So it is more like 1 B vs 10 B. Also NAS has already a marketcap of 2000 BTC, so a 10:1 trade would value NHZ at 2000 BTC too. Seems appropriate. Or do you think, that you can jump into the ranks higher from the start?

It will be not that easy to tell because there are so few nhz available and no market yet. It will depend on how nhz guys value their system comparing nas. It seems they believe nhz system is much better than nas.

Does a hallmark node mean a node with an IP address? For instance, I am using internet service from a cable company and if I get an IP address from the cable company my node will be a hallmark node, right?

Want to the answer too.

Hi, i'm very curious about this coin!

I represent NXT Lite https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=498662.0

Could you please specify some links i would like to read more about the foundation and your beggining campaign!

As we are trying to build our foundation, we tried to go with NXT as a prime base, but we failed to many issues with it, so we decided to rebuild everything on node.js!

We are trying to find ways to make our community better! If you don't mind check us out! As we consider making our way through and gathering possibilities for partnership !

Any feedback will be gladly accepted!

Thank you

Welcome Smiley
Not sure what you wanna know, we don't have much more infos than written here and on our forum. Why don't you just join us on irc and we chatter there?

Thank you, i would gladly join for more information. Don't hesitate to check our coin, your feedback will be gladly accepted.

Hi,

I am slightly confused. Can someone please explain first, how do you actually get coins between 4/19-4/21 with the block explorer easter egg hunt?

Second, please explain the upper limit of coins and how much the coins/day represents. Its funny that you have a set amount of coins per day...but yet no % set as to how much this represents? Meaning....you could be giving away 1% of the total and create and keep the rest for yourself???

Answers to these would be very helpful...otherwise i good idea. I think the nodes should be a high % BTW. just my two cents...

The beauty with an easter egg hunt is that you have to search for the egg or the "treasure". It will be on the homepage at random places, at random times during the date above.

The upper limit is 1B, and will always be. There is no limit in percentage of the total amount of NHZ that we give away for bountys per day. Some days will be more, some will be less (i hope not), it depends on the achivement in each bounty. Everything that is helping the currency deservers a bounty. Even us, in the development team is working for bountys. If you are talking about the percentage per day that is given away for running a node (one of many different types of bounty work), it depends on how many nodes are running. It is 666 NHZ per node.

Thanks for your input!

Bounty idea is interesting, but as organized, it is merely a CPU coin masquerading as a NXT POS clone.  And, CPU coins are never successful.

Botnet mineable?  Check
Value capped at cost of electricity? Check  {if value too high, just buy a node for $5/month}
Easily Scalable? Check

And, I have not gotten to the automatic Server Bounty System which appears to be centralized control (and trust).

Not really - hardware is useless without a static ip, because you won't get a payout if your node doesn't reach the uptime limit of 24 hours under one ip. So botnets are pretty useless, and scalability has its limits.

The value is capped for now, but we don't mind. We didn't create NHZ with speculation in mind. Investors can't expect a pump (and thus no following dump) until distribution is over, which in return makes it a lot easier for us to give out fair bounties for other stuff. After that, the free market will have enough time to play with it.
And yes, during that phase NHZ is clearly centralized. Like every PoS coin in the beginning it's a matter of trust, our beginning is just a little longer to reach the goal of broader (and thus more fair) distribution.

Could you give a comparison between next and next horizon? You know that you are no the first one talking about forking next, right? As far as I understood, you are the first one to actually have done it, though.

The current main differences between NXT and NHZ: NXT is only tradable, NHZ is not.
Sooner or later this will change, while additional differences will emerge. Our goal is a much broader distribution and functionality with privacy in mind instead of focusing on the speculative aspects.

The community can bring in its skills and ideas, and get a stake in the coins by that. This is another difference to all the other clones/forks, which are dependend on donations for future development.
