Roma in the Europa League. So far, Roma has been very feared on the Europa League stage, not apart from the role of Jose Mourinho, but now I think that is all over and I am quite pessimistic about Roma's journey in the Europa League this season, I don't think they will will go further.

The situation is fifty-fifty now because this could be an advantage or it could make things worse for Roma.
Roma currently have players who are still quite good, it's just that for the problem of changing coaches this will definitely cause a new transition from differences in schemes and plans from Mou to De Rosi.
He already knows and understands the characteristics of Roma but not necessarily it will match the players he has now so this can still be good if De Rossi can immediately click and have extraordinary chemistry just like Xavi did for Barcelona and Xabi for Bayern in the early season but this can also backfire where changing coaches can be the wrong decision just like when Potter and Lampard became replacement coaches at Chelsea it made them worse san not visa bertaha in the position they deserved.

Respected and? Is that enough if he cannot do better than Jose Mourinho? Lol I would love to see his experience in the coaching game. The management must be really inspired by Xabi Alonso, they also wanted to explore and work with a young coach, the season still has good number of weeks ahead, it's either they do better or go down sinking below.

At least when I e looks back at what Jose Mourinho has achieved, he made great memories with em. The club at some points didn't provide him with the lads he wants.
He got to the Finals last year and also won them the UEFA Conference League Competition during his first season.

Feyenoord anyways was a team Jose Mourinho would have defeated because he's done it before, the plans they had for the top four just didn't get actualized. Godspeed with Jose Mourinho in the next phase. ( Saudi Ways? )
Xabi Alonso is really doing well with his Leverkusen side especially as the club’s got confidence in him and are willing to give him necessities and get the signings done. This is one thing that adds to the criteria of a successful coach, getting your required signings and getting the desired results with them. And to be honest Xabi has proven that he's ready to make a name for himself as one of the most successful managers in times to come.

Jose tried to get this club to her first European trophy in his first season and the 2nd season lost in an European final. This season the clubs seems to be struggling especially as they’re not achieving credible resultss to help them secure the top 4. Well Jose still has whAt it takes to be very successful especially when given the necessary signings he wants and I think he’ll move to Saudi and establish himself there.

Mourinho comes across as outdated, as uninterested in his club. I think he decided to stay with Roma at the beginning of the season because he didn't want to look like everyone else who left their clubs for the money only. I am thinking about Gerrard here who made a bad move so early in his career.

I can't imagine how Xabi Alonso would accept an offer from Saudi Arabia within the next decade or so. He would damage his career. Mourinho is older and I think now the time has come to go there if he wants to.

As for Bayer Leverkusen and Xabi Alonso, I think they will need some luck from now on as they have the highest ambitions, but are not affected by injuries and absences. If this gets worse for any reason, I wonder how Bayer Leverkusen can still manage to bring on a top 11 to compete with the best in the Europa League?

I didn't expect AS Roma's decision this time really fired Mourinho, who in fact has had a big influence on Roma, even though they haven't achieved the expected results, namely competing in the UCL but at least with Mourinho, AS Roma has wons the European Conference title and reached the final of the European League even though they failed to win trophy. But I thinking the decision to fire Mourinho in the middle of a competitive European league is the wrong decision because I'm not sure the new coach can do anything better than Mourinho. And I doubt Roma can qualify for the play-off rounds when they faced Feyenoord.
