Well done to the winners.It was a nice pool which as a test format was a good one however as I said before it needs huge improvements like the ones I mentioned some posts ago in here.It would be nice if the amount of points needed to pass a round to be predefined and this would make sure that not only one person would go down.Many people per round would most probably be eliminated and this can lead to fewer people fighting for the top spot and as such would lead to many more persons using the re buy in feature.

I saw earlier I won this competition sharing together with 2 other guys from BSFL also, but I could only post now Totally didn't expect it with the point gap, but somehow the entire 2 weeks Spain has really saved my ass.

First the trust in Alcaraz and Spain won me playoff in BSFL, and now full points in the final plus bonus of picking Spain to win EURO, after 2 shit rounds in the beginning, this was so cool, and what a prize, even shared it's amazing!

While its true that its embarasaing to see the way England plays considering the talent they have, when deciding on Southgate FA probably takes into consideration sucess of Engalnd national team (or to be more precise, lack lof it).

When it comes to EURO, in 40-50 years prior Southgate all they had was one semifinal, and when it comes to WC one 4th place, so its not like they were super successful. And not even when they had better team than they have now. Btw not defending Southgate, just telling you how possibly people that are deciding might look at the situation.

While back to back finals in the Euro is definitely progressive for England as a national team over the past half a century, we can't argue that this side have like the best caliber of players in every position and what they've achieved shouldn't be considered as over achievement because of the type of players they have at their disposal. Players like Palmer, Eze, Watkins and Toney wouldn't not be sitting on the bench for majority of the nation side that played in this year's tournament.

My biggest observation and opinion of this team is that the coach really needs to find the best way to integrate Jude Bellingham into his lineup, because if you ask me Foden had an awful tournament, and Saka could have it better too, but in my opinion the Bellingham-Foden forced partnership literally inhibited Foden's performance, and as such Foden would have been better coming of the bench, Bellingham was played almost as a No 9. in Real Madrid many times and it worked well for them, while Bellingham presence is a very evident within the opponents box, he's not as creative as you'd see with players that keeps possession to create chance, that's why Pedri and Dani Olmo worked perfectly for Spain, because there is a Fabian Ruiz and Rodri, in the midfield both. England found it really hard to create chances off possession, and that's because because Bellingham doesn't play a possession based game, while that's where their best link up could have been Rice and Mainoo --> Bellingham, then Bellingham ---> Foden and Saka.

I'd even say if they must start Bellingham and Foden then England best lineup should imo be a 4-2-3-1 with Pickford; Defenders; Mainoo, Rice; Foden, Palmer, Saka; Bellingham.

Congratulations to all the winners of the competition! Seeing 3 players winning the big prize is really interesting. I wish I was also able to do some good things in Last Man Standing but it was a really unlucky run for me. Being eliminated in the quarter finals by collecting 0 points in it was a shame.    But it was still fun and exciting to be a part of the competition so thanks for the opportunity.

I'm still sad about England's not being able to win the Euro as I could have made a big profit by a bet I made at the beginning of the tournament.

Well man you are just clearly defending him. It's the players quality that helped them to reach the final, not the weird strategy that commanded players to defend tightly after scored 1 goal against Serbia. Same situation like Di Matteo & Chelsea in UCL 2012, where players got tired of AVB's strategy and then decided to give their best shape after the manager got sacked while the caretaker Matteo didn't really have solid experience at that time. I'm even sure that Steve Holland as Gareth's assistant could take the team into the final as well.

No I am not, and I even wrote that the way they play is embarrassing to watch, considering the players they have. Of course I would like to see someone else who will make them play better football, but my opinion on the matter doesn't matter.

What I merely speculated is the way FA is thinking and you have to consider that if you want to understand why they kept him at the helm of their national team for 8 years and might even longer despite them playing the way they do.

Thank you mate!! Yes, anyone who knows me in BSFL understands my bad luck there. Bottom placed finish every time I struggle in division 1, then earn back promotion in very hard way after losing half season finally winning all the rounds in the end.

Then same in this competition, lowest surviving score in first 2 rounds, then Spain save my ass in the late stages. Perfect score in Final plus bonus of 2 points in Pre-Tournament for choosing Spain. Fantastic results and I'm very happy

I know LMS is over but hey, I had to spend the freebets, so technically, this thread is still relevant Champions League qualifiers. Where little dreams can make some big changes. Put all 3 of my freebets from LMS on the underdogs (simple rule, away teams get some weird price boosts that don't make sense, so why not?).

The first one hit in injury time (score shows 3-1 but that's after extra time and penalties, FT score was 0-1 and home team actually were playing to survive.

Second team actually won the second leg 3-0 so I thought the odds were way too good too... outshot their opponents 5 to 2, but only managed a draw.

Third team not yet played but Georgian teams I have been betting on qualifiers ever since Georgia did well in Nations League -- this is probably the last season bookmakers price Georgian teams down.

P.S. Flora Talinn was 20/1 and are now leading 0-1 at HT, but I thought Estonia are generally too weak, and they did lose the first leg 5-0! Did I miss an upset here?
