UEFA Champions League 2025/26 Season

I’m not sure we can say for now who will win the champions league, until the group stages are over and maybe a round of the knockout stages then we can see clubs with the potential to go far and get it. Last season Liverpool was on a roll topping the league and we saw them now out to PSG who became eventual winners, and this PSG side struggled at the club stages it was by a thread they survived, that last game against Manchester City was their turning point and from there it was glorious for them. So we can all have our favourite teams now but can never guess or predict the winner just by their performances now at the group stages until the end.

That's right, we're still in the League Phase, and many surprises could occur. The favorites could be eliminated early, and underdogs could go further, we've seen this all too often. Liverpool run last season is a particularly relevant example, and it's not impossible that we'll see a new Champions League champion this season.
At first glance, PSG, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich all seem worthy of consideration as favorites this season, but as you said, we'll probably have to wait to see how they progress through the League Phase before concluding who's the more worthy favorite.

The difficulty of each side playing in the Champions League is the crammed fixture list, o each club must be able to divide its focus well and maintain the performance and fitness of its players. Any team would be terrified of a long list of casualties with such a tight schedule.

As of now, concentration has been shifted and consistency has been kept by Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, PSG, and Arsenal from various leagues. They are unbeaten in their last two Champions League matches and top the standings in their respective domestic leagues. Still, whether these teams will manage to maintain this kind of division of focus and level of consistency in the weeks to come is yet to be seen.?

Xabi Alonso took a team that is rebuilding, from Kroos-Modric-Carvajal-Benzema etc etc, to a team with Mbappe-Arda-Bellingham-Trent and so forth. I still believe Xabi can archive something with this group this season even if it going to be the kings cup. We have seen Alonso archive something with with leverkusen on his first season so to do that with the quality at Real Madrid should also be possible.

I still agree that Real Madrid are rebuilding, and the process still continues, because I still expect them to make a couples signing This coming winter break and even next season. So far I believe in What Xabi is trying to build but as always every project needs time.

You call it luck simply because no one expected them to play that good. What you say makes sense, because no team in the Champions League should be underestimated, especially if they're considered weak and lacking the luck to win. After all, no one knows when luck will strike, and generally, every team that has qualified for the Champions League is better prepared to face all its opponents. So, what we need to wait and see is how far Chelsea and PSG will go in this season's Champions League, as both have unique abilities when facing their opponents.

This is why we should not make predictions according to whatever the odds says. They have also underestimated clubs with this tool but those who pay attention to form and how they played their last few games will never fall for that trust me. Yeah, it wasn't easy for them to lose that early when they were that good, they of course hated that fact but as long as they keep trying, I am sure that they will do fine, they do not need much of it being that big of a deal. I think the best way to approach this would be making sure that they are handling it as well as they possibly could, should not be an issue.

I think the biggest trouble would be Liverpool repeating something like that, because they spent 500 million on the summer to be able to not have the same results, they should be bale to get a lot further. I know these last 3 games shown them weak, but that was temporary and this team will get to play a lot better in the future and won't repeat these bad games.

I am not sure if there are weak teams playing in the UEFA champions League,I have this impression that any team that qualify to the UEFA is strong because, only the best competitive teams for that season are allowed to qualify to play in the UEFA champions League.

Since they've played against Marseille and Cairo in the Champions League so far, we haven't seen any real realities yet. Therefore, we'll need to look at the big matches ahead of them to determine Real Madrid's current standing in the Champions League. You know that different people will cry differently simply because the team they thought were going to win it didn't. And it reminds me of the period when Real Madrid was winning the champions league against all odds and some persons were just shouting luck luck luck every time. Even though I wasn't in support of Chelsea in the CWC, I still wouldn't deny the fact that they won it at the back of hard work and not luck.

In terms of Chelsea winning the club world cup it was not luck how can someone say that winning PSG with three goals is lock if it was one go I would have agreed that it was locked that Chelsea used to win PSG in the club world cup but since it was even more than two goals it can never be luck it was hard work from Chelsea they were prepared for that match and that was why they won the match.

I wonder if this new merge with super league thing will happen. It just feels like it's a bit more fair to bigger clubs, who are the attractions of these competitions anyway. Nobody watches UCL so that they can see Pafos or Kata whatever that other terrible team is, not even watching it for teams like Ajax or anything, they are watching it for Liverpool, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Inter, Arsenal, PSG, Bayern Munich and so forth.

Those are the ones who win all the time, we get to see big clubs win it all the time. So it's only fair that they are compensated better, and we should probably see even more games, which would put pressure on leagues, but 18 teams is more than enough for all the leagues, meaning only 34 games, so you can squeeze in a bit more games for UCL, which gets more money.

Lolz first Chelsea was very much lucky to have won the FIFA club world cup because right from the beginning of the competition they didn't face any tough team it was all weak teams and reaching the finals you and I knew too well that Paris saints German was going to win that game but it's quite unfortunate they ran out of luck and Chelsea won the game, and talking about Chelsea fighting for a spot in the UEFA Champions League I doubt because whom can they fight in that group, you seems to have forgotten that Chelsea is not in good form this season so instead of boosting you should pray for things to move right with them.

Chelsea is really a team that continues to strengthen as the season goes by with the young players they have. this team is increasingly not to be underestimated because the young players they have also continue to improve in experience and performance.

In the next match against Ajax, I even have high hopes for Chelsea. It's just that one weakness of this team is that sometimes this team seems to lose sharpness in attack. But at their best this team can have more sharpness than expected for their attacking line. Enzo Maresca can also be said to be quite successful in bringing improvement to this team by utilizing the players well.

There was no luck involved in that game — Chelsea were the only team playing football from start to finish. Palmer turned into prime CR7; he was simply flawless. When you have a player explode like that in a final, nothing can stop you from winning the UCL. I don’t even like Chelsea, but they definitely deserved to lift the trophy that night.

Chelsea were determined in lifting and adding the club world cup trophy to their list of achievements and nothing of luck, someone that won PSG by 3 goals, PSG that were disgracing and humiliating different teams with 5:0 but they couldn't score even a goal in their final with Chelsea, even if luck were on Chelsea side and they managed to reach the final game. that luck wouldn't have worked with PSG, because it was obvious that PSG was super in form after their champions league triumphant victory.

Yes determination was the pushing force behind Chelsea’s success in the club world cup however luck was also played a part in the journey to world cup success. I give accolades to them, with the way they performed in the club world cup they deserved to win.

Real Madrid is not Rebuilding, they are alright even without the players that left the team. Apart from the fact that Real Madrid couldn't win a trophy last season but they weren't backward. The core players that left the team were very much productive but Real Madrid also have great replacement that helped them maintain a good performance and they will do greater than last season since they have already won their first 2 games in the UCL, it means that they are in for something spectacular.

Real Madrid have new players that joined the team alongside a new coach Xabi Alonso, though they will meet some challenging times but they will adapt as they play more matches. Xabi Alonso is a nice coach, he will make sure he keeps the team in a good standard.
