Real Madrid is throwing away a lot of good chances, and I think they are too reliant on Mbappe, and this is not a good thing because when Mbappe cannot play, Real Madrid will lose their clinical touch. I know firing him this early would look bad, but keeping him looks even worse by the day, last season wasn't a great one for them neither and keeping Xabi or firing him will not change much and they will probably not be great this season neither by the looks of it, but if they do fire him at least they would have a chance to hire someone better and switch the season around.

I was one of the football fan calling for xabi Alonso to be given more time to work on his team, but with what I saw last night from him, my sentiment about him has changed entirely, because I discovered that he is not good enough to manage a top team like real Madrid, because under small pressure, he started making stupid decisions, that shows that the real madrid job is bigger than him.
Which competent manager will drop his best player on the bench and be doing an experiment with his team in the biggest game of the season?
That shows that he can't handle pressure, and as such, he should be replaced with a more experience and competent manager that can lead the team to glory, that's my own honest opinion about him.

I wouldn't really call it a "stupid decisions" situation but more like he just didn't know what to do, he looked like he is a brand new manager and never managed a team before whereas we know that he went nearly a full season without a single loss with a team like Leverkusen (except the last game against Atalanta). So the question to be asked here is that if he did something like that which is tangible and we can see, then why does he suck so much with Real Madrid and look so out of his depth?

Real Madrid performance is very poor this season, but the main problem of this Club is Xabi Alonso because to me he's not utilizing the players effectively. If you check Real Madrid positions from defensive line, midfield and attacking line, you can see that they have the best squad and they are also one of the strongest team just as you said.

Real Madrid performance against Manchester City yesterday was impressive. Assuming Kylian Mbappe is fit to play I don't think it would be easy for Manchester City because Real Madrid created a lot of chances and both Rodrigo and Vinicius were penetrating City defense. I was also one of the people who were strongly bantering Manchester City fans around me, telling them that they're going to get thrashed by Real Madrid, I even had to stake on it but disappointingly, the Spanish club couldn't stop their visitors from taking all three points from the game yesterday. Real Madrid did press well in the first 20 minutes of the game before they deservedly took the lead. I expected them to continue but they allowed Manchester City to come back to the game and boss it. Despite the result, I think Real Madrid would've had a better game and result yesterday if their injured star man Kylian Mbappe was fully fit and started the game.

I won’t say that it is crystal clear that Real Madrid are not good, they were playing against a big team, so such results should be expected and shouldn’t be a surprise. If Manchester City have lost the match yesterday, we would have said the same for Manchester City and actually say that they’re a poor team and need to work on their game after losing to Real Madrid. I feel how a team plays in the field tells their condition best, it doesn’t matter if they win or lose the match, but from their coordination of the game, one can easily tell if they’re in good form or not.

Real Madrid’s defense is lacking a lot and they need to work on that. A good team with good attackers cannot farewell without good defenders. There needs to be a synergy between them that boost their morale both in the field. As attackers are converting chances to goals, so will defenders be avoiding another conversion of goal from their opponent. Together that can make the team strong not worth of being defeated.

Losing is part of the game, it is nothing new, and besides the loss wasn't to a smaller club, it was against another big club Manchester City, there is nothing disgraceful concerning the match result, both teams played like they wanted to win, quite unfortunate that just one came out leading the other.

Real Madrid are not out of the top 8,  with 2 games left, if they win both games, they would get the same privilege as anyone among the first 8. At the end, finishing at the top of the league phase doesn't make things look better for winning the Champions League. Liverpool did so, but it didn't secure them the title.

I don't think the results of either match were surprising. Real Madrid losing to Manchester City is perfectly natural, something that could happen every season. We can't call that a surprise. PSG drawing away from home is also a normal situation. They don't have to win every game after all, we're still in the league stage. If this had been a single-elimination match, I'm sure PSG would have played with more focus and would have won if they had to. But in an 8-game league system, a draw in Spain is not a bad result. I'm sure PSG will play much better after the round of last 16.

I'm also curious to know from what perspective you judge Real Madrid to be so bad that their manager should be sanctioned, which is generally unimaginable. If you look at Real Madrid's position in the domestic league, they're still runners-up, even though they're four points behind the current leaders. And if you look at Real Madrid's position in the Champions League, they're still in the zone that automatically qualifies for the next round without having to compete in the qualifying rounds. So, I'm starting to ask, from what perspective do you judge Real Madrid's badness? Because if you just judge Real Madrid's two or three recent defeats, you immediately judge them as bad, that's really odd, because there are many other teams with more defeats than Real Madrid.

Carlo Ancelloti is more far better than Xabi Alonso because I don't see any sign from Xabi Alonso that he's capable of leading this team to any success. I don't think this team will be patient with him because Real Madrid is well known as a team obsessed with winning trophies.  Their plan is to sack him if he lose to Manchester City and he lost, but they have given him another chance again to prove himself against Alaves in their next La Liga Match which if he lose the match he's going to be sacked.

Vinicius tried in the first half, but he didn't perform like Rodrigo in my opinion. I don't know why Xabi Alonso doesn't like to start Rodrigo in the starting eleven because I always think that with Rodrigo, Vinicius, and Mbappe, Real Madrid will achieve great results. Another problem Xabi Alonso should fix is midfield because there's weakness in that midfield.

Pep Guardiola is known to be a serial winner but last season, he had his worst campaign as a first team manager. There are reports that he was ready to part ways with Manchester City but couldn't leave in a season they failed to win the a major trophy and that's probably the main reason he's been doing all his best to redeem himself this campaign. Just like you rightly said, Manchester City aren't even at their best at the moment but they've been getting good results. I think the other top teams in Europe especially England should be worried about on how to stop them from reaching their peak. If City succeeds to win a major trophy this season, Pep Guardiola might be leaving the club.

With Pep Guardiola and his formidable squad, Manchester City are capable of winning any games without stress. This is what we love to see and talk about because a team like Manchester City can win games comfortably.
