This is as a result of peer pressure. And this point out to the fact that children might learn the habit of gambling outside of the house. I have seen children with good parents and responsible parents living a different life that i wonder where they got i from.

In this scenario if the parent found out that there child is a gambling addict, the best thing to do is to talk the child out of it and ground him from using gadgets that would give him access to gambling platforms. This is a good point even as it deviates from the context in the OP, and I could remember that I'd shared a view like this before on this thread but it was in an advice note. Fine, parents cannot be following their children everywhere at all times, they have their lives too, but if any child got to learn something that is adult-related at a younger age externally, the parent is absolved of that, after all, the parent could be gambling but since he knows that the child could be affected by it kept it from him/her. By conscience and by moral/good upbringing, the parent has done his part.

Nonetheless, in view of extra parenting, sensitivity is needed and the parents should be close to their children to know what is going on in their lives. However, if such as gambling is detected, it is the duty of such a parent to wade in in such a way that will be educative to the child. Damn. People have learned new word - "damage" and now use it everywhere. How will mindset be damaged? By believing that gambling is something for fun? Well it is for fun actually. Dangerous for growth and development for them is stopping to get new information, as they with time it will be harder for person to learn new thing. We are of course role models specially into our own children when we do have our own family on which it is really just that right that you would really be  that guiding them on the best way as possible and trying out to avoid them into things on which we do know that it could really be that resulting into disaster of their own lives specially on dealing up with gambling. Exactly, a child has a very high level of curiosity about everything they see, usually they will not think about whether the activity is prohibited or not, but certainly if they see that the adults around them are doing it then obviously they will assume or think that it is okay to do, and this is why many people recommend that it is better to do a negative activity out of the reach of a child, I think there are still quite a lot of times that you can use to gamble, such as when they are napping or at night. Or, at 7, it is enough to tell the kid that this should not be done on his own, and he could start gambling only from 18. And that would be enough. Thus 11-12 yo will sure ask lots of extra questions, mainly starting with "why". Anyway, since there is a lot of gambling, direct and indirect around, then I insist, that parents should at least explain what it is.

Recently found a perfect example. Our local TV, on Sunday show national lottery rounds at 11-12 o`clock in the morning. The time when most of family is already awake, turn tv just for the background. So unintentionally kids learn what is gambling, by watching how smallball whirlwind in the transparent ball. Of course that raises million questions and is interesting. Now I am returning to suggestion to hide act of gambling, when kids see gambling on tv and or as ads during streaming video they see on devices. You are absolutely right by saying that some adjustments must be done. For example, every kid nowadays have a devices with internet access. Any kid can watch any content when parents are not around. Even Youtube kids is not a safe anymore. Somehow bloggers and their content sneaked through filters. Not saying that it is a must to do adjustment, because not every kids intends to open casino site as quick as possible when adults are not around. But some kind of switch for safety mode must be done.

Or, at 7, it is enough to tell the kid that this should not be done on his own, and he could start gambling only from 18. And that would be enough. That's what I totally agree with! Don't forbid them touching it until they 18(btw, I think it's better to wait until 20), don't hide it from them(because it's impossible actually), but rather explain it to them on the language they can understand at their current age.
