Considering the players who were injured in Crvena Zvezda, they played an excellent match. Honestly, i didn’t expect this kind of win, but now i see that it’s well deserved. Zvezda is maybe playing their best season so far  they’re in second place, right below Hapoel. I’ve seen many surprises since i started watching the eurol eague, and i have to admit this one is a pleasant surprise. Dobric and Butler played an excellent game. Dobric scored 22 points and Butler 20  really impressive.

We defeated Hapoel, and I'm a little hopeful for Fenerbahçe. Fenerbahçe's tough defense stopped Hapoel, who had won previous matches with very strong scores, and Hapoel was held to 68 points.
We defeated both Israeli teams on neutral ground.
We saw once again how much Tucker contributes to the team when he plays effectively.
Tarık Biberovic played his most impressive game this year in this match.
I hope he continues this way.
If we defeat Partizan next week, these two wins will be even more meaningful.

This was the best result of the night, and we beat Hapoel.
Saras prepared the team well for the match. We played excellent defense and defeated Hapoel.
I hope this win is a start. If Tarık and Tucker are good, the team will be good. These two players contributed to the scoring, but yesterday, the important thing was to play good defense as a team, and we did that.

I really liked the way Fenerbahçe played against the leader Hapoel. This was a critical game for me honestly to see if there is a real progress with Jasikevičius's team. And it turns out there is. 

That 17-0 run and their performance in the 3rd quarter were both amazing. Their defense was also in a really good shape. Hapoel couldn't even score 70 points.


TJ Shorts finally started to show some good effort for Panathinaikos. He was good against Real Madrid. I understand Ergin Ataman's not intending to change his system for one player. I believe TJ Shorts will adapt to it better in time.

Butler is truly a great player, which he proved as soon as he arrived. I know that the fans are the ones who give the team an extra boost, but i think that the change of coach had the biggest impact on such a good result. Obradovic is a great expert, which he shows from game to game. The chemistry in the team has never been this good. We’ll see how far they can go.

Kenneth Faried is really on fire despite just being signed by Panathinaikos. People were criticizing him because of his age as he is 35 years old now. But now I wonder what they are thinking.  

He posterized Edy Tavares last night which was worth watching. While TJ Shorts is also finding his rhythm Panathinaikos can get back in the game again in the Euroleague.

I only saw the odds before the game and saw that Zvezda is an underdog despite playing at home, so yeah I thought they might have some injury issues but didn't know it's that bad. Anyway, happy to see they found a way to still beat Monaco Just watched the highlights and despite being down 9 in the 2nd and short of key players they never really seemed phased, played their game and in the end won in a deserving fashion.
Still I am also a bit sad that Daniel Theis doesn't really show up for Monaco at the moment, wonder what's up with him. In the last 5 games he scored in double digits only once, before that he pretty much always scored better.

Fenerbahçe Beko played one of their best games since the start of the season. There are signs of improvement in the team. However, without reinforcements, it is unclear what will happen for the rest of the season. It's questionable how far this roster can push for a playoff spot in January-February. But the fight in the Hapoel game was very good. This game will greatly boost the team's confidence for the coming weeks. Jantunen and Tarık will recover, but Bacot and Boston look difficult. Tucker's development continues, and his contribution will increase as he learns more about the Euroleague.

I made predictions for two matches and failed both times. I was happy Fenerbahçe won. I lost the bet, but I still say I'm glad Fenerbahçe won.

Real Madrid was a huge disappointment. Their home defeat to Panathinaikos is interesting. Apparently, Real Madrid and Barcelona haven't been investing much in basketball for a long time. Barcelona has been bad enough over the last two or three years, and Real Madrid is now on the list.

A total rollercoaster of a game And the atmosphere is always at the highest level. There are a lot of injured players, but in moments like these the most important thing is to have enough guys who can step in, and if they’re in good form, nothing will stand in the way. I think Theis just needs some time  he’ll get back to his old self.

A really good improvement on Fenerbahçe's side. That Hapoel win was a convincing one even though the last moments were quite tough. The biggest positive thing is to see their defense getting stronger.

Anadolu Efes were decent in the first half and they are ahead by 8 points at halftime. I still can't say I trust them highly though but I hope they finish this losing streak. By the way isn't the lighting system of the stadium a bit weird like too dark?

Anadolu Efes won by only 2 points against Bayern today. But that last quarter performance by them was just horrible. They were really bad defensively and offensively both. It could have easily gone to extra time if Bayern used their last chance better.

In the first seconds of the last quarter Anadolu Efes got a 15-point lead. But they still let things come to this. They must be thankful for Cordinier's 26-point performance. But this result shows the season will still go on really hard for them.

I was sceptical about Faried and I'm still not jumping on hype train. I remember when he joined CSKA few years back and he looked so bad that I thought that he will either retire or will go to play in some exotic leagues in Asia. Saw him in Italy playing in much lower level than Euroleague - he was ok, but not something special.
Was surprised to see first his great games for PAO, but still not sure that he can perform so well consistently.

True what you said about Barca - they just can't spend big when their football club in such huge debts. While Real, I guess they're still have Top 3 Euroleague budget together with Greek clubs. But not sure that these money is well spent.

Efes wasted safe lead in the end, but won the game - Bayern made really poor last attack after timeout. Poor Dinwidie, few days back he missed free throws that could send game to OT, now he missed 3 pointer that could win the game.
Zalgiris a bit unexpected lot to Dubai. 3 games are still in play and we have close score everywhere.

Beşiktaş GM Nedim Yücel announced that they are aiming for the championship in the EuroCup and that the organization is ready for the EuroLeague level. Beşiktaş should have been in the EuroLeague for years. By allocating more budget to basketball, a competitive roster can be built here. It seems that this vision is only just beginning to take shape. Hopefully, the management will allocate sufficient budget to this area and next year we will see Beşiktaş in the EuroLeague. Beşiktaş is already the biggest favorite for the EuroCup this season. Winning a European cup and expanding the team is a very positive plan. While Europe's best coach Alimpijević is with us, we need to give him much better material to work with.

By the way Barcelona has brought back their Euroleague winner coach Xavi Pascual. They won the competition with him in 2010. He managed Barcelona for 8 years in the past.

They weren't doing bad in the Euroleague in fact but in the Liga ACB things were really going terrible for them. I don't know what you think but I believe his return can make a positive impact on the team.

Bookmakers are giving Fenerbahçe and Hapoel the same chance to win tonight. I wish good luck to Fenerbahçe. But I'm aware that their job will be very difficult. I wasn't satisfied with their 2nd half performance in the Maccabi match.  

I hope Anadolu Efes finally win as well! They are really horrible with a 3-loss streak. Kokoškov's arrival still has no positive effect on the team. I wonder how much longer they'll go on with him. Hopefully they manage to beat Bayern tomorrow.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the odds given to Fener but it turns out to be true. Fenerbahce got a big win. I didn't give them any possibility to win in my mind but they managed to win strong. Not because Hapoel was extremely good but I thought Fener was very bad, but I was mistaken. They played decent. Still far from the last year's champions performance.

Efes lost the 15 points lead 2 times in the game. Almost lost at the end but hardly won the game. Bayern was without Obst. Things are looking very bad for Efes. Even Larkin might be injured now. Hopefully it is not a too serious injury.

In recent few seasons Beskiktas looks very solid under Alimpjevic, but I don't agree that they should have been in Euroleague for years. They didn't had good results, they were playing in small arena with little attendance and IIRC players weren't getting money on time.
But now things have changed. Winning Eurocup won't be easy as playofff format is stupid there IMO. And too bad that afterwinning Eurocup there is no chance to stay in Euroleague for longer than one season. I think Euroleague don't want to have 3 teams from same city.
Interesting thing that another Istanbul club Galatasaray have chosen different path - joining NBA Europe
