Yes you are correct some set of people usually support their club even when their club is not strong or inform in that season they still say their club is the strongest or almost informed I usually don't like fans that judge that way they are not sincere and they cannot give football good prediction, for me whenever my club is doing well I will say it and when they are not doing well I will also say it, this act of not saying the actual truth of a club by fans is something that is very rampant just like you said.

Can you tell that to Chelsea fans that PSG is better than them,I bet the arguments wouldn't end. Fans can believe what they want but the end will always justify the best team.

If I am a fan of Manchester united I can not really make noise or boast about it because I know they are not good and they have shown it to the world. The case of Barcelona and PSG I don't see anything wrong if a Barcelona fan said they are greater or better than PSG or if a PSG fan said they are greater than Barcelona because both team are strong and they have been doing absolutely great both in their domestic league and outside...and again the fact that Barcelona lose to PSG doesn't necessarily mean they are better than Barcelona remember this are sometimes luck and I won't be surprise to see Barcelona beat them back with a good goal margin.
