That's a very good point and those who have not done push ups in past few months won't be able to do 100 push ups straight away. Best is to start with what your body is comfortable with. I gave it a try after reading this post and was able to do 10 push ups. I will do 10 Push-Ups for next two days also and will increase number of Push-Ups after that.  

10 March 2024 (Day 1) - 10 Push-Ups (Done)

11 March 2024 (Day 2) - 10 Push-Ups (Planned)
12 March 2024 (Day 3) - 10 Push-Ups (Planned)

I don't mean to be overly judgmental, but that quantity seems pretty low absent some reason that it needs to be that  low. .

In other words, you might want to consider doing three sets of push ups per day (or at least working up to being able to do 3 sets).., because one session per day seems to be pretty whimpy (especially with that quantity of pushups). and you might not experience improvements from that low of a level of pushups and if you are doing them all in one session and that scattered out of your sessions (which for you seems to be ONLY 1 session per day). ..

Of course, in the end, you can engage in this challenge in whatever way that you like...; or whatever fits your lifestyle and/or abilities.

You are very right in saying that quantity of push-ups are very low. The reason is, consider me as a guy who hasn't done push-ups or HIIT workouts for many years and for this reason my muscles are sleeping in comfort zone. I am giving three days time to my muscles to wake up and move out of comfort zone. I am happy that I have done 10 push-ups yesterday and today. From day after tomorrow I will increase my push-up quantity, perhaps 2 sets of 10 push-ups for first two days followed by 3 sets of 10 push-ups. Once my muscles are activated, I am sure I will increase that rate further.

Everyone of us is in different Hypo w.r.t push-ups. I consider myself at very early stage and need to activate my muscles first to gather push-ups on daily basis.   

Thanks JJG for this valuable suggestion of executing push-ups in sets. One set followed by another with some gap will help in getting to target of 100 push-ups per day.


In line with seeing a good result physically, I would suggest you should walk or jog at least one or two kilometers per day as a cardio exercise to increase your stamina so you can do more push ups and reps in the next coming days. I don't know if you're tight with schedules, but once you've done it straight for 1 week, you'll surely get used to it. But hey, you need to increase the number of push ups everyday so your body get used to it and will increase your arm strength and capacity to do more reps.
It will be very nice to see a good results with your body as well as seeing good results in your bitcoin holdings. Nothing is more exciting seeing these kinds of improvements.

I was also thinking the same but the worst cheat is the one a man cheats on him self, they forgot to know the importance of exercise, exercise is very essential sometimes in life we don't even need medicine to be heal exercise can do it to be sincere ever since I started this journey of 100 push-up I can't remember when last I feel ill I feel strong and healthy also don't forget that health is wealth let's not fake it Bitcoin is already at all time high you can start with little like 10-15 push-up continuously and see the difference.

True.  You would be cheating yourself, not me.  I don't care if people want to pretend they're doing push-ups.  Maybe they'll bump the thread and encourage someone else to better themselves.  What I can tell you is that after 3,825 push-ups I can feel a difference and I can see a difference.  The reward is in the results. 

I'm actually shocked at the amount of difference I've noticed.  I always did 20 push-ups per day along with a bunch of curls, sit-ups, pull-ups, biking, walking...  I didn't think adding 80 push-ups at the cost of my curls (because my broken elbow isn't 100% yet) would have much of an effect at all.  However, I'm sleeping better, waking up earlier, I have more energy, and I'm eating a ton more without gaining any weight.  As a result I'm getting more done around the house, I'm being more active with my businesses, and I'm spending less time in front of the television.  I highly recommend joining this challenge and promise if you do it you will start noticing results after only a couple weeks.

Yesterday was rough for me.  I replaced the hot water heater for my house along with a car repair and a lot of landscaping work.  I was pretty tired by the end of the day and after getting my push-ups in my arms were pretty sore.  My first 25 this morning were rough, but I'm going to keep the streak alive no matter what as I know this Bitcoin rally depends on it. Grin  If I were a smart man I would probably take a day off and let my arms recover a little bit, but I don't think anyone in this community will accuse me of doing the smart thing anytime soon.  75 more to go today and we end the day at $75K! Cheesy

yea well for those of us who are stuck below 40 its looking very ominous as Bitcoin pushes
past $70k, it could very well beat me to 100!

a friend was telling me today that when Bitcoin hits $75k there will be approximately 1 billion
worth of shorts could get liquidated, that will kill the challenge for me anyway....

I love running most not a fans of push-up but for the sake of Bitcoin meeting $100000 I will exercise 40 push up daily for a start begining from tomorrow
I doubt if you can do 40 push-ups for a start because remember you said you are not a fan of push-ups but you want to do it simply because you want the price of Bitcoin to reach $100k, so I think the best you can go is from 10 to 20 push-ups if at all you can meet up 20 because i remembered some years back before i had this spinal injury, when i started doing push-ups i use to go between 10 to 15 push-ups before i started increasing it as days go by though since you said you are mostly involved in exercises through running that means your body can be fit enough to go up to 20 push-ups but saying you will go 40 push-ups for a start is very funny i must say

There are days you will feel very tired to continue because of the activities we have engaged ourselves with. But realizing that bitcoin rally is depending on it you just have to make sure you do your part. To me it's just like a doctor who doesn't feel like going to work, but he has to as there are patients who are relying on his expert knowledge to get well, so he just have to get to work. This is exactly how I feel some days about this challenge but I have to be faithful to the challenge.

For some reason I stopped keeping up with this thread because I feel like most people are faking it but the truth about it is they are indirectly motivating alot of people including me.

With my current schedule of school activities and building my career I have found myself reducing the rate at which I take the challenge because I don't have enough time by my side, I have to attend a lot of classes, do both assignments and the rest of it.

Even with the reduction in practice, I have noticed much difference in on my body, it's really good to put oneself into things that will benefit you than say what you won't do. I'm more fit than before, I think I was among the first people who started this challenge and I'm going to a great number of push-ups almost a 3,000 push-ups and this was even based on my little health challenge that I had to stop at some point but at least with this I'm okay and practicing more.

I also enjoy reading through the thread seeing people interested in the challenge and how much Bitcoin they have been able to accumulate I had to also increase my stash of Bitcoin with my signature campaign payment, infact every of the experience is worth it.

If anyone is practicing this challenge I commend you to take it serious not for anyone's good but for yourself. I will only be hitting more push-ups during the weekend in the gym but for now my hands are tight. Good luck to everyone here.

I think it is not possible to do 100 push-ups per day, but for me, I can do maybe 10 to 15 push-ups per day. If I do 100 push-ups a day, I may put too much stress on my muscles and my physical condition may suffer. So I think until Bitcoin touches $100k, I might push up body weight.
Not possible for you I would say but, it doesn’t apply to everyone.

It doesn’t matter much for someone like myself that have been doing push ups for a while, even before this challenge. This challenge was just a push to get back on track with my good days doing some home work outs. Besides, am still young and my health matters to me.

100 push ups might seem like a large number for a starter but, have some consistency to it and your endurance gradually builds. When it hurts, you know your about your limit and you know when exactly to draw the line. Am no gym instructor but, have been around the gym a few times and the last push is what locks it in.

So, how do you do your push ups?
I haven’t been very consistent with this challenge, truths be told but, I do my push ups for sure.

First, I do a wide am push up, spread like a crab;
Usually I am energy packed as it’s always my first attempt and have a rapid 30 before my hands gradually weakens, I continue in bits of 10, 5 and so on, swaying side ways, left and right in between for relaxation with your hands still positioned, I continue my push up until it gets to 50. Then, I take few minutes break (2-3minutes). This widens your chest.

Second attempt, I bring my hands much closer to be straight at my shoulder level;
For this one, the target here is usually 30 push ups, I just go with a little momentum, try to push myself to 20 or 25, using the same swaying in between 5 push ups or 10 as the case may be. That’s after I have pushed for a good number as well. Then I take my break, drinking water as push through.

My third attempts is usually diamond push ups where I have my hands locked in themselves, just right in between my chest. I think this one pumps your chest out;
For this, I try to go at least 15 push ups. It’s usually the most difficult, your weight seems to concentrate on you and your shoulders would literally vibrate due to tension in your muscles. Doing even 10 is not usually easy especially when your just starting but, you try and build endurance on the way. So, you target 15 push ups, sway in between whatever number, maybe take a break and later get at it depending on how I can hold up but, ensuring you achieve 10 of it. Then I could call it a day for push up.

Mind you, some days you can’t active all that in the morning so, when my muscles is tensed up, I just do the rest in the evening. Just take notes in my head on what number I stopped and what style I was doing. When I separate it though, I might beat 100 push ups for a day.

I also try some abs fitness excess. Just lay back, have my legs hinged and I pull myself up towards my knell. At times I do this in between my push ups to enable my muscles get some relaxation and at other times, I do that after.  It all depends on what my muscles detects for me not to strain them.

So yeah, 100 push ups is possible and achievable by anyone, just a matter of technique and consistency. If your entirely new to it, you would find it had but, gradually building on it, you would find the endurance to push on.
My last exercise was Saturday though. Haven’t been consistent with it.

Note: Bitcoin seems to be in a haste to end this challenge as $100k isn’t looking far away, Bitcoin did climb up to $72.5k today from what I can see in the charts.

there's no doubt that most people ain't actually doing the pushups, well everybody doing it for themselves, so if you think you are deceiving others, well you're just deceiving yourself because those you may think you are deceiving are at there building their building their portfolio and same their body to be fit. So even though others might be pretending doesn't mean you should let it to affect yours .
Just continue hitting the number of pushups you could it either by set or all at once. To be well fit with good health.

wow still that is some good number of pushups, to be honest haven't gotten that much due to fact that I didn't started with 100 pushups daily, (I was actually hitting mine according to bitcoin recent value, and also due to the suspense I had when I was feeling some body aches). But still I'm also seeing  that Great changes in my body , at first when I started this challenge to hit 10 pushups was a bit challenging for me but now I could hit 20+ once without feeling any ache on my body, so I can increase my pushups so that I could hit more numbers of  pushups,  it won't be more challenge to me anymore . Lately  have been  consuming more proteins.

If anyone is practicing this challenge I commend you to take it serious not for anyone's good but for yourself. I will only be hitting more push-ups during the weekend in the gym but for now my hands are tight. Good luck to everyone here.

In line with seeing a good result physically, I would suggest you should walk or jog at least one or two kilometers per day as a cardio exercise to increase your stamina so you can do more push ups and reps in the next coming days. I don't know if you're tight with schedules, but once you've done it straight for 1 week, you'll surely get used to it. But hey, you need to increase the number of push ups everyday so your body get used to it and will increase your arm strength and capacity to do more reps.
It will be very nice to see a good results with your body as well as seeing good results in your bitcoin holdings. Nothing is more exciting seeing these kinds of improvements.
You may feel bored by push-ups continuously... you should send yourself vacation for 1 or 2 days to increase performance, this will increase the quantity and quality of your push-ups. It will also boost your stamina and also see a great changes to your body. Now the price of Bitcoin is continuously pumping and crossed ATH, we need to keep hitting push-up till hitting $100k.You can be more excited to see the pumping of the muscle increase in line with the increase in BTC price

Yesterday was rough for me.  I replaced the hot water heater for my house along with a car repair and a lot of landscaping work.  I was pretty tired by the end of the day and after getting my push-ups in my arms were pretty sore.  My first 25 this morning were rough, but I'm going to keep the streak alive no matter what as I know this Bitcoin rally depends on it. Grin  If I were a smart man I would probably take a day off and let my arms recover a little bit, but I don't think anyone in this community will accuse me of doing the smart thing anytime soon.  75 more to go today and we end the day at $75K! Don't worry ser. This challenge, or punishment, that you have urged yourself to do will probably not last by more than three months after the halving. Plus the people who has just joined the challenge, expecting to transform into a rock-hard, muscular Chad will be very disappointed because it should take more than one year of 100 push ups per day to acheive "The Chad".

I believe $75,000 will not happen today during CPI announcement, especially when everyone is projecting a higher month on month CPI print.

Anyone who is doing the new version of push-ups should be careful and don't do it on a tiled floor. I had a bad experience with the new version of push-ups when I did it this morning. My hand slipped off the floor, and if not for the experience I applied, I would have gotten a dislocation on my shoulder. I'm feeling some pain in my shoulder. I will take a two-day break from the 100 push-ups a day until bitcoin is $100k to help me recover fully.

Oh that's so sad, sorry you had such an experience, doing push up on a tiled floor is not very good especially when the floor is wet with liquid it can be very dangerous. You can be doing your push up out side the room or in a place that's not tile to avoid any form of accident. Even if you are doing it on a tiled floor, make sure that the floor is not wet. The aim of this push up is to stay healthy and fit while we await bitcoin to get to $100k it won't be very nice to get hurt along the line. Stay strong and take a break to recover, you can get back in when you are full fit again to start.

But OgNasty, how will you know if one is completely doing the challenge here? I'm starting from tomorrow but how do you know I'm keeping up with your challenge.
I was also thinking the same but the worst cheat is the one a man cheats on him self, they forgot to know the importance of exercise, exercise is very essential sometimes in life we don't even need medicine to be heal exercise can do it to be sincere ever since I started this journey of 100 push-up I can't remember when last I feel ill I feel strong and healthy also don't forget that health is wealth let's not fake it Bitcoin is already at all time high you can start with little like 10-15 push-up continuously and see the difference.

True.  You would be cheating yourself, not me.  I don't care if people want to pretend they're doing push-ups.  Maybe they'll bump the thread and encourage someone else to better themselves.  What I can tell you is that after 3,825 push-ups I can feel a difference and I can see a difference.  The reward is in the results. 

I'm actually shocked at the amount of difference I've noticed.  I always did 20 push-ups per day along with a bunch of curls, sit-ups, pull-ups, biking, walking...  I didn't think adding 80 push-ups at the cost of my curls (because my broken elbow isn't 100% yet) would have much of an effect at all.  However, I'm sleeping better, waking up earlier, I have more energy, and I'm eating a ton more without gaining any weight.  As a result I'm getting more done around the house, I'm being more active with my businesses, and I'm spending less time in front of the television.  I highly recommend joining this challenge and promise if you do it you will start noticing results after only a couple weeks.
For some reason I stopped keeping up with this thread because I feel like most people are faking it but the truth about it is they are indirectly motivating alot of people including me.

With my current schedule of school activities and building my career I have found myself reducing the rate at which I take the challenge because I don't have enough time by my side, I have to attend a lot of classes, do both assignments and the rest of it.

Even with the reduction in practice, I have noticed much difference in on my body, it's really good to put oneself into things that will benefit you than say what you won't do. I'm more fit than before, I think I was among the first people who started this challenge and I'm going to a great number of push-ups almost a 3,000 push-ups and this was even based on my little health challenge that I had to stop at some point but at least with this I'm okay and practicing more.

I also enjoy reading through the thread seeing people interested in the challenge and how much Bitcoin they have been able to accumulate I had to also increase my stash of Bitcoin with my signature campaign payment, infact every of the experience is worth it.

If anyone is practicing this challenge I commend you to take it serious not for anyone's good but for yourself. I will only be hitting more push-ups during the weekend in the gym but for now my hands are tight. Good luck to everyone here.

I want you to understand that you aren't doing this for anybody, you are actually doing it for yourself, so if anyone is no being sincere about it is none of your business, because at the end of the day, the exercise in questions makes you healthier than that person deceiving him or her self.

So what am trying to say is that no exercise is a waste, it's more beneficial to you as a person, regardless of if the next person is doing it or not.

Since we started this challenge, I have been doing my push-ups in my room, and sometimes I will even hold my bed to gain elevation and do my push-ups. This morning, I don't know what happened that led to my accident, but I thank God I'm not hurt. Immediately, I noticed my shoulder was about to get hurt. I quickly removed my hands from the floor so that they would not get support to dislocate, and I fell with my back.

Bitcoin is already at the ATH stage and it doesn't seem like it will take long to cross $100k. Its level of pumping is incredible. Today I want to join this thread with you in the middle and I must be successful because I have a slim figure and exercise regularly. After reading this thread, I tried for the last time and completed 23 pushups. Although pushup is not given every day but I walk regularly. I hope to start as a new by joining the pushup challenge with this thread from today. I hope I can update my pushup in this thread from today regular basis.

I love running most not a fans of push-up but for the sake of Bitcoin meeting $100000 I will exercise 40 push up daily for a start begining from tomorrow
I doubt if you can do 40 push-ups for a start because remember you said you are not a fan of push-ups but you want to do it simply because you want the price of Bitcoin to reach $100k, so I think the best you can go is from 10 to 20 push-ups if at all you can meet up 20 because i remembered some years back before i had this spinal injury, when i started doing push-ups i use to go between 10 to 15 push-ups before i started increasing it as days go by though since you said you are mostly involved in exercises through running that means your body can be fit enough to go up to 20 push-ups but saying you will go 40 push-ups for a start is very funny i must say
That he is not a fan of push-ups does not mean he has not been doing exercise or not physically fit to do 40 push-ups at a stretch. He might be engaged in other physical exercise such as weight lifting in addition to running which he mentioned. These bring the stamina and endurance needed to engage in pushup exercise. Also depending on a lot of factors, such as his physical size, he can actually go that number if his body weight and size are not much. It is only someone with huge body weight that will require a gradual practice and progress to hit that number.

I did 15 push-ups today after almost two months, although it was a bit painful for me to do this amount of push-ups. Although I have taken the challenge, I will definitely try to do 100 push-ups until I get to $100K, although it will be difficult, but if you keep doing it, it will become much easier. Although today I have been able to do very few push-ups after a long time so after a long time I can feel a lot better in my body by doing such an exercise. Today when I did 15 push-ups in the morning my body felt so much better and lighter today.
However, I can see that right now the Bitcoin market has crossed $72k and that is currently the highest ATH. So I think if I can increase the number of push-ups every day then surely I will be able to complete push-ups to the level that Bitcoin will go to. Although I won't find it too painful to do push-ups tomorrow as it will gradually become easier for me and I think I might be able to do 20/25 push-ups tomorrow, and I will definitely meet this challenge.

yea well for those of us who are stuck below 40 its looking very ominous as Bitcoin pushes
past $70k, it could very well beat me to 100!

a friend was telling me today that when Bitcoin hits $75k there will be approximately 1 billion
worth of shorts could get liquidated, that will kill the challenge for me anyway....

The number of shorts that are outstanding at any one time remains a moving target, since they can pull their shorts at any time, and that is part of the motivation when the price moves very quickly - to catch several of the shorts prior to their ability to pull them.

There are days you will feel very tired to continue because of the activities we have engaged ourselves with. But realizing that bitcoin rally is depending on it you just have to make sure you do your part. To me it's just like a doctor who doesn't feel like going to work, but he has to as there are patients who are relying on his expert knowledge to get well, so he just have to get to work. This is exactly how I feel some days about this challenge but I have to be faithful to the challenge.

Most days it hurts me too.  Most of the time, I am not exactly wanting to do it.. but I know it is for my own good.. and it is also a kind of camaraderie thing. which surely is nice to know that several other guys are suffering in similar ways all around the world. and in connection to our contemplations and expectations of number go up.

Personally, I think $100k remains an intermediary goal, and surely many of us thought that it could be around the top of the last cycle, which we know ended up falling short - including some folks consider the lazer eyes to be related to number go up, and I don't wear my lazer eyes for that reason, but instead I wear my lazer eyes as a way of communicating the idea of not getting distracted and to keep your eyes on the prize.. which is bitcoin..

I am starting to think that another intermediate pausing zone is $120k to $180k for this year.. and then perhaps $240k to $540k for 2025.. as a kind of base case idea of where we might be going... yet again, who knows.. those are kind of rough ideas that could end up being overshot or undershot..

I presume most people are not faking it, even though there could be some fakers... ..which for me is so what?  Let them fake it, but I hardly see what good it does, unless they are just wanting to receive a merit or something like that..

It is surprising how the BTC price has gone pretty much straight up during the period of the challenge and right around 70% higher since the start of this thread, yet I am thinking that there were already some guys doing pushups before this thread started (in terms of the challenge being out there).. I cannot recall why I started my pushups one day before this thread started, and I think it was because some members (including OgNasty) had already been posting about it in the WO thread, so yeah, it is way better to have this separate thread to mostly hone in on this topic. and to keep it as a kind of speculation (which seems a stretch.. but no harm no foul, right?)

there's no doubt that most people ain't actually doing the pushups, well everybody doing it for themselves, so if you think you are deceiving others, well you're just deceiving yourself because those you may think you are deceiving are at there building their building their portfolio and same their body to be fit. So even though others might be pretending doesn't mean you should let it to affect yours .
Just continue hitting the number of pushups you could it either by set or all at once. To be well fit with good health.


That's an interesting point regarding lying about pushups and/or lying about portfolio size.

Maybe they are similar?  - though this whole forum is about bitcoin - and yeah there is allowance for other topics - and in regards, to bitcoin, I think that it has always been acceptable to talk about your portfolio in terms of hypotheticals rather than disclosing your actual holdings, even though some members have been fairly loose lipped with their specifics.  I surely say a lot about my own specifics, yet surely many times I also disclaim that the actual details may or may not be true and may or may not reflect anyone in the real world that I know.  

So frequently when talking about bitcoin, it is good to provide some frameworks that might reflect some kind of person that might be a somewhat middle of the road normie... or maybe someone who had a kind of demographics, while at the same time, in the end, if any of us are actually considering ourselves to be building our bitcoin portfolio, we still need to consider various tools for building and how realistic they might be in terms of our own financial and psychological circumstances.

Of course, pushups relates to health... and so there could be some motivations in regards to being deceptive regarding how much strength and/or health a person might have.

Day 37 for me.  My tentative thinking is that I will try to continue with 5 sessions per day, and I am thinking that if I need a break, then I will lower the number of pushups per session rather than lowering the number of sessions... yet I suppose there is flexibility either way... and maybe there could be some value to have some lighter days... and probably the greatest danger for any of us doing either many sessions or many pushups per session would be if any of us might start to feel any repetitive stress type injuries.. which I think comes from pushing ourselves too much, and if we have lighter days or lighter sessions, then we likely would reduce the likelihood of any repetitive stress type injuries.

OgNasty's above point about having a day that is already filled with a lot of physical activity - those surely could be days to have lighter days, but yeah, each of us have our systems in place... and I am surely not strictly sticking with 100 pushups per day, since my last two weeks-ish, I have had days ranging between 125 pushups and 195 pushups... 195 is the most that I have done in any one day, so far.

1) Self-Custody is a right.  There is no such thing as "non-custodial" or "un-hosted."  2) ESG, KYC & AML are attack-vectors on Bitcoin to be avoided or minimized.  3) How much alt (shit)coin diversification is necessary? if you are into Bitcoin, then 0%......if you cannot control your gambling, then perhaps limit your alt(shit)coin exposure to less than 10% of your bitcoin size...Put BTC here: bc1q49wt0ddnj07wzzp6z7affw9ven7fztyhevqu9k

You are definitely going to have those pains since you attempting this for the first time in a long while. Many of us felt those pains in the first few days. I remember I took some pain relief medicine and it really helped me. And I stayed consistent with it and gradually the pains stopped. You can also take the pain relief medicine if you want.
