Just saw that Hapoel was supposed to play against Paris today, yet it got cancelled due to the shit that's going on right now. 

Dubai Basket, Hapoel, and Maccabi – these three teams seem more likely to have their games cancelled. If Trump doesn't end the war, these three teams won't be able to play their games at home.
I think they will most likely play in neutral venues in Europe until the war ends.

Good news on Anadolu Efes side! They've announced that they've parted ways with the sporting director İsmail Şenol.

I think this is the best decision for both sides... He is a journalist at the end of the day. I didn't even understand the purpose of bringing him to this job.

I hope they sign a name who can make the right transfers for the team. Anadolu Efes has a long and enough time ahead to rebuild the roster for bigger achievements.

Ömer Faruk Yurtseven has left Panathinaikos and signed with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, the Houston Rockets' Development League team. Ömer Faruk is currently 27 years old, not too old, but isn't he a bit old for the Development League?

I'm curious what qualities Houston saw in Ömer Faruk and how they acquired him for their Development League team. LeBron's son, Bronny, was also sent to the Los Angeles Development League team mid-season but returned shortly after. Can teams add players from this league to their roster during the season if needed?

Euroleague is back in action today and main game of this round without any doubts is Greek derby between Olympiacos and Panathinaikos. And as you already know, few games were postponed because of conflict in the Middle East.

Really strange move from Yurtseven. Not really sure that he can return to NBA through G League. Maybe only some trash minutes in meaningless games before playoffs While in Europe I think he can get decent contract in Europe.
And yeah, it's quite common thing that players travel multiple times between NBA and G league teams throughout the season.

In the 30th week of the EuroLeague, league leaders Fenerbahçe Beko defeated Monaco 88-70 at home, securing their 22nd victory. Fenerbahçe has now won 9 of its last 9 EuroLeague games.

Talen Horton Tucker was magnificent again, making a significant difference with 28 points.

At the end of the game, an argument broke out between Mike James and Okobo. I understand the reason was a dispute over passing on the last possession, but I don't understand why such a thing would happen when you're already 18 points down. This suggests internal unrest within Monaco.

Yeah most likely they will put those game on some neutral sites again, just as they did before with the Israeli teams. Sad that crazy politics always have to interfere with sports and other social events, but that's how the world is right now. Guess we never learn to get better.
Let's see what the Euroleague announces about this, obviously they need to make a plan quick so the season can continue without hick-ups. Missing 3 teams would be a huge blow.

Fenerbahçe cruised to an easy victory against Monaco by switching to training mode without breaking a sweat and making numerous rotations. Monaco actually played quite tough defense in this match, but Fenerbahçe's excellent offense and players who pulled rabbits out of hats easily overcame the tough defense. Saras is, in my opinion, the best coach in Europe. We saw this once again. He plays a great game with rotations in both defense and offense. Monaco may be experiencing an economic crisis, but this team was last year's finalist, so it's interesting how it ended up in this situation.

A bit disappointing Greek derby. In general, it was decided in 1st half. After halftime we already saw different face of PAO, but it wasn't enough. In 4th quarter Oly played so poorly, but Panathinaikos wasted all these gifts. Win in Greek cup now looks like exception because Olympiacos dominate completely in Greek derby.

They're 10th now, but it will be surprise for me if they will end in Play-in zone. While Fenerbache players made gift for Saras on his 50th birthday. Damn, time flies so fast, it feels that he still was playing not so long time ago and now it's already 50th anniversary.

The worst moment of the game was when Şehmus Hazer attempted and missed a three-pointer with 6.2 seconds left, catching Asvel off guard defensively. I don't understand what Şehmus was thinking when he made that decision.

Anadolu Efes has been unable to find consistency this season.

Not sure what you mean with the "worst moment of the game". They were down 3 points with under 10 seconds to go. Yeah the shot was not good and he could have passed to a teammate that was wide open, but still they had to shoot anyway so the decision is not that crazy I think.
They lost the game not because of the end, they have had the lead only 6 times with the highest lead was 3:0, haha. They lost because ASVEL was the better team that night, plain and simple.

Monaco is facing serious financial difficulties and has been getting very poor results lately. There were rumors that Mike James was unhappy because he wasn't getting paid. Monaco has only beaten Baskonia in their last 8 games. I don't think Monaco will even make it to the play-in stage.

They have a game against Olympiacos today, who are in great form, and it would be a surprise if Monaco won. I wasn't surprised by Spanoulis's resignation.

But they don't even have proper arena, haven't found more sponsors than Fedorychev and now there is lot of questions about their future.

Panathinaikos finally secured a victory after a tough battle following a four-game losing streak.

Cedi Osman was the game-changer for Panathinaikos in this match. I think he was the player who brought them the win.

Did Nigel play too little, or is it just me?
He contributed 10 points to the victory.

Mathias Lessort returned to the court after 438 days and contributed 9 points. Panathinaikos struggled but won with a score of 92-88.

Yeah Mike James being unhappy is the most natural thing I have heard about him in his career, hahaha. But everybody obviously would be pissed if they are waiting for paychecks. If you make big promises and hand out big contracts just to have a shot at glory you should honor those contracts as well, plain and simple. We have seen several clubs collapsing in the past years and it would be sad to see if Monaco would be next on the list.

Friday was an unforgettable day for Fenerbahçe fans. It was a Black Friday, I'd say.
The football team lost to Karagümrük, who are at the bottom of the league, and we can say they lost the championship this year.
In the Crvena Zvezda match, where Fenerbahçe led at halftime, they played terribly in the 3rd and 4th quarters and lost the game. Fenerbahçe suffered their first defeat in the Euroleague in a long time.

Yesterday, Tarık may have had his worst statistics in recent years. He made only 1 out of 7 three-pointers.

If he had made 3, Fenerbahçe might not have lost.

Almost after a decade later I'm following some basketball matches. You know originally I fan of Besiktas and watch their football matches. At least watching basketball is way more entertainment than football. So recently  two interesting scores caught my eye. Monaco beat Olympiacos 81-80. That was a big surprise for me and worth to watch it. And Anadolu Efes beat Bayern Munich 81-80 so as a Turk I'm prouded.

As the regular season nears its end, I will be following Euroleague games more closely from now on. Of course, the team I want to win the championship is Fenerbahçe because there is no Besiktas  and Anadolu Efes way more far away than first spot.

The only issue is that Anadolu Efes started to get more positive results quite late in the season...    This is all because of bad management of the team. I don't mean only coach. The board also!

They've just started taking some steps. İsmail Şenol is no longer the sporting director. He just didn't have much idea about what he was doing. Krunoslav Simon is speculated to take the job.

He is an old Anadolu Efes player but currently working for Croatian national team as a sporting director.
