How much does anonibet owe you from the contest?

cost me 0.55 BTC until I suspected a SCAM and stopped...

AAAAARARRRRRRGGGGG!!! I feel soooo dumb... should have known better!

opened a new account to participate in their contest. NO WAAY I play there other wise... their odds are very bad but I figured with the extra $$$ from the contest it could worth it... placed many bets for a few days and earned 65 points... at that time first place had only 9 points...

As soon as I posted my bets here something very weird happened... all of a sudden two completely newbies who just opened their bitcoin talk accounts came in and posted tons of BIG bets, just enough to beat me.

I suspected it was Anonibet participating in their own contest but had no way to prove figured I have no chance beating them so I stopped... cost me 0.55 BTC trying!!!

...then I came across the profile of one of the winners...

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

And also the winner of the meme contest isn't the one who should be.

Yes exactly, my time is very expensive, but I really do care about Bitcoin community and Bitcoin ecosystem. This is why I am spending my time here @ bitcointalk. I really hate when bitcoin users are scammed directly or indirectly. I stated: anonibet.com is SCAM. Believe me, search engines are indexing bitcointalk.org very good and very fast. You are ignoring one simple question, because you have nothing to say. The question was - Please explain us that move:

loool, i can asure you i am a regular customer...i bet for fun

yeah so why did you delete your facebook page immediately after I post if you have nothing to hide? Panicked??

it was there since 2011 and you suddenly remove it?

...luckily google has it cached! everyone go now and see...

http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:9rf8ywtQbEEJ:www.facebook.com/pages/AnoniTips/547383592049788+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk

ANONIBET U R A PIECE OF SCAM !!!

It is not my job to investigate such therefore you are seeking an explanation from the wrong person. Anonitips facebook page is there as of now, and i did not see the part where it was removed. Feel free to contact Anonitips in your own Capacity. Goxcraft, all you have ever done on this thread is to call Anonibet a Scam. Please bring forth evidence of the point at which you were Scammed by Anonibet. Your argument does not hold water and for the sake of not polluting the thread, I will leave you to post as you wish. Instead of spending valuable time replying to baseless scam accusations, i have been instructed not to entertain you further. We have bigger projects we are working on at Anonibet.

Regards,

John

John-

You sound like a nice guy and all... but goxcraft has made it as about as transparent as it's going to get.  There is obvious lying going on here (something no one wants to see from the oldest and supposedly "best" book).
It doesn't take a brain surgeon to realize what's going on here....

The only reason I am even getting involved is because I was a victim of bitbook (all documented) and have since turned to an advocate for the bitcoin gambling community.
I was trying to help out Michael (info@anonibet.com) when he was at a loss of words and had to dispatch you to save the day.  Fact is someone who works for your company won the contest and (very unsuccessfully) attempted to cover his tracks.  Too bad for anonibet that goxcraft is smart and while it probably isn't worth his time, Anonibet isn't looking like this ambassador of a sportsbooks they claim to be.  Forget your crummy odds at this point, you're jacking around us players!

Stuff like this give Bitcoin a bad name and that's the last thing we want!   Wake the f up people.

LOL anonibet truly thinks we're idiots.

How is it that older members that have been around the forum and winning the contest all of a sudden are beaten by brand new accounts who have no other posts other than massive UNBELIEVABLE betslips.

There is no transparency here. You are crooks. Should put up a post in scam accusations regarding this promotion.

that's a good idea i opened a new thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=697256.0 what else can we do to alert other people of this scam?

I think you have done a good job of alerting people. They got caught, plain and simple. If they had any integrity at all, they would refund all players coins that played in their little scheme. I don't bet that much, but one thing is for sure, I wont bet at anonibet.

I don't really know much about this contest or who won or anonitips, but just reading over this really quickly one thing was apparent to me.  Just because anonitips' facebook page says its website is anonibet means nothing.  I could go on my facebook and say my site was anonibet as well without any verification...  just something I noticed.  I'm not saying its not very sketchy though!

There have been rumors of cheating by Anonibet in their contest so I read the whole thread and did some research. joeland won 10 BTC by winning the contest. He joined bitcointalk on 4/26 and then made his first post on 6/8. The post was in regards to Webetcoins. On 6/27 joelad made posts concerning the contest with Anonibet. If there was cheating going on then why would the winner of the contest be legit?

If a book is recommended, a lot of research will be done to help ensure the reputation of peepsplace.com. Here is another thing about Anonibet.

A player was overpaid 15 BTC. Anonibet took full blame for the mistake. They even went so far as to say that the player wasn't a cheat. I don't remember the exact wording but it had the same meaning. The player did pay back anonibet. Anonibet had an outage. Every player that emailed anonibet received .1 BTC for the down time. Anonibet opened in 2011 and has a maximum withdrawal of 500 BTC.

i think contest winners are anonibet employees... but i could only prove one... read my story... anonibet over reaction and silence made it clear... they tried to get rid of evidence...

Anonibet cheated me in their world cup contest!!!

They participated in their own contest to keep the money for themselves!!!

AAAAARARRRRRRGGGGG!!! I feel soooo dumb... should have known better!

UPDATE :  immediately after my post anonitips facebook page was deleted, then when I showed a cached version on google they put the facebook page back up but removed all links to anonibet.com from the contact info... mmm... clearly an over reaction, trying to get rid of evidence... that's what u do when u have something to hide...

luckily, google has the original facebook page cached with anonibet.com address in the contact info :

http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:9rf8ywtQbEEJ:www.facebook.com/pages/AnoniTips/547383592049788+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk

anonibet claims the winner is just a regular customer and did not want to explain how come he has a facebook page since 2011 with their address in the contact info.

what do you think?

Ryank that facebook page made on 2011, when Anonibet was started their business, everything can't  be coincidence.

And anonitips just registered his account June 30, 2014, 11:12:13 PM. There is so many thing looks suspicious.

Yes, you could but why would you (or anyone else) unless you were actually connected to them?

At worst, anonitips was/is an employee of Anonibet. From the interactions that I've had with Michael, he is very honest. There is no way that he would knowingly be involved in a scam contest.

I'm a no one just like everyone else. I look into all complaints.

When cash books with banners had problems, banners came down immediately. If Anonibet tried to scam players, I would go to Reagan (owner of Peepsplace) and the banner would immediately come down.

Peeps, doesn't matter much, because when any company announce contest, they don't allow employee or related to company.
Other thing James was clearly denied that Anonitips ever related to Anonibet. He always said that anonitips also just another Anonibet user.
So many things need to clear from Micheal, and why he is not responding here after so much chaos, his silence also showing suspicions .
