So far the semi-final between Leverkusen and Milan is likely to be very exciting compared to Liverpool's match which may face Benfica in the other semi-final later, if later Benfica will meet Liverpool of course Liverpool will be the favorite to win the game even if maybe Marseille will be Liverpool's opponent, I think at the moment Liverpool have everything they need to reach the Europa League final and even Maybe win it, because in my opinion the experience, mentality, quality of players possessed by Liverpool at the moment is still better than other teams that are still in the quarterfinals of the Europa League.

While on the other hand of course Milan and Leverkusen will be an early final in my opinion when they meet in the semi-finals later, but for sure the match will be full of prestige and also high intensity because indeed both teams have so far been able to give many surprises with their consistent performances, I think when Leverkusen and Milan meet maybe we will all consider Leverkusen as superior,  But I think Milan will be a worthy opponent for Leverkusen and I think Milan will be able to beat Leverkusen when they are not favourites in that game.

Maybe you are right if comparing 2 different competitions, these are two things that we cannot compare, but here we will definitely see their performance in the domestic league which they play more regularly, from there we can see how they perform, even though in the end it is could be wrong. But what is clear is that now Leverkusen is showing a good performance in the Europa League, and they are even unbeaten from the group phase, this is a positive signal even though we see the gaps they showed when they faced Qarabag in the round of 16.
Leverkusen are excellent, I praise them for their good performances so far, both in the Bndesliga and in the Europa League. The desire to win in the AS Roma team significantly increased after the club sacked their former manager Jose Mourinho and appointed Daniele De Rossi as their current manager but how the young Italian manager was able to improve the performance of the team in a very short period of time have remained a big surprise to me. Before he took over the managerial position at the club, many people including me would've thought that eliminating As Roma shouldn't be a big deal to AC Milan but considering how good Roma have been since Daniele De Rossi became their manager, i think it's definitely going to be a difficult game for both teams.
Like you rightly said, the two teams are Italian and knows the strength and weaknesses of each other so I wouldn't be expecting too many goals when the two teams meets each other.
It'll be a interesting two-legged tie for Italian football lovers but if I'm asked if which team will make it to get semi finals, I'll go with AC Milan even when I know that it'll definitely not be an encounter for them

I'm still thinking about which games I'm going to bet on. I see Liverpool's game against Atalanta as being a game that I could bet on Liverpool, looking at Liverpool's performance in the Premier League this season I think it's a good performance, even if Liverpool are having problems beating Manchester United which is a very unstable team, yet Liverpool is a strong team, on the other hand Atalanta is not fighting for the Serie A title, they cannot stay in the top 4 of Serie A and will come into this game with a defeat. But I would talk less about "of course" and how easy it will be that Leverkusen and Liverpool win their games. They will be the favorites on paper, but as I said before AC Milan and Benfica are not same as Qarabak and Sparta. Those are two completely different teams and much harder to play against and from the semifinal on, talking about favorites who will have some easy games is just wrong in my opinion. When you look at AC Milan's performance at the moment, do you think that Leverkusen is a hug favorite in the game if they play against each other? I doubt it if AC Milan can preserve that form for a couple more weeks. Playing in Italy against them will be brutally hard and they know how to play counter attacks.

I would say that Europan normally should be easier than winning at Bundesliga with a team that is not Bayern. But this season is a little different because Liverpool is there too, the team that is trying to win premier league is also at European cup as well.

Considering this situation, we should be considering that Leverkusen will have some tough time getting the win. Doesn't mean that they won't, they could still get a win there, there is no doubt about that at all. However, we need to realize that we can't make any of these teams win without trying too hard on it, we should consider that as normal. For the Liverpool vs Atalanta match, for me there is nothing to worry about. Because I'm pretty sure that Liverpool will win. But because this is football, performance and luck are sometimes contradictory. So the final result is sometimes very difficult to predict.

Leverkusen are one of most impressive teams in Europe this season and recent forms of two clubs are different too. Leverkusen surely can be considered as stronger and a winner in this pair but West Ham have good attacking power. They can create some challenge against Leverkusen and if best, they can beat Leverkusen and create a biggest shock in Europa League quarter finals. I still believe more in Leverkusen than in West Ham.
