Development update:
Just to confirm the block reduction will take place at block 250k, the last block with a reward will be block 12850000 and block 12850001 will be zero rewards and rely totally on fees from that point onwards. This equates to 1.68 billion coins after roughly 60+ years.
So, total amount of coins will stay the same? Thank you for that. 100%

Can somebody help me. Perhaps a dev? I read about the free guldencoins for every dutch person. So I add a campaign on one of my websites: www.bitcoin-wiki.nl. After one week we got ton of messages of people who paid for the SMS and did not get their 'free guldencoin'? Then a friend placed a question in this thread and his comment was deleted. Just that? What are the dev's upto? Communism is so 1800... When and where did you read about this? The free Guldencoins campaign has been put to a halt for a while for quite some months now. Due to a ton of fraudulent attempts of getting free coins. Have you gone throuh the trouble of going to guldencoin.nl to see if the campaign was still live before putting up the campaign on your site? Pre-mine is used to pay for community projects amongst many other things. A way to distribute can be one of those projects. If you have good ideas, we'd love to hear them! Hi Buerra, As you should know the campaign requires the user to visit the website, send an SMS and wait. I tried it myself a few months ago and yes I got the coins. Also the users had to sent a sms by an semi-automated system, so it would be odd enough that you leave it on.. In a timespan of a month I got about 15 mails from users before I took it off, which means you took quite some time to put it under construction. No FUD intented, but since it is one of the pillars of the project (A premine used for Dutch citizens) it is odd it don't work I am not holding either this coin or EFL, because I think there is no future (yet). Your enormous efforts (good job on that) proves that.

For non Dutch users, there is a reason we are the best team to never win a football world cup. Majority of Dutch people don't believe in other dutch people and don't want to see other Dutch people succeed. We stubborn and full of pride and reason why there is two dutch country coins. Guldencoin might end up being one of the best coins in the world and the majority of Dutch will be the last ones to buy in , even ones in the crypto world. Lately I have been browsing the forums and I see Dutch people who have invested in coins that turn out to be scams and they still won't look at guldencoin. That is the Dutch way. I plan to change my name today as moderator confirmed they don't rename btc accounts.

Guldencoin community must start looking out for cheap scrypt mining hardware. Potcoin is also going full PoS and PoW phase will end fast, that is another larger scrypt coin moving off the algorithm. Just a few more scrypt coins do the same and scrypt profit switching pools will start closing shop. Dedicated pools could make a come back?

Why come here now if it didn't work months ago?

They've got some major fork issues at the moment because not all the pools updated. Credit to guldencoin for such smooth updates in the past.

I noticed on coinmarketcap over last week that it have purchases on litebit for over $100 volume every day and yesterday over $300 USD, is people that purchase from litebit and guldenbuy end(mainstream) users not interested in trading? Isn't this a good sign guldencoin making inroads into public space?

Nice article, I know in Netherlands we more equipped then most countries to lead the charge on crypto revolution. Future job creation will all be online and not in offices, bitcoin and guldencoin cuts out the middle man. The skill to create your own website(business) is going to be as necessary as being able to use email back in late 90s.

Just released by Buerra: Very nice community mining offer when "switching gears" will take place 1) Get your share of total mined coins. 2) Get your coins from the investment in this IPO. https://community.guldencoin.com/t/community-mining-ipo-switching-gears-session/1150(English in the second part of the link) Total packages to be sold: 100. Packages left: 86 (edit: 79 now...... 75..... 71......goes fast ) Just as with the IPO for the iOS wallet, hope this will be also such a succes! Maybe Rijk can make a nice promo eyecatcher for this?

This is really good way for non miners to contribute towards mining. Buerra I will like to take part in this but will confirm next month how many packages. In case all 100 packages are taken by the time I purchase will you sell more and extend the mining duration ?

Don't worry though, if this is a success we can do it again. Mining has to happen anyway, so why not make it profitable using what we have in the pre-mine? There's enough to go around so I'm sure we can do another round if we do sell all 100 packages this round.
