It is actually quite normal to doubt Leverkusen after seeing the way they performed against Qarabag. Yeah maybe they eliminated their opponent anyway but it was very difficult for them you know. They were able to beat Qarabag 3-2 in the second leg after losing 0-2 until the 72nd minute. They really have a good winning mentality. It ended dramatically after Leverkusen scored 2 goals in the 90+ minute. But I'm sure they will perform better when they play against West Ham in the quarter-finals.

In this season we have Bayer Leverkusen vs Qarabag four times with 3 times won by Leverkusen and one draw mean things are normal with after losing group matches Qarabag done good homework and create problems for them in knockout round matches even they lost but still done good job and surely now here we have to praise Leverkusen which done impressive job and qualify for the next round with now they are going to face well organize side West Ham which is having good experience and quality which can create problems for them Leverkusen and things will be not easy for them to have win in this round.

Even Xabi Alonso done good work, and they are ready for all opponents due to their superior mentality and consistency but now from here we can say it's anybody game home advantage is going to be vital for both sides and which will be able to have good difference will go with advantage.

I don't know why you rely so much on history/previous games. It seems to me that if it comes to the game Bayer - Roma, the bookmakers will quote Bayer as 1.2-1.3, that is, as a clear favorite. Eh, I've seen a lot of matches where the better side failed to win or even lose the match in cup competition, so dismissing them way too early is never a good call. I mean there are tons of comebacks like Liverpool vs Barca, Barca vs PSG, etc that show how a match can be affected by many things, not as simple as "better players = win". We could argue that Qarabag is not that weak, they managed to score 4 goals against Leverkusen after all. I mean Liverpool also failed to win many "easy matches" this season. The game is still open.

We have a history of surprises and huge upsets in soccer with UEFA is also had special romance with these things related to unpredictable so here if we will have any shocking result this is going to be normal for the all like we have in last round when Atlético Madrid won against Inter Milan which was third favorite team for the title so currently if we will have few more surprises this all could be part of the business which is going around in this event.

I don't want to be quick to judging what the possible outcome of the game could be but I want to hope they both get to meet in the finals and at that point they will be able to properly throw their weight and whosever wins be considered the champion and for Leverkusen it will be a record even if they don't get to win but they stayed unbeaten through the league games until the finals which can be considered an achievement.

Roma is not up to Liverpool's standard and they are not up to Leverkusen’s standard, I am not expecting to do something special in the Europa League. The new manager De Rossi is trying his best to change the game pattern of play to his taste so that the team can perform well against next season.

Leverkusen started this year great and they are still continuing that way. I think Leverkusen can reach the final in the European league. They are a great team and they are undefeated in the Bundesliga. If they continue like this, the possibility of championship continues everywhere.

We all are aware it will end with Liverpool winning this season, every other teams are on their best, still and about to put in their best but requires much more qualities to help them face a team like Liverpool. Don’t be quickly conclusive in matches like this. Bayern Leverkusen could have suffered in the hands of Qarabag before getting that victory and that doesn’t mean they’ll do the same when they face other clubs in the Europa League. What is important is that you should be consistent and continue to win your matches, how you struggle to win the match won’t be checked after winning. Liverpool will be a big opponent and a strong one for Bayern Leverkusen to beat but it doesn’t mean they can’t beat them. If they can absorb pressure and strike back by winning the game later, that is more important than all the pressures they might have faced in the match before winning it. The winners of the Europa League competition can’t be decided now, let’s wait to see the teams that can even make it to the finals first.

I agree with you. The match against Qarabag was one of Leverkusen's toughest matches this season. But I think there are many factors that influence the match. Sometimes a team can perform poorly. So we can't judge Leverkusen from just one match. Liverpool can use the tactics used by Qarabag to expose Leverkusen's weaknesses, but Leverkusen can also look at several of Liverpool's matches in the EPL to see their weaknesses. I also really like the changes that have occurred in the Roma squad, especially in the playing patterns or strategies used by De Rossi for Roma. And actually the strategy used by De Rossi reminds me of the attack pattern used by Girona in Laliga which even succeeded in causing strong teams to lose. Even in the league, Girona beat Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. And yeah that's a great achievement. And I think De Rossi will also be able to make Roma get a better level of play and it's possible that Milan will also have big problems when facing Roma. Milan - Roma should already be considered as a really close matchup though. Unlike the gap between their championship odds I see them having near equal chance. Roma are much better as you have also mentioned. Milan are a really challenging opponent for them here maybe but this time they have a bigger chance with De Rossi.

Leverkusen are of course quite the favourite against West Ham on paper. However seeing them having big difficulties against Qarabag for some reason tells me to give West Ham a chance with a small bet. I'm doing this just for fun so let's see what happens.
