I got 4 sets of 30 in today. Felt good. I don’t think I’ve intentionally went over 100 in a day before but I feel like I’m back in a pretty good groove. I’m eyeballing hitting 6,000 on April first. I wonder how close this thread is now to a combined total of 100,000 push-ups. Maybe we should schedule a check-in date.

yesterday had a WOD also including push ups went as followed

20-18-16-14-12-8-6
of
calorie on the echo bike
AB mat sit ups
pull ups
push ups
leg raises
 
after each round 8 front squats with 50kg

so this wod included 94 push ups

Over the time I heard most people say that push-up exercise is not hard, that it doesn't even transform ones body that it is an easy exercise, but after several push-up I have done and the experience I have gotten and my body look I begin to understand that push-up exercise is not easy as they have been saying or maybe there were not doing it well. So anyone that says push-up exercise is easy has never done it very well, normally push-up exercise are supposed to be a hard one otherwise the person is not doing it right.
Seeing the benefits in this push-up exercise I don't feel like giving up on it even though Bitcoin price increases to $100k and above.

This is a good improvement and achievement on your part. I'm happy to see everyone improving in this challenge. There has been a change in our bodies since we started this journey. I know you will want to continue with the 4 sets of 30 push-ups because you know how good it is for your body the first time you do it.

I'm happy to be part of this challenge (100 push-ups a day until bitcoin is $100k).At first when I saw the challenge I was pondering if I could meet up 100 push up a day,and I challenged myself that I can do it for the fact that bitcoin is involved to spice up our expectations.And I started my daily 100 push ups,40 in the morning,40 in the afternoon and 20 in the evening and now I'm used to 100 push ups a day because I'm still young,smart and active.I must confess that this challenge has built my muscles and I also look physically fit ever since I started this challenge.All thanks to Ognasty.

Good for you, I'm also hitting close to that number, consistency is the key and of course diet, need to take extra 500 calories per day just to maintain.

Congrats to others as well, for sure there will be some members who don't post it here but might doing the challenge silently. I asked some non-bitcoiners though, if they are willing to try this test and he said that he will do it on April 1 and then see how he will progress at least for a whole month.

There has been a lot of improvement in my push-ups. Yesterday morning, I was able to do 40 push-ups at a time, and it was my best for now. When I did up to 36 push-ups, I was struggling to hit the 40 push-ups because my bones were weak. I wanted to stop, but I had to suspend myself in the air to get some rest before I did the remaining 4 push-ups, and I completed the 40 push-ups at a time.
40 push ups is really a big deal who are new but if you can increase it gradually then the prescribed 100 push ups will be possible. I'm back from my illness and trying hard again and started at 15 on the first day there. My daily push-ups keep me motivated. I will be able to go over 30 from next few days. But even if I never get around to doing this, this thread has inspired me terribly. I would greatly improve my health to some extent. Moreover, if I can maintain this consistency, I will definitely be able to achieve my goals.

I have been doing 4 sets everyday 30 push-up per set. Some days I feel very tired but I have to discipline myself to carry on, Accepting it not only as a challenge but also taking it as general body development.

I will be adding pull-up, squats as well to be part the routine.

I might be right there with you.  I can't say I've experienced any waist pain yet, but my elbow is feeling the pain a bit. 
It's not really an easy task though. after accepting the challenge yesterday my mood change After I did 100push today. My arms and elbow has pass through hell. As a matter fact I was sleeping throughout today after I did it. My body is like a seperated motor part that needs to be fixed. But I believe consistency will keep the moving trian on track.
That means you really did it well the pains you received in your arms and elbow are good result that you did your push-up exercise better. Push up exercise is highly underated if you don't get those pains during and after your push-up it means you never done it well. Push-up exercise are supposed to be hard otherwise the person never did it right, but been consistence on it will help kill those pains.

worked out and i feel the need to have a target even if you are unable to meet up with it that will be better than doing it casually, I have been struggling getting close to 100 pushups for quite some time now because of the little advancement I added in my pushups,

I usually have 4 sets in two sessions that is 25,25, in the morning and in the evening but since my advancement I have not been able to be meeting up 100 pushups and there has been lots of mixed up in numbers but wasn't getting up to 100, I later realized that I have to change my game plan by reducing the number of the morning session and increasing  the evening session to become 3 sets  and it was like 20,20 in the morning and 20,20,20 in the evening, I mostly prefer the evening session because I know that when am done and after having my bath am already seeing myself close to the bed. Am so happy I was able to do it after days of struggling.

What are you up to?

All of my sets today have been 40 or 45.., and I suspect that I might be able to do 50 or 55, but only if I were to speed up.. .. but I am not really feeling like I can do anymore... so getting better seems to be a slow process..... but my number of sets per day continues to be 5 so I am still getting pretty good quantity of pushups for the whole day... ... but if that is my ONLY major exercise for the whole day.. then maybe there might be some need to add some other stuff here and there.. besides some of the stretching and just normal other activities that have some exercise but nothing major...

That might teach us to find some kind of a groove.. even though you had said that you were doing the slower pushups.. so yeah they are likely more difficult than the ones that I am doing... . which still are right around 1 second per pushup.. and I am frequently tempted to go faster so that I can do more.. and no matter what they hurt since I end up pretty much pushing myself to failure.. and if I slow down then I end up doing fewer.. so I am thinking that a couple of weeks of my measuring my pushup speed will help to inform me whether I might want to make adjustments to either the speed or the quantity or just keep going more or less with what I am doing.

that's nice mate , I'm pretty sure yah definitely feeling the burn right now . Hitting 100 pushups with slower pushups would be quite challenging, is almost like one pushing his limit hitting multiples normal pushups. If I by any chances try reducing my pushups speed and start focusing on slow pushups , it would definitely reduce my number of pushups. Well am actually thinking after hitting my  some slow pushups as an  extra ( through that it won't be able to affect my pushups count and Same time be more effective) after hitting my daily pushups.

I normally break mine pushups into two set  each ( morning and the evening), using 25,25 . Like during morning session I try all means to hit 50 pushups with the use of two set which is 25,25  . Same thing in the evening mostly before hitting the sack . Because anytime am done I always feel relaxed.

You are actually right bro, pushups is not that easy especially if you are doing it for the first time, but I believe that it not just happens in pushups alone, in life generally, the most difficulties you will eventually face is when you started, so I think that quite normal, but what I find really attractive about pushups is that it builds not just your hands, but every other part of your body, and gives you the required balance you need, just like walking out.

Anyone who told you push-ups are easy to do means the person is not doing the right thing and is not pushing above his limit. For one to maintain a certain number of sets and reps, the person must endure pain and have good stamina that will help him achieve it. Push-ups are hard to carry out.

I definitely agree with you, any one saying that doing push-ups are not hard might only be pranking you in such a way that he or she is only trying to Sweet tongue you in to giving it a try because no one does push ups and say that it is not hard whether the person did it well or not which ever way the person did it, it is still hard,  although there are sets of people that are very good at talking than getting down to it and I think those are the kinds of persons that could be saying pushups isn't a hard thing to do.

That's remind me of when I went to look for job in one steel company after some necessary interviews and test pushups was the last thing to do before you be finally employed, there where young and good looking men that where unable to do even one pushups they mess themselves up and where kick out of the company gate, because the company made it very compulsory because of the of nature of their work which requires agility, I got that job though I didn't stay long with them, so when I saw this I laughed  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes, and I decided to maximize the opportunity, pushups is not by talking it is by getting down to the real job,  some people might just over look what we are doing but you never can tell where you will find yourself tomorrow.

Bitcoin is headed to $100,000 and that's not speculation. OK, maybe it is, but the 100 Push-Ups A Day Until Bitcoin Is $100K challenge is real and has been echoing throughout the community for a week now, so I thought I would make a thread here for those of us who want to try and hold ourselves accountable.

This is a very interesting challenge and also very useful, friend. Because I am also someone who really likes sports, including doing push ups. Moreover, what is even more interesting is that this challenge will last until Bitcoin reaches a price of $100k. So this challenge will definitely be very exciting to do.
Therefore, I will also take part in this Challenge, and I will start it from today. Because for me doing push ups has become a very routine habit from 2021 until now. It was all because at that time (2021) I had high blood pressure (hypertension) and often took medication. But the problem is that if I don't take the blood-lowering medication, my blood pressure will return to high levels. So from there I started to learn a lot about healthy lifestyles, and I started exercising at home.

Starting from push ups, pull ups and also jogging. Then slowly all this paid off and finally my high blood pressure went down (without medication). So after I was healthy and normal again, I decided to continue these healthy habits until now. So for me, doing 100x push ups probably wouldn't be that difficult. Because after 3 years of continuously doing push ups and other sports, my body is getting more adapted and used to doing these things.

So today, March 30 2024, I will start taking part in this Challenge(100 Push-Ups A Day Until Bitcoin Is $100K). And hopefully the price of bitcoin can reach $100K soon.

And a little tip from me. If all of you are still having difficulty doing push ups up to 100 times. So don't give up and do it regularly. Because what I experienced after 2-3 weeks of doing push ups was that body was definitely starting to get used to it. And to make it easier, divide 100x push ups into 4-5 sets a day (20-25 times per set). So by doing this, I think it will be easier to achieve 100x push up repetitions, compared to doing 100x push ups at once.

This topic is very useful for a health conscious person and equally useful for a Bitcoin investor. I want to participate in this challenge and I will complete the challenge before bitcoin reaches 100k. I plan to complete my challenge from 30th March 2024. Although I can complete like 40 push-ups. I must complete 100 push-ups before I reach 100k bitcoins and every day I will try to increase this range.

Although in my case I need to increase my push-ups by 1/2 per day and I must achieve the 100 push-up mile plaque before the halving. Of course in this case I need to burn a lot of calories and do a lot of regular exercise. Maybe if I continue to exercise regularly and go to the gym every day, I will reach my desired milestone of 100 push-ups very quickly.

I got 4 sets of 30 in today. Felt good. I don’t think I’ve intentionally went over 100 in a day before but I feel like I’m back in a pretty good groove. I’m eyeballing hitting 6,000 on April first. I wonder how close this thread is now to a combined total of 100,000 push-ups. Maybe we should schedule a check-in date.


I have been able to do 10 to 12 push ups, it is so comfortable and makes the body healthy. I got a pain in the side of my arm (wrist) while doing physical exercise now the pain feels great. Since today is March 30th 2024, I will be able to do 20 push ups when it first starts on April 1st. And if the April halving takes place in full I will definitely prepare myself to do 30 to 35 push ups.
