Well, he chose to be in that position so I don't see any reason to discuss whether or not he should train or anything like that.

He chose to be there and suffers all the consequences that may come from that choice. Whether he should train or not doesn't matter. He just needs to go in there and win.

I guess he will still try to trained in this fight. I mean this are professional athletes and so they are used to go and grind in the gym in preparation for a fight. And yes, he did accept this in short notice so most likely he is fully aware that training might be sure or maybe he has been in the gym already and keeping himself in shape so that when this kind of situation arises, he could readily accept it. This is still going to be exhibition fight so maybe both of them can be considered a rookie even though it looks like Jake has more experience in this kind of fights. And at the end of the day, Perry will most likely earn good enough money for this, with or without training.

I’m just bummed that such an exciting event for Netflix with them entering the realm of live sports has turned into a fight that nobody really cares about. We all just wanted to see Mike Tyson. However, Mike Perry's experience should not be underestimated because this can also end very much similar to Jake Paul's fight against Tommy Fury. Tommy Fury is not a very good boxer or a big name in boxing, however, he is a professional like Mike Perry.

Majority of his losses is by decision, when 11 out of 14 of his wins are by KO. Add 3 KOes from bare knuckle. Not much of an aged veteran imho.

I wouldn't say Mike Perry is nobody, but I also think that it's nobody in the means of marketing. Jake Paul wanted to fight and I am sure that he put some training for it as well and now that Mike Tyson can't, he just didn't want it to go to waste, but that's about it, I do not think that it would be watched that much at all.

Mike Tyson match doesn't seem to be cancelled neither by the way, I think it is just postponed, and I bet that they are going to have it if Mike Tyson could heal back, he is going to lose a lot of training time, so he needs to rest, get better, and then train for it as well. This is why we should consider how we could end up with something that is going to end up getting tougher by the day if you ask me.

He might not be 58 like Mike Tyson, but he has been around a long time. Around a decade of experience and having been released from the UFC would indicate that he is in decline. Luckily for him, he is able to find success in BKFC where he is competing against other fighters who are no longer good enough to be in the UFC. That is the niche he belongs in, but I can’t blame him for taking the Jake Paul payday. Considering Jake’s level, he still has a puncher’s chance, but there should be no doubt that he was chosen because he is considered an easily beatable opponent.

A stomach ulcer is not a simple disease, recovery will require strict diet and rest, perhaps half a year will be enough for Mike to return to duty, but preparation and such attention to the fight will be far from a state of rest, which may aggravate everything again. I think that this fight will have to happen because Mike wants to get his money, I’m sure that anyone in his place would want the same, so I have almost no doubt that this fight will take place, but I’m worried about what condition Tyson will be in...

Haha this is joke, if the person saying all that is just an ordinary fan who has never done any fighting then I sure they are just making an emotional statement about what is on their mind.
A fighter will not care about all that, even if they have to suffer various injuries due to the fight they are fighting, but they have guarantee and the money will be included in their income without any deductions for healing costs.
People out there just talk without feeling what every fighter goes through, indeed they fight to get money, especially fight like this that would be fought by former boxer like Tyson.

Moreover, so far Paul has always fought fights that don't seem worthy of being considered truly great fights, all of them are those who are not all professional boxers.

I wasnt expecting that ulcer health issue did really make out such delay for this exhibition fight on which there's nothing we can do. Sorry for those Tyson fans out there or even with Jake
that wanting to see this fight to be realized. When health issues kicks in then delays would really be that somewhat expected. As for some replacement on which same as you said
