That would not be a good idea. Guldencoin work so hard to be best and then give there services away freely to less deserving coins wanting a free ride.

I have to agree with Tamilee, gotta keep the things special to guldencoin with guldencoin which makes it unique and more usable then most alternatives.

Well no, because it isn't just new coins from miners that are available on the market, people can and will still choose to sell the coins they currently hold
What it does mean is that there will be a lot less trading coins from miners flooding out the trading from regular users, so the exchange prices are likely to closer reflect what regular users value the coin at instead of what miners happen to be dumping for at that moment...

Ripple is essentially a centralized 100% premine coin so it doesn't count, if it had a PoW component like Doge or DGB which is also high supply coins the price would be under 100 just on multi-pool dumps alone. They don't have this issue.

Hé Bram, ik was voor een publicatie op zoek naar achtergrondinfo over NLG en bedrijven die het accepteren en kwam op je website (althans, mij werd verteld dat jij er achter zit). Ik kreeg al klikkend het gevoel dat die website nogal wat dode links bevat, wat heel vreemd is voor een goed beheerde directorysite, toch? Of wordt die niet meer beheerd? Dan kan hij beter verdwijnen want dit zet mensen op het verkeerde been en het komt knullig over. Een steekproef leert dat in elk geval de volgende links op een error eindigen maar onder de merchants zijn er een groot aantal met alleen een lege pagina. Die hebben kennelijk zoveel aan NLG verdiend dat ze stil zijn gaan leven :-)

Thanks for the link!  Bytecoin (BCN) with 184 billion total coins (10x NLG) has a current market cap of $8 million USD and most of the coins were minted first 2 years..   will be interesting how this one pans out..
