If Leverkusen eventually gets to win the Europa league this season i would not see it as them been lucky because they have proven to be deserving of it and they are Also appearing like they may get to win a trio this season because they are already t the top of the bundesliga with the hop of winning it and same applies to the DF polka in the Germany too of which if they finally gets the Europa then it's a trio.

Liverpool who has been the favorite for most people to win the Europa has gradually get people to loose hope I'm them after they lost to Atlanta because we would have taught they will be able to win Atlanta and make sure they are winning the trophy this season but then sadly they are now giving Atlanta the chances to knocke them out of the league and have a chance to win the trophy but then lets hope they will win.

Leverkusen became the new hope of some people after they established themselves as winners in their domestic league the bundes league, and are now in the quarterfinals, beating West Ham United in leg 1 with a 2-0 result. And we just have to wait for the second leg and I'm pretty sure Leverkusen can win the match against West Ham in the second leg even though it's on West Ham United's home turf, of course people who think that this is their luck are too naive with the efforts made by Xabi Alonso and also the Bayern leverkusen squad, they find it difficult to admit that Xabi really has the capability as a coach today who can bring hope, yes if you can win three championships it can be said to be a treble even if not with the Champion.

Strangely Liverpool are getting praised the worse, we see that Liverpool rise but they themselves break that hope for us, I also did not expect Liverpool to lose to Atalanta, Klopp seems to be losing a lot of trophies this season after failing in the English premier league because of losing to Crystal Palace and losing also in the Europa League by Atalanta, I thought before Klopp's departure would give a present to Liverpool as a winner in one of the leagues to save his last trophy but in fact it was just a hope.

In the Europa League, their only rival seemed to be liverpool, which is also almost eliminated. There they are also the favourites for the cup. And in the Europa League it's much easier for them. Nothing is changing in the EL, I thought everything would be the other way around, that Liverpool would beat Atalanta without problems, and Bayer would have a hard time with West Ham, but this tournament still remains the most unpredictable. If Liverpool had lost with a difference of one goal, they would have had a chance in the return match, but 3 goals is too many, although I still believe that Liverpool is stronger than Atalanta, but beating them away with a difference of three goals is very doubtful.

Yes, that is something Leverkusen deserves if they succeed in becoming champions in the European League this season. They performed extraordinary, even though there were several matches where it looked like they were not very optimal, they were able to recover quickly. Leverkusen have all the capital that allows them to win a title and we know they will never experience defeat.

This is an incredible performance from Xabi Alonso and it's also proving that if club needs only a good coach to help club win the title. I believe with xabi Alonso they will still win the Europa League, because I don't see any club that can stop Leverkusen in the Europa League competition this season now, because even Liverpool fuckup in the first leg against Atlanta and still believe they will still win Liverpool against, I don't believe Klopp anymore even in the league, they are still mistakes because I believe they can't win the league this season again now, he will just leave the club without getting trophy they should just try and win the Europa League but he will be very difficult to win the tittle because now Leverkusen are the favorites of winning the trophy. The chances of Bayer Leverkusen reaching the final of the UEFA Europa League competition I think is very high considering their performance when compared to their opponents in the competition but what I don't know is if they will be able to beat whichever team they'll meet at the final of the competition should they make it to the final.
Bayer Leverkusen is currently leading their quarter tie against West Ham with a 2:0 scoreline and I think they'll win that tie when they travel to England for the second leg of the encounter. They'll meet any team that wins the other tie between AC Milan and AS Roma in the semi finals and I'm very optimistic that Bayer Leverkusen will beat any of those two teams. Liverpool is not a new team. It is still possible to lose an aggregate of 3 goals to Atalanta in the second leg. The result of the first leg against Atalanta was not the expected result, but loyal Liverpool fans are different from fans of other teams who chose to leave the stadium while the match was still in progress.
In a football match, anything can happen, including turning things around when many people think it is impossible.

It's actually going to be the best season for Leverkusen in their history as they have never experienced such before, as they have never had a season like this before, i doubt if they have ever won a duel let alone a trio because it gradually looking like a trio is very much possible for them as they have advanced far into the bundesliga and the Europa aswell as the DFB polka too, Xabi is doing what others couldn't do with Leverkusen all these years.

I think losing 3-0 at Anfield in the UEL was a big shock to Liverpool. This week, they lost at home in the Premier League match. 2 defeats in a row caused great demoralization in the team. That's why their chances in the match against Atalanta are very low.

If Liverpool should put all their mind and soul into the second-leg match against Atlanta, putting it upon themselves to make sure they win Atlanta since the Premier League title might not be possible for them to lift at the end of the season, I am to believe they might come out victorious against Atlanta even though they have 3 goals to equalize back at away match against Atlanta. By the way, they had a better ball possession against Atlanta and also had a better scoring opportunity than Atlanta in the first-leg meeting. The 2nd leg of the Europa League quarter-finals will be a confirmation of the surprise that occurred in the first leg, where in my opinion Milan and Liverpool will most likely be eliminated. Talking about the opportunities for both teams to turn things around, this is still possible, but we realize that it is not an easy job to do. Roma will act as hosts, as will Atalanta, it is clear that the home match will give them an advantage. Although Xhaka did not score many goals this year, he helped consolidate Bayer Leverkusen's midfield. Grimaldo made 12 assists in the league at Bayer Leverkusen. Considering that Wirtz also made 10 assists, you can imagine how effective they were in team play. Xabi put the team game into place for them perfectly. They are like a family now who know each other. The Bundesliga championship is definitely not a coincidence, it is an achievement for them.

I scrazy how in a week or weekend all can change in the world of football, for me before this week i think the oods to become champion of this tournament was clearly in favor of Liverpool and way ahead of the others, but now the favorite contender to win is Leverkusen by far.

Also we have to keep an eye on Atalanta and Rome/Milan i think. The final is only one game and everything can happen there.

Yeah they can focus on the Europa League easier from now on. Xabi Alonso has had 3 titles to win potentially and he has won one of them already. Now there are DFB Pokal and the Europa League left. 

Actually I see DFB Pokal easy to achieve for them as well because of not having a tough opponent. Therefore they need to continue making a really big effort for the Europa League title now. As long as they play like in the first leg of West Ham there is no reason for not to see them as the champions at the end.    In addition even if Liverpool save themselves from this nightmare I still see Leverkusen's chance higher to win the title.

Currently, Leverkusen's consistency had put them in the top contending spots for the Bundesliga title. And it's so satisfying that with just few games games to the end of the season, there has finally been change of hands this season. Definitely they held onto the pressure for a while and for Leverkusen, they were not resilient in pursuing that major aim. Alonso and his squad aren't giving up and weekly they put up a whole different energy towards that trophy race.

 Comparing Xabi's abiliy based on his performances with his team, it'll be fair to admit his superiority in skillset. Leverkusen when Xabi took over had to start from scratch to build up to where they are now. So far Xabi, he has been a good boss and his methods have worked perfectly for Leverkusen. One would wonder how he managed to put up such feat for the team considering the spot he picked them from. It's one quality that can definitely be found in a good manager.
 
 Leverkusen have been impressive in all rounds and it's not surprising that they're now better than some already grounded teams. It only means that Xabi has a unique managing quality which can be of essence in bigger teams too. I believe he's still got good plans for the German team, which will still be manifested good. In the Europa League, there's been top contending teams from the start till the current stage of the contest.

 Even though days back, the playoffs stage was concluded and there we saw few teams earn advancement tickets. Well from the beginning of the tournament, we know that it'll only be the tough teams that'd survive. Also predicting the winner this season would be hard as there are a number of tough teams to pick from. The highest we can do is to just analyze these teams based on their overtime performances this season and bringing that in the picture, the highest probable winner would be Leverkusen, then Liverpool and any other team behind. In essence it's safe to say that if the draws are favourable, then Liverpool would battle with Leverkusen in the final game of the tournament.
