Just a update:
Rijk is busy with putting the finishing design touches to the QT wallet, Frank has purchased a cert for our exes which we will apply once the company has released it to us.
Malcolm is busy with finishing up the last remaining changes and alterations for the code base update.
Just to confirm we switching over rewards at block 250k which is close to 9500 more blocks to go and will hit before the 10th September.
Once the wallets are ready we will announce the release date.
Great work devs! Progress is vital for the health of guldencoin.

Just released by Buerra: Very nice community mining offer when "switching gears" will take place 1) Get your share of total mined coins. 2) Get your coins from the investment in this IPO. https://community.guldencoin.com/t/community-mining-ipo-switching-gears-session/1150(English in the second part of the link) Total packages to be sold: 100. Packages left: 86 (edit: 79 now...... 75..... 71......goes fast ) Just as with the IPO for the iOS wallet, hope this will be also such a succes! Maybe Rijk can make a nice promo eyecatcher for this? I will buy all remaining packages if the development team deliver next release by friday.55 packages left at the moment. 50 packages left at the moment. Halfway! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Very nice work you fella's been doing here..
Welcome Fransis Great work has been done indeed already. Dev team is not sitting still here. More to come. Do you have the browser plugin for Bitcoin and Guldencoin already? Guldencoin has a very good opportunity in the whole of Europe and I recommend expanding outside of the Netherlands. No other coin can represent Europe like guldencoin with what I have looked at.

Guldencoin has a very good opportunity in the whole of Europe and I recommend expanding outside of the Netherlands. No other coin can represent Europe like guldencoin with what I have looked at.
There is already quite the presence of NLG users throughout Europe. Users can expand there on their own terms. Nocks (nocks.nl) will have some cool tools for everyone, anywhere, to get NLG more integrated in society. Whether you are in Portugal or in Belgium, or in The Netherlands – or Bulgaria or Russia for that matter. Frictionless setup for Guldencoin, no technological know-how needed, but still the possibility to accept Bitcoin payments – making it a segway into the global market with a more localized market. Think globally, act locally. All you need is your Guldencoin wallet and a smartphone, tablet or laptop, you're good to go. No accounts or registration. 100% digital currency. So basically, you can start getting people informed about Guldencoin in your area today and create a small ecosystem which you can then cater for by expanding the ecosystem using simple to use tools. Guldencoin is, in my opinion, borderless, just like any other digital currency. But taking over a big chunk of NL's ecosystem is the main focus at the moment – doesn't mean that it is the main focus forever. See what you can do I know with Nocks we got the contacts at the border of Germany and some in Portugal. The question isn't, what are 'we' going to do, but what are you going to do?

I agree with you, although I think this is the right way of surviving the early stage of this coin. It needs a solid base, and I think indeed this can be find in the Netherlands. Looking at the online and offline merchants, you guy are already doing a great job. As soon as the coin is solid in the Netherlands, you can start looking more serious abroad .

The problem with that is that Dutch people don't pay much attention to local success – it's almost unwanted – so for it to flourish in NL, it needs to flourish outside NL.

I guess it's just a matter of time. I think that relates to the acceptation of the Bitcoin too. It just needs some time over here. It's a slow process, but I'm sure more and more online and offline merchants are going to accept Bitcoin. If the BTC becomes more famous over here, it much easier for a coin like Guldencoin to be succesfull here too.

If you look at Bitcoin like you would the dollar today, you can connect everything to it without being dependent of it. Then you have all the benefits of its global presence, while Guldencoin is accelerating, developing and aging in a more local area – meaning you can cater for more people with the freedom of choice. Which currency am I going to use and why? Without losing the ability to use that currency in this local area or 'outside' this area. Global tied to local – Bitcoin tied to Guldencoin – and vice versa. No borders and no limits.

You don't need the plugin (nocks.nl/nimble), you can also just go to nocks.nl Currently only for online use, but in the coming months we're also making our move towards the physical places – with our Nocks Native (iOS) app. So you can spend your Guldencoin anywhere where BTC is accepted basically, and vice versa of course. Welcome by the way!

I buy 50 package at 280 value ? Well, when the IPO started the market price was 305-ish. So, no, sorry 325 satoshi is the price per NLG. Which is still an amazing deal and you know it bro.
