I don't see Alonso significantly improving the squad, he's strengthened the defense compared to Ancelotti, but that's not enough yet, as they're still conceding a lot against strong opponents. Carvajal and Militao have also returned, but they haven't been able to fully sustain a full match yet, and the defenders who joined the team haven't adapted quickly either. Alexander-Arnold is also spending a lot of time on the bench due to injuries. So I don't see any major changes at Real Madrid compared to Ancelotti, and I doubt there are any coaches who are better at this job than him.

There's nothing special that Flickr has done in Barcelona that Xavi didn't do. Xavi won Laliga during his tenure and also brought in Yamal to the senior team. I will draw my conclusions that Flick is better than Xavi if he can win Laliga again this season and later in future win UCL. If Flick can't defens the title, he's similar to Xavi.

Not sure if Real Madrid will remain strong even if they lose more than 4 key players, if it's only 2 it might not be a problem but 4-5 players is like half of the 11 main players and I'm sure it will greatly affect Real Madrid's performance, any top club will falter if they lose many key players even though we know Real Madrid is a pretty solid team and has many titles but they still rely on several mainstay players to remain successful in every match.

Injuries are a normal thing in football but the manager has to plan ahead and keep good players on the bench so that if an important player gets injured the club gets good performance from the bench players as a replacement.

Injuries cannot be blamed for Barcelona's defeat because when Barcelona lost against PSG, several players from the PSG team were not in the team because they had injury problems but still PSG did well against Barcelona and secured the victory. Barcelona is a much stronger team compared to Sevilla so even if Barcelona had several players injured Barcelona should have won against Sevilla but they lost there too. Last season Barcelona maintained their good performance in La Liga but their good performance was not in the Champions League because they lost to Inter Milan and were eliminated from the Champions League. 

It will be difficult for Barcelona to do as well in the Champions League this season as they did last season.
