Malcolm must be a beast of a programmer to have dkne this task in 2 weeks. It's one thing creating a coin but to update code that is outdated is 100 times harder. The future looks bright on the Dev front for guldencoin.

This is number 1 reason most coin die because devs that create coin are not real Dev. A real Dev is able to keep coin on latest patch and features. Create coin is very easy but hard to maintain.

I spoke to my technical adviser about your plan. He says go straight for multi algorithm and not waste time stay on scrypt only. He say scrypt dominate by multipools and if you give back over 500 blocks a day then it will be mainly multipool. Sha256 has better spread for miners as more ASIC distributed. GPU and CPU miner will dump too but you open door for more investment as you include all miners. Digibyte price jumped 5 times when multi algorithm came. Other scrypt coins gone PoS, best get off scrypt only fast it is dominate by cartels. Just advise take or leave.

Is it possible to drop scrypt when MultiA gets introduced?

Possible yes, in terms of which algorithms the multi algo uses anything is possible, the real question is whether it is a good idea to do so or not and that is an open question.

Fantastic update team Gulden. I even sent this to a friend as it's very easy on the eyes and a pleasure to scroll through. The old timeline was fine for tech geeks like myself but this is brilliant for new users to look at. For current crypto users it will get them as excited as SuicidalTendencies unbelief that such a coin exists. This is now a great promotion tool which I will share with a lot of others. So thank you team Gulden .

@SuicidalTendencies - Most of the top alt coins are manipulated and propped up by people with lots of btc to try get more btc out of unsuspecting and noob users. Guldencoin is the safest coin to invest in right now. I doubt you will lose where the others I can't say the same for.

Agree.  I got in at the last pump i think i bought 100k at. 6btc or more.  But with the current development for this coin.  Number of merchants accepting and community help of this coin.  I have no worries that im at loss right now.  There a very slim chance that this coin wouldnt go to 10k sats

So yesterday we had the second Guldencoin meetup ever. This time in Zeist at Café Bommel, one of our proud Guldencoin merchants. Me and Deaurin came in first, but others soon followed. My girlfriend decided last minute not to join us this time, but we had at least one lady present. Chromedome and his girlfriend, who works at Villa Ticca, were present.

Not everyone who said they would come showed up for whatever reasons, but we had a nice time nonetheless. We got to talking about merchants, what could be improved and the owners of Café Bommel shed some light on what could be improved, their thoughts and their ideas. Some cool stuff came up that at a later date will probably be revealed in a more elaborate explanation.

It also became very clear that we need to do a lot more meetups. Not just to catch up with each other in real life, but also to get more new people involved and in a one on one conversation. It is very cool to see how easy people catch on once you can explain and show them hands on how it all works. It also allowed recent member of our community Zutshi to share his fresh thoughts on NLG. Very productive and fun to hear different sides of the community's experience both on the forums and in the outdoorsy fashion we call real life.

From around 1:30 PM till about 5-6 PM GJ, Rijk, Deaurin, Patrick, Zutshi, Chromedome and myself spent that time drinking and laughing. Cookie and Sebass couldn't make it due to car trouble and were briefly stuck on Ameland as well. Chromedome's girlfriend left a little earlier, but it was cool of her to come!

LTEX was in the Ardennes with his family so couldn't make it, but we ate some snacks and drank some beers on his behalf. So thank you for that LTEX Wink We spoke of KwartjeTerug and how we could make similar projects go live to get positive exposure and share the pre-mine in a more efficient manner like KwartjeTerug. A few cool ideas came up. As well as several different pre-mine jokes Cheesy.

After we left Café Bommel we went out to get some food and ended up getting a table for 7 and enjoyed some more beer and tapas.

Good to see Guldencoin doesn't rely on btctalk anymore. A lot more activity on the main forums I see, I just need to learn some Dutch now. Smiley

Sounds like fun... my brother and I might join for next event. Where is next event taking place?

There are talks on the forums about doing a BBQ this summer. https://community.guldencoin.com/t/zat-4-april-2015-feest-meeting/835/77

Good to see Guldencoin doesn't rely on btctalk anymore. A lot more activity on the main forums I see, I just need to learn some Dutch now. Smiley

We have an English section on guldencoin forum
