Suggestion: ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Since the multi-algo idea was dropped and since you are still scrypt based. Why not just setup a way to merge mine Guldencoin with LTC & Doge. ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif)

You can always modify the reward rate to compensate for the additional blocks found. You could even modify your block time, consistent behavior in block creation is better than erratic formation times. Hey George,
Really happy to hear you investigating a permanent mining solution for guldencoin, please let us know if you have any questions and we will assist wherever possible. Good luck with the idea!
Cool George, looking forward to what your plan is!
Thanks guys, much appreciated. Like I said, I am a miner. I already have a working system in place that takes the temporary mining aspect out, and transforms it into a consistent way of mining. Upon re-thinking and re-calculating the numbers used in the current IPO and the idea behind it, it is possible to provide a consistent 100 MH to the network with a rough 1 BTC difference. So easy translated, 7.5 BTC can provide a consistent 100 MH of hashing power with no time limit on it. That's the easy part for me. With this, I run into a few 'probems'. The first, being the required initial needed investment to pull this off. I am not that "in-depth", yet, in the community to know if there would be enough support to make this work with the help of the premine for the first batch (see also my "secondly" next) as a promo. Secondly, in case of a positve potential, my mind tends towards building up a muliple of consistent mining. Not with the help of the premine, but stand-alones. Yet not to much, to leave some room for feature Guldencoin users, and also preventing to some extend that a lot of NLG would/could be directed to a few users with deep pockets. The picture I have in mind, is a maximum of 10x 100 MH lifetime IPO Guldencoin contracts. I could use some feedback is this is reasonable (the idea of a consistent 1 GH backbone hashing power). Thirdly, with consistent mining in mind, I could use some advice on the pools on which to direct the hasing towards. I always used hardcoreminers, but I do not know who the owner is or on what level it is tied with Guldencoin. I simply do not know if there are any pools, and which ones they would be, that are more directly tied to Guldencoin; for example, like http://digihash.co is with Digibyte. Fourthly, I could use some advice on possibilities in sharing NLG address accessibility or if processes could be automated in terms of payouts in relation to the amount of shares. For example, let's say we could indeed realize a 10x a 100 MH lifetime contract. I would be happy to take on the part to realize what is needed to provide these 10x 100 MH, but in relation to the 'contract takers' I do not know if I would feel comfortable with the control over persistent 1 GH of NLG mining towards the community. Or put it more simply, if I were to be hit by a truck, it would be nice that the persistent mining doesn't go down with me ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Furthermore, I would like to add the statement, if positive received, that I would make the consistent mining something like an "NLG exclusive", or something like that. With the help of it's community, a consistent backbone of hashing can be build for any coin. But I don't want to help the other coins, I want to help building the Guldencoin. There is some very good and dedicated enthousiasm in this community, and I believe in this coin. Dutchies to the moon... ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

Think he will be positively surprised and say so. No worries. Investeerder is about targets in planning being made. Good right to do so. Dev team has delivered, gives him more trust to invest. You can't blame me for not believing it can be done. Many coins make promises and never deliver, guldencoin last year was very slow at delivering. Criptoe team also said this update was not possible but if you remember I also won a bet with LTEX when I said /GeertJohan would not deliver in the time he said. This comes as a big shock to me and maybe just maybe guldencoin is moving on to become a top tier coin like we all hoped it would become. I will buy 10 packages if the team delivers the wallets today.

I will buy 10 packages if the team delivers the wallets today. I am generating/managing this release over the last two weeks 1000km away from home, on a poor internet connection, sitting in my nieces plastic kiddies chair (Because my mothers house doesn't have proper office furniture), while visiting my fiance who has just had a successful transplant (for which we have waited for 2 years) in between flights back and forth back home where I also need to try manage my house and business. A very happy but also very stressful time in my life. So you will forgive me if the whims of when some random person on the forum wants us to release has exactly 0 impact on our release schedule. We are releasing today because we happen to be ready today, no other reason. If you want to buy packages then that is of course great, go ahead, but don't think that such actions are going to place pressure on anybody to do anything faster. In terms of features I know things may not be moving as fast as some had hoped would happen since I joined, know that we are doing a lot of unglamorous behind the scene work first, getting things like automated builds working 100% etc. etc. to build a solid foundation to work on. In my experience trying to build features without such things is silly, any idiot can add a few flashy features, doing so in a maintainable professional manner that is not a nightmare going forward is an entirely different story, I only do the second kind of development.
