It’s the fact that you don’t judge a team so early when the season just started and secondly not all marquee signings are going to be a success or rather having a super team of good players doesn’t guarantees success. I could remember this same PSG you’re using to compare had a Messi, Neymar and Mbappe combination and still they couldn’t win the champions league. Everyone thought that Liverpool after spending close to €500m will actually be looking invincible but that’s not the story as of now but does that actually mean that it’s not gonna get better? The truth is Liverpool aren't as formidable as most of us initially thought they were. They were struggling to win games at the start of the season and were relying on late goals to win until Crystal Palace defeated them and made opened up their tactical flaws for the world to see while Galatasaray saw it and capitalized on it, Chelsea seeing what happened believed they can as well defeat them and went on to do so.
