That's really low expectations. I still see them as F4 contenders. And when you see that usual contenders Barca and Real are struggling, everything is possible. Though, Real is getting some pace recently.
BTW, what do you think about change of Efes coach, was it really needed?

Yes unfortunately my expectations aren't very high from Fenerbahçe this season. Because we don't have a credible roster to play big unlike the past seasons. Real Madrid started to rise just as I expected. I still see them as the team with the best roster and I think they can still become the champions.

When it comes to Anadolu Efes their coach change isn't actually surprising. Because Mijatovic was interim coach and the team wanted to move on with him for a little longer. But after the last results they brought Luca Banchi. Mijatovic will continue as his assistant as far as I know.

First of Euroleague double week has ended. Most interesting game for me was Real Maccabi were we saw no defense. That moment when you score 113 points without OT and still lose game.
Paris and Zalgiris got their wins after series of defeats. While Efes under Bianchi is still without a win in Euroleague. Barca got important win against Panathinaikos which seriously improves their situation.

Fenerbahçe has taken on the identity of a complete away team this year.
Fenerbahçe, who lost to Red Star in Istanbul 57-76, this time beat their opponent 91-96 away.
Two days later, they will face Zalgiris at home in the double-match week.
Fenerbahçe has an overwhelming advantage over Zalgiris at home, but Fenerbahçe can sometimes get ridiculous results.
Especially this year, it does not give me any confidence at home, but I hope we win and complete the double-match week with two wins in two games.

Actually you forgot to mention that the Real vs Maccabi game was the highest scoring game in Euroleague history, even the halftime score was the highest ever already.
It's a crazy score when you consider this was done without overtime and in only 40 minutes, AND with playing defense, unlike a certain league on the other side of the world.

Indeed there were so many successful 3-pointers during our game against Crvena zvezda. It relieved me that most of them belonged to us. Many of our players made 3-point contribution during the whole game. We are really nothing without Nigel Hayes to be honest. He once again had a huge role in our victory with 27 points. Maybe we didn't play our best defensive game but we made up for it anyway. Being in the 2nd place while we have a missing game is a really good work. I wish to see my team like this during playoffs too.

By the way there is a Real Madrid-Olympiacos game tonight. Real Madrid are favoured by bookies and I also think they can win at home while they have made big progress.

Nigel Hayes Davies was simply on fire. Everything he shot in this game turned into gold and he is the main reason why Fenerbahce won. Real Madrid vs Olympiacos is the biggest match of the round for sure and Real Madrid needs a win badly here. I will be watching my team Partizan against Milano. Olympiacos dominates in Madrid and Real. It's been a while since Real got defeated last time.
And Paris beats Maccabi confidently. Maccabi this season looks not much better than Alba. I think it's not just about roster. It's really difficult to play all games away from home.

What a win by team!!! Partizan dominated the entire second half and won by 20 points. First time since Partizan is back in the euroleague we won 2 away games in a row in double weekend. Our hopes are back with Paris next game. I think we can go on a huge streak and reach the playoffs!!!

Last night was like a dream for my team Fenerbahçe.    We played the first half terrible against Zalgiris. But there was a completely different Fenerbahçe later on. The coach Jasikevičius must have shown his frustration clearly to them at halftime. Nigel Hayes is like the definition of consistence. He once again made the biggest contribution with 21 points. Guduric was also great in this game. We really need the extra contribution from him and the rest of the team as well. Nigel Hayes can't carry all the time.



I'm sad for Anadolu Efes. They started decent against Barcelona but later lost the lead hard. The defense is still in big trouble.

This is the first time i hear this aswell. He is known for making problems but never heard that a coach gets ejected because of the fans. Crazy win from Efes against Milano. +44 difference is just insane and probobly the biggest win this season by any team. Some crazy matches today with big wins for PAO and Real Madrid

I was thinking about whether to make a live bet, even then there was a 6.85 odds for Pana to win.
When Pana made a sudden attack and the score was 60-70. Pana would win this match. Then the odds dropped to 2.85, I played and then went to sleep. When I woke up at night and looked at the score, I saw that my bet had won.
Panathinaikos is playing a very different basketball game with the crowd in that hall.
They are big favorites for the championship again this year.

Damn, that was a big turnaround!! Classic Euroleague stuff this season so to speak. We see runs like this so often recently, high odds seem to have a lot of value, especially when the favorite is down big. Down 17 at halftime and then winning the game by 13 is straight up crazy if you ask me. It's not like Kaunas player's are scrubs or something. But when a stacked team like Pana shifts gears anything is possible so it seems.

After the first quarter I thought it would be smooth sailing for Olympiakos but man was I wrong. From that point it was really impressive what Fener played. I watched 2 quarters and the executed so well, felt like the good days, haha.
Another team that really surprises me this season, and I guess many people, is ASVEL. Last year a destination for an easy away win but this season they are standing at 11 wins and 12 losses. That's a great comeback!! Last season they had 9 wins in 34 games, now with 11 games left to play they already exceeded that easy! Beating Barcelona, that recently won away at the both other French teams, that are much higher in the EL table as well, is definitely not a no brainer.

I wasn't expecting a win, it was a surprise for me, but Fenerbahçe fought very well.
It was great to beat Olympiakos here.
I hope there will be no injuries and we will win the Euroleague Cup again at the end of the year.
There is no work for the football team, at least let our basketball team make us happy.

It was hell of a win for Fenerbahçe indeed. My team continue to surprise me although I didn't find our roster strong enough. Because normally we really don't have many star players. There is only Nigel Hayes who I can count in. But we are getting wonderful efficiency from our shooting guards such as Guduric, Biberovic and more. Defeating the leader makes me more hopeful about Fenerbahçe for playoffs. I hope we can maintain this effort during that phase as well.

I felt happy for Anadolu Efes too last round. They finally won after the 5-loss streak. They really crushed Milano home. I hope the new coach Luca Banchi starts fixing things soon. Otherwise they won't even be able to make it for play-in showdown.

We should pay credits to Panathinaikos, but that was most typical this season Zalgiris. They're literally best team in whole Eurleague in 1st half and completely worst after halftime:

Even when they have 15-20 lead at halftime, it looks like safe bet to go against them on live markets.
