Daily Guldencoin volume charts - T E S T I N G No historical data so we start with a clean graph. Will show public one of these days... small preview - more will follow coming dayshttp://guldencoinweb.nl/trade-volume.php-- Graph will show 24 hour volume @ bittrex, litebit and bleutrade. Every day shows volume of that day, only last (current) day show last 24 hour till 0:00 Horizontal shows date and verticle Euro. Great stuff! I've been wanting a proper metric of this for ages, can't understand why places like coinmarketcap don't show volume over time, to me volume is a million times more important than the present price. Nice work Jero! FYI - coinmarketcap does track and display hourly 24 hour volume data in USD all the way back to coin creation. http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/guldencoin/#charts Don't know how accurate it is but better than nothing. Would be nice if coinmarketcap made that data available via some kind of xml/json interface.. or maybe it could somehow be extracted from the chart.. Hi Markanth, Data is at coinmarketcap indeed. Didn't know. Now we have two places ;-) I will have a look if I can extract the data from their website.

I have rented 340 MH over the next 24hrs and pointed it at hardcore miners where another 220MH exists. Just to see the effect of 500 MH over 24 hrs on one pool compared to when we switch over.
Nice comparison. Wonder how that works out

Nice comparison. Wonder how that works out Looks like it's heading for around 10-15% of the total blocks found after 24hrs.

very cool investigation. if you don't mind sharing, it would be interesting to know once complete: 1) btc cost of mining session 2) total NLG obtained from mining session. thanks

under 10 000 blocks and Potcoin moves from scrypt to POS.A lot of coins halving including litecoin and if the price does not increase I expect cheap miners to become available in September and October. This leads me to think that with the reward change will there be a lot of drop in hash rate on guldencoin when the scrypt coin list is in decline? Multi pools are running out of options. http://cryptocoinstats.com/supplytracker.php?s=tt

The 500 in total on the pool, yesterday the pool was running at around 560 and today around 430 MH, so other hash dropped off but it will average out to 500MH overall. It hasn't really had that much positive effect on total daily block count but it did have a positive effect on the amount that was discovered by hardcore miners which was to be expected. It would require around 1.5 - 2 GH/s constant hash on the network to increase block counts and to normalize the frequency of block intervals. I am 89% through the rental at this stage. After the reward change I expect 500 MH to have a large impact on block counts and intervals unless profit switching pools are running on desperation.

Multi pools are running out of options. http://cryptocoinstats.com/supplytracker.php?s=ttMy experience with the price of miners, at least with rentals, is that a bigger percentage of that is more under the influence regarding the price of the Bitcoin, and a lesser percentage under the influence of the Scrypt market. Though, it would always be nice off course, when prices of miners should be dropping a bit. There is an expectation to some degree, that there will be a drop in the hash for Guldencoin once the rewards change goes into effect. Non the less, the reward change could create a unique opportunity for both the community and long-term traders/collectors/bagholders, to build up dedicated mining capabilities. I already have such a system ready to make this work; endless dedicated hash capabilities, with endless mining revenues for those involved. If users would see the potential and be able to come together to kickstart this thing off, and then keep building up afterwards, the rewards (both in terms as what it would yield for it's participants, and how it would benefit to keep the blockchain going) from the total network hash could be shifting more towards the beneficial of Guldencoin and it's (dedicated) participants, and become lesser beneficial for jumping pools. Personally, I expect the hash to make a drop, but not that much. It would be nice if jumping pools would lay low for a while regarding Guldencoin, but eventually they will come back.

If I take the charts from http://guldencointrader.nl/hashrate.php , it averages above 2 Ghs. So shouldn't 500 MHs of that be accountable for roughly like around 20% of total blocks? Regarding the wishfull constant hash on the network, you know what I have in store for that. Should the community be able to come together to kickstart that one off, we could be well on it's way laying the first pillar in achieving that goal

It would be interesting to see what sort of package prices some of the scrypt manufacturers may be willing to offer directly.

That is a market price of 390 sat to break even, for a rental I wasn't expecting such good returns. The pool itself managed 44 blocks in 24 hrs , roughly 13.06%.

I mean to get into the same situation we have now with Multi pools the price would need to be around 2500 and it will be awhile before that happens. When it does, if we have 2 GH/s constant hash for the long term it will be really good. It will force miners who want NLG to mine directly on our community pools and everyone wins.

The is one I can think of who is, thus far, legit where you can purchase Scrypt packages and are able to direct that hash towards outside pools: minsty.co Best price/quality they are offering for Scrypt, is $999 for 100 MHs for 6 months. I have been using their service as well, but I was not very fond of it. Pointing their hash towards their own pools produced stable results, but when I pointed them outwards, the hash became quite unstable, it sometimes even dropped to 0.
