In my own dating history, I have found that mostly I would not want to get into a relationship with a woman if I think that she might kick my ass or at least if she might be too much of a physical challenge if push comes to shove (especially when women are sometimes throwing their temper tantrums the guy likely would prefer to be able to keep them from over powering him during those occasions, if those kinds of occasions were to happen.. which I am not even saying such a thing is a certainty.. because there could actually be some (or maybe one) women who don't have temper tantrums).. but surely if you get to know someone then you can figure out their personality too, and since relationships should have a certain element of trust, neither side should have to worry about the other side physically overpowering them, even though in an overwhelming number of cases guys are going to have more physical strength than woman, absent the existence of some special circumstances.

Ordinarily and traditionally is a big fucked up for a woman or wife to beat his man up, though I do hear of such senero where wife beats up husband it  is bad for a woman to do such even if her strength is more than that of the man. But in my own case I always believe in the adage that says that a Lion and a lioness can never boast of equal strength though as a man too is not good to hit your wife because for me woman are defenseless they can easily faint, for there no part of their body one can beat.

Got another set of 55 push-ups in today and then finished with 45 more. This one went much smoother but I’m definitely pushing the limits of what I can do. I believe this is the first time I’ve done 100 push-ups in 2 sets. I’ve also noticed that I’ve stopped losing weight and have been adding it as a result of this challenge. In spite of looking thinner, I’m about 7 pounds heavier now then when I started.

Dang.  I'm curious how long that takes you to do 55 pushups?  Impressive sounding results!

Here is my report.  I did 35, 25, 15, 15, 15 in 5 1 minute intervals.  Still looking for that 40 burger.  Smiley

That is an interesting point about the speed of the pushups.  Several times I had mentioned that I started to keep track of the speed of my pushups, so I have about a month and a half records on my own speeds. 

Prior to actually timing myself, I had thought that I was doing about 1 second per pushup and maybe even a bit slower than that, and I found out that I was wrong - and mostly I was doing my pushups faster than 1 second each, and maybe such a thing continued to be true, and continued to be true during my sets with higher quantities of pushups.  I think that once I get up to my 100th day (and I am on my 95th right now), I am going to purposefully slow down my pushups, and really my recent 4 sets, over the last two days, I have purposefully slowed down to right around 1 second per pushup.. and I am afraid to try to do even slower than that, but I may well do that. 

Perhaps I will do some fast and some slow and then maybe try to maintain what will be my average of 200 pushups per day, so if I start falling short on my pushup quantity (meaning my average per day goes below 200, then I might do some faster pushups just to get my average back up).. That is my tentative consideration regarding how to change my pushups a little bit.. which also might allow me to consider changes in my hand position too.

And surely the punchline is that the quantity of pushups does go down when the are done more slowly, and for you  DirtyKeyboard, if you are taking 1 minute to do 15 pushups, those surely are slow pushups, and maybe I will work myself "up" towards that.. now that I am feeling pretty good about how my quantity emphasis had been playing out.. so there can be some needs to mix it up a bit.

Regarding your time in between pushup sets?  What do you say about that?  are you taking a bit of time between sets?

I'm not surprised that you did another 55 push-ups in a set. Since you have already achieved 55 push-ups in a set, it will be hard for you to do push-up that will be below 30 push-ups in a set because you will not feel any pain in your body. As long as you are active in this push-up challenge, you will keep improving in your push-ups because now your push-ups in a set will be between 40 and 50 push-ups. You will soon beat your new record of 55 push-ups in a set by another higher number than 55.

Tentatively, I am thinking of going the opposite direction, even though surely every once in a while, I am going to want to see how many I can do at once, even if it is at faster speeds.. so my record so far is 69, but I have had several sets of 60.. yet I am thinking that since I have 5 sets per day, I am going to start to shoot to make sure that I average in the ballpark of 40, but shoot towards more than 1 second per pushup or longer.. and maybe even having more pauses at the bottom and top.

Don't get me wrong.  I don't think that I have been cheating with my pushups until now, since I do believe that I am doing full pushups, but they have just been fast yet mostly consistent and mostly being able to see both improvements in the ease of the pushups but also stronger recovery times and less pain and/or feeling exhausted through the whole day.. which I think is part of being older - because it seems like younger folks would be able to have way better recovery time and less ongoing pain, even though surely all of us have likely been feeling some soreness from these pushups, especially if we are actually pushing ourselves to our limits in various ways.. and I can also see why some guys, especially those older or maybe more out of shape are going to feel some reluctance in regards to pushing themselves too much to the limits...

but surely the more that any of us do these pushups, then we can get better senses of what our limits are and then how much we might be pushing ourselves  to the limits.  For example, in the beginning, I just did my number of pushups without pushing  to the limits and I already knew that by just doing each of the sets, I was going to be sore, and so later, after doing the pushups longer and longer (more and more sets), there comes a kind of feeling of wanting to push to further limits, because just doing the full set has a feeling of not quite enough.. so maybe push an extra 5 pushups or something like that.

How i do my push up? As if laying facing down on a plane floor/surface, having your toes pinned on the floor and your palms kissing the floor then the start off, letting your elbows do the carrying of your body down and up as if laying down and trying to get up, repeating the process. On completing a move down up you count 1 and so on to heaven knows how many times you can do that carrying to count first round. Trying out again to see how many rounds and total number of down up movements you can accomplish.... That how I do my push up

Your description is weird.  There are all kinds of videos of guys doing pushups, and you could maybe say if you are doing your pushups like the guys in the video or in a different way.

From this I would characterize my own style as proper in terms of having my body straight, and also that I might need to pay more attention to making sure that I am getting the full range, which probably is going to be helped as I slow down my pushups a bit in the near future (which I just started working on a little bit).

Also it is not just how you do your pushups, but questions about whether you might be struggling could also be about how many pushups you are doing per set and how many sets you are doing through the day (or maybe you are doing you pushups at compressed times in the day - either can be o.k. depending on your own scheduling considerations).

From this article I probably do some version of military pushups, but there is nothing wrong with finding out about some variations, even if we might not want to do any of those variations.

My current tentative plan is that once I get to an average of 200 per day, then I am going to try to stay in the ballpark of maintaining an average of around 200 per day... ... so I am not sure if that is a good thing or even if I might end up deviating from my tentative plan... Life sometimes does get in the way in terms of keeping on doing something like this.. .. including that each of us is continuing at his own pace. and surely when some of us have been doing this close to 100 days (just finished my second set of my 95th day right now.  3 more sets to go for today.. )..

I've never timed myself but I'd guess that when I'm doing a set of 55 push-ups I do them faster than 1 per second.  It's much easier when you're going faster to get a lot of reps in.  Towards the end of the day sometimes when I have a small amount of push-ups left, say 20, I will do them MUCH slower.  Maybe 4-5 seconds each.  I also focus more on my form for smaller sets and getting a good burn going both up and down.  When I'm doing sets of 50+ push-ups, it's pretty much just me pushing up and letting gravity take me down for the most part.

Did anyone do "before pics" to prepare to take the "after pics" during the destined surge for Bitcoin to six digits? "300 Spartans at $100,000" memes should be all over the topic, and perhaps it's probably better than the "Laser Eyes to $100,000" cult meme? 🤔
No one sent his before picture in this push-up challenge; it skipped our minds because we were still trying to make this push-up challenge work out. But I and some members here sent our after pictures to show what we have achieved since we joined this push-up challenge. Maybe we will use the pictures we sent here to compare with our present look when bitcoin reaches $100k to know the kind of effort we have put into this push-up challenge.

Here's my report after finishing my today's pushups:

I will just highlight that I have officially crossed over an average of 200 per day, even though it has been a bit grueling and it is 5 days prior to my 100th day of pushups.. 

So, yeah, as I mentioned earlier, I am thinking that I am going to try to stick very close to 200 per day for the upcoming days (5 days or more).. and maybe even for some weeks after that.. just depending on how I feel about the idea of gravitating towards less emphasis on quantity - even though in recent days, sometimes when I had been starting out my pushups slow and maybe I am aiming for "only" 40 pushups in the set, yet if I am not getting tired by the time I am getting close to 40 pushups, then I might end up doing some extra pushups in there, which already happened to me several times in the past few days.. but that was prior to my reaching my average of 200 per day, so maybe I won't feel as much pressure for quantity now that I have officially reached that 200 average per day amount?... ..

So yes.. the tentative plan is that I am going to try for a while to just stay mostly around 5 sets per day of 40 pushups and trying to do my pushups with deliberately more slowness (as compared to how I had been doing them). .- maybe aiming for a bit more than 1 second or maybe even 2 seconds per pushup for a while (rather than my going continuously faster than a pushup per second - maybe I had been ranging something in the ballpark of 10% to 30% faster than a second for each of my pushups)... so yeah, I will see how that kind of a slower pattern of pushup style goes for me in the coming days and/or weeks. .and maybe there will be different kinds of modifications after that.. to try to keep some of this interesting and perhaps continuing to see slow and ongoing improvements along the way...

By the way, I did pictures on day 12 and pictures on day 68, so sure maybe I might be ready for pictures again at some point... maybe every 50 days or so?  But these days film is fairly cheap, too.. since I am using a digital camera (a phone).

1) Self-Custody is a right.  There is no such thing as "non-custodial" or "un-hosted."  2) ESG, KYC & AML are attack-vectors on Bitcoin to be avoided or minimized.  3) How much alt (shit)coin diversification is necessary? if you are into Bitcoin, then 0%......if you cannot control your gambling, then perhaps limit your alt(shit)coin exposure to less than 10% of your bitcoin size...Put BTC here: bc1q49wt0ddnj07wzzp6z7affw9ven7fztyhevqu9k

Thanks!  I just found some before "before pics" from 2019.  Can't tell too much of a difference, except I'm a bit bigger around the middle now.  I guess that's not too bad actually.  Get back to the baseline.  Smiley  Gotta keep pushin!

Got another set of 55 push-ups in today and then finished with 45 more. This one went much smoother but I’m definitely pushing the limits of what I can do. I believe this is the first time I’ve done 100 push-ups in 2 sets. I’ve also noticed that I’ve stopped losing weight and have been adding it as a result of this challenge. In spite of looking thinner, I’m about 7 pounds heavier now then when I started.

That is an interesting point about the speed of the pushups.  Several times I had mentioned that I started to keep track of the speed of my pushups, so I have about a month and a half records on my own speeds. 

Prior to actually timing myself, I had thought that I was doing about 1 second per pushup and maybe even a bit slower than that, and I found out that I was wrong - and mostly I was doing my pushups faster than 1 second each, and maybe such a thing continued to be true, and continued to be true during my sets with higher quantities of pushups.  I think that once I get up to my 100th day (and I am on my 95th right now), I am going to purposefully slow down my pushups, and really my recent 4 sets, over the last two days, I have purposefully slowed down to right around 1 second per pushup.. and I am afraid to try to do even slower than that, but I may well do that. 

Perhaps I will do some fast and some slow and then maybe try to maintain what will be my average of 200 pushups per day, so if I start falling short on my pushup quantity (meaning my average per day goes below 200, then I might do some faster pushups just to get my average back up).. That is my tentative consideration regarding how to change my pushups a little bit.. which also might allow me to consider changes in my hand position too.

And surely the punchline is that the quantity of pushups does go down when the are done more slowly, and for you  DirtyKeyboard, if you are taking 1 minute to do 15 pushups, those surely are slow pushups, and maybe I will work myself "up" towards that.. now that I am feeling pretty good about how my quantity emphasis had been playing out.. so there can be some needs to mix it up a bit.

Regarding your time in between pushup sets?  What do you say about that?  are you taking a bit of time between sets?

It takes about 30 seconds for me to do 20 pushups, and then I would rest for however long till the next minute comes.  If I'm going for more than 30 pushups in a set, they tend to be a little quicker.  I think later, I'm going to try something different and do a warmup set of 10, and then go for my max set.

I've never timed myself but I'd guess that when I'm doing a set of 55 push-ups I do them faster than 1 per second.  It's much easier when you're going faster to get a lot of reps in.  Towards the end of the day sometimes when I have a small amount of push-ups left, say 20, I will do them MUCH slower.  Maybe 4-5 seconds each.  I also focus more on my form for smaller sets and getting a good burn going both up and down.  When I'm doing sets of 50+ push-ups, it's pretty much just me pushing up and letting gravity take me down for the most part. 
Nice.  That all sounds like good pushin Smiley  Speaking of gravity, one could really do some quick pushups if instead of having your hands on the ground.  Your hands were grasping 2 parallel bars so you could do pushups, and pulldowns!

Well I think most of us that are newbie mighty find it deficult to upload picture as the forum hardly allow such but very soon as we keep improving such update will come in we are really growing, I never see value on push-up neither have ever know that push up help body build up and gives physical fitness like what is m experiencing for participating now ,t the worst anyone can do is to deceive yourself that your participating while your not because the benefits of this is beyond post count or merrit sourcing or whatever may be anyone reason for being here and lied without taking part but only generating figure. Only the excretes,the sweat that go out of my body show that I am really keeping myself safe from some unwanted metabolism of the body by building my immune system stronger through this exercise, I don't care what people say about woman on push up is not excuse for exercise it's my choice and it help my body.

A friend of my saw me and begin to ask if I have intensions of joining military that even in military is not mandatory discouraging me but fully knowing how this thing is helping me will give deaf ear to their saying.

Man, I can only imagine you guys getting buffed when bitcoin finally hits, I'm still trying to find my inspiration to do a workout because I've got a chronic injury so I can't do it wrong or even at a wrong timing. But I will probably participate with this, hopefully this would be more than just a fad to me and I take it seriously even when bitcoin finally reaches 100k. I love doing push ups and it's something that I've been doing consistently during my highschool, I didn't know why I stopped, I guess the stress and the lack of free time to do it is making this a problem to me but I know that I can make the time for it now, learning to do some scheduling and I'm probably good to go.

I had decided to stop reporting for a week now and let my numbers increase so when I give my report, everyone would be surprised, although i had already kept a journal of how each day of my excerise was and how many push-ups I was able to achieve during those time.

Day1
I was able to do a total of 150 pushups and It really strained my muscles and I had a lot of pain on my shoulder and when I asked my gym instructor from a gym I had registered sometime ago, he said it was because I wasn't getting the position of the pushup rightly.

Day2
I did only 50 pushup cause I couldn't bear the pain of it

Day3
I was able to do 80 pushups although the pain had subsided, i was a bit lazy and just wasn't well motivated for it.

Day 4
I was able to do 120 pushup

Day 5

150 pushups

Day6
 100 pushups

Day 7

175 pushups

Here's my report after finishing my today's pushups:

I will just highlight that I have officially crossed over an average of 200 per day, even though it has been a bit grueling and it is 5 days prior to my 100th day of pushups.. 
Wow! Congratulations on achieving an average of 200 push-ups in a day! It is not easy to be consistent with doing push-ups, but your determination has helped you to be active with this push-up challenge. JayJuanGee, you are showing a good example of a leader; you are just 5 days away from completing 100 days of being active in this push-up challenge. I still have a long way to go before I can achieve what you have achieved in this push-up challenge, but from what you have shown, with my consistency, I will get there one day. Congratulations in advance on your 100 days in this push-up challenge.

Man, I can only imagine you guys getting buffed when bitcoin finally hits, I'm still trying to find my inspiration to do a workout because I've got a chronic injury so I can't do it wrong or even at a wrong timing. But I will probably participate with this, hopefully this would be more than just a fad to me and I take it seriously even when bitcoin finally reaches 100k. I love doing push ups and it's something that I've been doing consistently during my highschool, I didn't know why I stopped, I guess the stress and the lack of free time to do it is making this a problem to me but I know that I can make the time for it now, learning to do some scheduling and I'm probably good to go.
Please don't force yourself to do push-ups any time you wake up since you have a chronic injury; just wait until you notice that your body is fit to do a physical exercise that day. You can just do 15-20 push-ups in a day so that you do not stress your body a lot or suffer from your chronic injury anytime you finish doing your push-up.

It takes about 30 seconds for me to do 20 pushups, and then I would rest for however long till the next minute comes.  If I'm going for more than 30 pushups in a set, they tend to be a little quicker.

Just starting today, I am purposefully focusing on doing 40 pushups per set, and my first couple of sets have resulted in 40 in 56 seconds and 40 in 46 seconds, so yeah  there can be quite a variance, and what seems to happen is that I am trying to do the first 25-30 pushups relatively slow, but when when I start to get to around 30 pushups, I start to feel signs of failure, so I have had to speed up in the end in order to get to 40 pushups, and maybe my recent practice is to do my target amount an then to put one more pushup in there, even if it is extra slow and maybe somewhat sloppy but it is kind of like making sure that I am totally failed, even though the pushups that I counted were mostly in proper form, with maybe some faster ones towards the end and maybe a bit sloppy on the last one or two.

But yeah punchline is that I am going to try to aim for getting to 40 pushups in 60 seconds or more.. maybe 40 pushups in 80 seconds might be a good goal, and perhaps I might be able to achieve this within a week or two.. Let's see how it goes... if I cannot achieve it in a week or two, that's no problem, I have patience, and surely whatever I am doing must be helping my muscle build and stamina in some kind of a way for me even to be making these kinds of proposed targets for myself.

I think later, I'm going to try something different and do a warmup set of 10, and then go for my max set.

I suppose that it could not hurt to have a little bit of a warm up of a few pushups, as long as they do not end up taking away from what you are able to do in the max set target.. so they would probably just to get you kind of warmed up.. and then maybe a few minutes of a break before you shoot for the BIG one. 

So far with my max sets, I had not really known that they were going to end up happening, since i would be doing the pushups and then when I start to get within about 10 to 15 pushups of my previous top, and if I am not really starting to feel signs of failure yet, then I might start to feel that I can push getting some extra pushups in there.. but sometimes the failure point will end up coming really rapidly, too... so sometimes, I will feel that I have a good chance of pushing some extra pushups, and then all of a sudden, I am short and at failure... so I am not really sure how to figure out my potential ability to get an ATH (new Max) in advance.

1) Self-Custody is a right.  There is no such thing as "non-custodial" or "un-hosted."  2) ESG, KYC & AML are attack-vectors on Bitcoin to be avoided or minimized.  3) How much alt (shit)coin diversification is necessary? if you are into Bitcoin, then 0%......if you cannot control your gambling, then perhaps limit your alt(shit)coin exposure to less than 10% of your bitcoin size...Put BTC here: bc1q49wt0ddnj07wzzp6z7affw9ven7fztyhevqu9k

Is my 70th day in this push-up challenge am really excited I came this far is a thing of joy seeing that this challenge has helped to transform me, keeping the body fit and healthy is my major joy in this push-up challenge.
On day 69 I did a total of 150 push-up both morning and evening.
On day 70 I did a total of 185 push-up both morning and evening.
Below is my report after today's push-up.

When I joined this push-up challenge, I used to be slow in doing my push-ups but when I increased my speed a little bit I discovered that when I'm slow in doing my push-ups I do fewer push-ups in a set while I do plenty of push-ups when I speed up my push-up. The good thing about slow push-ups is that you will feel the pain of every single push-up you do in a set. If I speed up my push-up, my body will start to get weak when I push up to 45 push-ups in a set before I will endure the pain of doing the remaining push-ups to get the number I want to do in a set. Today I will set a timer to know how many minutes or seconds I will use to cover 50 push-ups in a set when I am slow and when I speed up my push-ups.

There it is. Quite the milestone for myself as I hit 10,000 push-ups. It really shows what you can do over a little bit of time if you stick with something and work at it a little bit each day. I think there’s still a bit of time left before we hit the $100K price milestone, but hopefully Bitcoin’s price reaches $100K before I hit 100K push-ups.

Who have made this observation just like me that the pushups is very interesting in the morning mostly between 6am-8am likewise when push towards evening same time is also best, and is like one have better energy when you have not tasted any except if you support your self with water this are my experience as I continue the push up on daily basis as my bench Mark is 50 this morning I push 30 by evening I will push 20 my belly is going inside gradually as woman as would have tired belt even when I have given birth because of pot belly, thank for push up idea and the introducer to leverage some physical fitness problem many face without know they are The course for not taken good exercises.

Yes your right push up is good when the weather is cool mostly in the morning or evening period but if you stay where air conditioner are too you can still enjoy it. For the aspect of pot belly like our people do call beer stomach push up do wonders in flatting it. Many don't know the value of it till they try it though is very stressful but is only when you start it if your used to it it become an easy thing. Those that push 50,60even100 in one push us regularly practice it's like playing for them their body system has adopted it and if they don't even do it it will be a stress for them even.
