One pool having 84% of the network hashrate can't be good for the coin, so for some of you mining at okaypool or new miners please consider some of the other pools. While I would love you to join http://qbc.cryptoADHD.com the choice is ultimately yours.

I removed the line, if that is what you meant, but result is the same. Btw which setting do you have in miner, I mean IP and RPC?
Mine.bat file: \path\to\sgminer.exe -k darkcoin -d 1 -o 10.x.x.x:56789 -u foo -p bar -I 13 --worksize 256 ..etc quebecoin.conf: <--- no rpcconnect= here so it binds to all interfaces rpcallowip=10.x.x.x rpcport=56789 rpcuser=foo rpcpassword=bar addnode=54.86.39.92 addnode=54.85.54.67 addnode=54.86.58.113 addnode=54.86.60.197 addnode=54.86.60.189 addnode=54.84.203.45 daemon=1 server=1 listen=1 wallet.bat start quebecoin-qt.exe -conf=c:\users\my-userid\appdata\roaming\quebecoin\quebecoin.conf This starts the wallet and syncs even if I delete the peers.dat file. The config file is read and my miner can connect and solo mine. No, won't work. I didn't have problem like this until now with other wallets.

wallet works fine , mining is fine too , great work dev , compliments
Thank you, it's great to hear it. The anger runs easily on bitcointalk.
Quite impressed by how stable all of this is going to be honest, you have a crazy amount of hashpower! Took me a while to find an available X11 rig to rent lol.
The coin itself is amazingly stable and responsive, very happy about it, especially with other coins have 2 or 3 failed launches. I think the quality of the product shows itself. Plus the QT client buttons are nice and blue! It feels alive now, I'm really glad the mining launch started. I have no idea where all that power is coming from though to be honest, maybe people realised this could be huge when they saw mentions on TV and in the papers popping up. I'm adding a 100 QBC bounty for compiling the Québecoin-QT client for Mac. I had to give back the machine before compiling unfortunately and it was an old macbook pro which wouldn't do anything I told it to. Next wallet update will need a fix for the .conf/-server option and if possible add a cool background to the wallet Workaround to wallet .conf issue: start it from a .bat file containing something like the following: start quebecoin-qt.exe -conf=c:\users\your_userid\appdata\roaming\quebecoin\quebecoin.conf Should fix the -server issue. I'm solo mining to test it now but won't keep doing it with this diff level. Worked for me for solo mining

I know you didn't bother reading through any of the things I wrote in this thread. If you don't like QBC, go mine something else, it's as easy as that. The coin hasn't forked, it's not a scam and I'm here after over 40 hours with no sleep to make sure everything works. I'm sure tons of developers will be as active as I am though.

Yep, and http://qbc.nicemining.pw is working great with rising hashrate too... So this coin is primed for working great if only people start spreading the hashes around and make sure not to send them all to the same pool!

Yeah.. I made the fork statement... haven't really slept either and got mixed messages from an IRC chat... SORRY DEV !! While its been a horrible launch, you certainly are working long and hard. I really need sleep, like I have no doubt you too. THE BLOCKCHAIN HAS NOT FORKED !! IT WAS VC (i think) THAT FORKED EDIT: Also, http://minep.it are a GREAT pool !! found 2 blocks, one in less than half an hour, so luck is on our side

100 Confirms after mining Kreative. Also you can download the new Windows wallet in the OP I just posted. I removed the "é" characters which were causing people trouble with their .conf file and recompiled everything. Finally fixed my compiling environment!

Windows wallets within 15 minutes was not the end of the world, I've fixed my compiling environment too now so there won't be anymore trouble. Québecoin has not forked like you said, we are rock solid! Be sure to pick up the fixed windows wallet above and I'll take care of the MAC wallet as well. Sleep can wait!

No need for that anymore, after new wallet everything works as it should. Anyhow this is very immature from developer side.

New wallet syncing ok here without needing munged conf file name or command line conf= option.
