One of things I'm curious about this season is whether De Rossi will manage to carry Roma to the finale just as Mourinho did in the previous season. Maybe things didn't went well for Mourinho in the Serie A back then but he was still doing quite nice in European tournaments. For European competitions Roma was lucky having Mourinho this because Mourinho is tournament specialist and during his career Mourinho have already to gets Europa League, Champion league and the latest is Conference League trophy and total he has gets 5 trophies from those competitions and only a few managers who can do that and his achievement too in Roma probably can hard to achieved by other managers because so far only Mourinho who can able to bringing Roma to reach the final matches from 2 different competitions in Europa 2 season in a row but after Mourinho leave some people indeed wondering whether can De Rossi able to bringing Roma reach to the final match or not

People know in Europa League has Liverpool and Leverkusen and these teams so far the strong candidate for the trophy but don't mean other teams just like Roma have no chances to gets the trophy because although Roma changing manager but they are the finalist of last season and about De Rossi indeed so far Roma under him is really impressive but De Rossi still lack of experience compared to other teams and if Roma want to reach to the final match their journey will not be easy because they have to eliminate Milan and in the semifinal too Roma will facing the winner of match between Leverkusen vs West Ham so De Rossi have to hard struggling to realized this target

We admit that De Rossi has made so many changes at Roma since Mourinho was sacked, and so far Roma have not really had a balanced opponent before they meet Milan in the Europa League, the game may be like a Serie A match, but still the mentality of the coach and squad will be very tested when they have to play in the quarter-finals of the Europa League.

So far I have been quite impressed with Roma's ability in their domestic matches, yes Roma can look very impossible to compete for the top 4 previously but at the moment I think their chances are wide open.

In terms of meeting record, AS Roma doesn't have a good meeting record in the last few seasons when facing AC Milan, but that doesn't mean they won't be able to beat Ac Milan. If you say they can beat Leverkusen, why do you say something different, you even say it's impossible for them to beat Ac Milan? because after all, this match has not yet been played and when it is like that, the opportunity for AS Roma is still quite open, although I also agree in saying that their opportunity is not bigger than AS Roma.

even though in terms of H2H Milan are very favored in this match, the fact is that after the new coach arrived, Roma performance has improved very significantly and currently in domestic matches Roma is able to get very consistent results without being defeated.

Roma was going through a bad situation with Mourinho before De Rossi took over the team, but I believe that they were able to express themselves better and reflect the tactics on the field better with De Rossi. Daniele De Rossi is a coach who knows the team well and I think he will show us matches at a higher level. They are in a race with Bologna for the UCL.

You are right. When De Rossi becomes the coach of AS Roma, they seem to perform better. I can admit that AS Roma has a great improvement in their performance. However, I'm not really sure that their current performance is enough to beat AC Milan. Honestly, I still assume that AC Milan is the favorite to win the match. You can see the position of AC Milan in Serie A, they are in the 2nd place of Serie A standings. AC Milan succeeds to overtake Juventus in the runner-up position. I think it simply indicated that AC Milan is the 2nd strongest team in Serie A.

Agree. De Rossi has bring a positive improvement for AS Roma. However, they must fight with AC Milan in the quarter final of UEL. AC Milan performance looks to be more stable than AS Roma. AC Milan also has a stronger squad, they are one of the favorite team to be in the final round of UEL. Although many people assume that De Rossi is capable to lead AS Roma to beat AC Milan, I personally doubt it. He still has not enough experience to win the matches in an international competition like Europa League.

I think it is quite true that DeRossi has significantly contributed to AS Roma performance and his impact on the team's standing in Serie A and Europa League is commendable. However, evaluating a teams overall quality based on individual players can be misleading, the performance of a football club depends on various factors including tactics, teamwork and the coach. I am certain he is already working towards achieving that and with how far he has come with the club, he will get the chance to help them achieve that- first, finishing at top four of the Serie A and secondly, reaching the final of the Europa League competition. The earlier seems to be more easier for him to achieve than the later. They’re just three points away from their close opponent on fourth place and eight point away from third place Juventus. It may seem so hard for them to reach the third position but the fourth place is almost certain for them to be able to be replaced.

In the Europa league, they need to remain focus, consistent and try their best to reach the finals as many top teams are still in the competition that will give them a tough time to reach the finals of the competition. If De Rossi really wants to keep his work and get an extension of contract, he has to make the team be at their best and achieve either of this two by end of the season.

I do not think that it will happen, last year Roma did managed to play against some very good teams there is no doubt about that, but Roma has to beat Milan, Leverkusen and Liverpool depending on which one of them they will face or not, that's way too much. I am not saying that they will face all, but they may face at least one or possibly more, and Mourinho never had to face any team like that, which is important.

We need to make sure that we do not expect the worlds from them, let them be and there won't be any problems at all. I hope that we are going to end up with a much better result eventually, but we just need to accept the way it is right now without having to worry about anything else at all. Roman performance has no doubt increased and they have really done well and I think they can actually go far in this competition if they can keep up with the performance but even at that it's not easy for them to pave their way to the trophy because they are alot of good teams that also have more standard and playing strength that them example will be teams like Liverpool and Bayern Leverkusen but one thing about football thats fun is that no one can be too certain about q particular team winning a title till the whole matches are decided .

Daniele De Rossi was a player I admire so much, I could also vividly recall De Rossi performance back then as being a fantastic defensive midfielder in As Roma and both on the country side and who played a significant role in club and country and in helping Italy won the 2006 FIFA World Cup, And now as coach I kind of think his bringing that quality in him to his coaching career.

Yes, Roma has high hopes of continuing to progress as their performance improves under De Rossi's control. De Rossi still lacks experience and the match against AC Milan will really determine the extent to which he is able to compete as a coach who has a bright future in Europe. I also wouldn't say it's easy for Roma to qualify for the Europa League final this season, but they certainly have a chance worth fighting for. Why don't you trust Leverkusen? I think, when we look at the season in general, Leverkusen's performance is even better than Liverpool. Some people underestimate the German league, but there are really strong teams. Being undefeated there until this part of the season is not something everyone can do. Even Bayern couldn't achieve such an undefeated streak in their best seasons. I think Leverkusen's chances of reaching the final are greater than Liverpool's. They are one of the fittest teams in Europe at the moment. It would be different if it was the Champions League, but in the Europa League they look by far the best.

If you watch Milan last game, you will know that Rome will not have their way to beat Milan because they have defenders that will hodl that defense strong until they achieve their goal in this season and, their coach still have more skills to impact to his players to continue performing through out the season.

I know that game can change at anytime but it will be difficult for this game to change for the favour of Rome because I know it will not be easy for Rome strikers to make their coach happy in this game and the Rome players will know that they meet strong team.
