Stay on 1000 rewards and you will need a very patient team and community that doesn't care about price but keeps building without seeing results. When last did you see /GeertJohan post on these forums or the main forum? I have no doubt he would be posting every day and doing development if the price was 2000 because he could see the results of his work gaining value. Higher price and marketcap brings in services without you asking for it. I build a service the first thing I do is add the top 20-50 coins and then look at others. A low price/marketcap coin can be ignored because folks building services don't have time to investigate the millions of other alt coins. This is why I went from a neutral stance to agreeing with the team. It's very unfortunate but it's the way the world works and it's human nature to pulled towards overall positive trends. Price evaluations is what you asked for with bitcoin price about the same.Next year: 1000 reward. 120 - 150 --> Marketcap would be slightly lower as price devalues by more then half but coin supply grows to cover the marketcap loss. 100 reward. > 600 --> Marketcap grows by just over double. The above does not take into account high profile merchants or innovative development. Higher bitcoin price will also mean lower prices on both evaluations.

The coins success won't be based on the rewards or supply but what it offers consumers. What can I do with this coin is what matters to me in the long term. I am not contributing to the coin besides buying to use and to increase my future wealth.
I have to put my trust in the people doing the work for the coin are making the right decisions , if this decision motivates them then it can't do any harm as we dependant on them to keep adding value.

Welcome new people! For new visitors, repost: There is a very nice browser plugin now available. You can pay online very easy now everywhere where bitcoin and/or guldencoin is accepted! See the second part of the video below. (english subtitles) Just ordered online a calzone pizza with Guldencoin at dutch takeaway.com (Thuisbezorgd.nl) with Guldencoin browser add-on Nimble So easy now (You can do it also with this browserplugin worldwide where Guldencoin and/or Bitcoin is accepted) Add-on for Mozilla Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/nl/firefox/addon/nocks-nimble/Add-on for Google Chrome: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/nocks-nimble/kpgdkkdpfcgpfkooaejaogabppdmpple------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Nocks Nimble integrates Nocks into your browser. Nimble automatically recognizes Guldencoin and Bitcoin addresses so sending a payment is only a few clicks away. In this video below it is shown to you how to install the browser extension and in the second part there are two examples given on how you can use Nimble. Add-on for Mozilla Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/nl/firefox/addon/nocks-nimble/Add-on for Google Chrome: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/nocks-nimble/kpgdkkdpfcgpfkooaejaogabppdmpple------------------------------------------------------------------- I think we can use some promotion on bitcointalk on this very good development of Guldencoin. New wallet will be released soon and blockreward reduction from 1000 to 100 as well. The merchants that accept Guldencoin: https://guldencoin.com/pay-with-guldens. Again with Guldencoin you can pay also at online stores where bitcoin is accepted!

How much does a 500 mh miner cost? You mean to actually, physically, buy one? About 2-3000 dollars maybe? Then you need it to run with some PSU's of 1800-2000 Watt, give or take, not sure. So you need to buy one of those too. To rent it varies. So far this was the best deal I could find, but if I manage to buy cheaper I'll just extend the mining period with the money raised. No biggie.

What's the plan if it remains 50 packages taken? Cancel it or run half a month?

In my post it says I won't settle for less basically, but we could do 250MHs for 30 days or 500MHs for 15 days if that is ok with the people buying the packages. We'll see. Halfway through in just a few days, plenty of time left Looking to buy some myself as well too, waiting for some payments
