For me I think the whole next phase will be the main deal as many clubs will up their competitiveness and even the ones that we feel are having 100% performance will then now drift apart when the competition gets tough and some teams I know like Barcelona are well prepared for the big occasion and will definitely hold out against some of the big boys in the competition so I think with time coming it's all gonna click more and flick will restrategize and make his team stronger.

My issue with Maresca is how he set up the team, for some reason they were finding it very very difficult to transition from the back, and that's where the midfield issue comes in. They were always forced to play long balls to Jao Pedro or the wings and their wingers were not that good, Jao doesn't like those fast reflexes, so there were no deliveries to the box either.

Besides Maresca's blunders, it's the players' attitude that's killing the team spirit. They have absolutely no desire to kill the game off, even when they're behind. They just keep managing the game with sterile possession and no direct play. During stoppage time, I felt like Chelsea were leading 3-1. Nobody was even venturing forward, it's truly unbelievable!
Their build up is horribly slow. There were moments in the game where Sanchez was looking for a midfielder to give the ball and they were all far, it looked like James was uncomfortable coming to receive the ball.
Overall the midfield was poor; Cucurella's performance was horrible, Enzo Fernandez was bad and Enzo has a lot to work on.

Before Xabi Alonso agreed to become Real Madrid's head coach, he know that if he didn't do well at Real Madrid he would be sacked, so I don't blame how Real Madrid board is treating Xabi Alonso.

Everything lays in Xabi's hands, he's the manager of the club and have to ensure that he train the players enough to be successful on the fields, if they can't then he owes the board management and fans some explanations, well I'm quite hopeful that their current ruins won't last forever since most of the players are in a positive relationship with Xabi Alonso.

 I feel the board might also ease their pressure if things starts getting better, but I don't really blame Xabi Alonso, he's doing what he knows best but he's just so unfortunate to be in the club at this point when most of the players, defenders in particular are prone to fatigue thereby making that position weak and imbalanced, poor midfield creativity and drama in the attacking line (Vini Jnr).

Matchday 7 and 8 are like a month away from us.    I really hate long breaks like this in the biggest tournaments. A month is just too much during league phase.

When it comes to the CL so far Arsenal have been the most impressive team obviously. But league phase performance isn't enough criteria to be confident about the title run. We will see if they will manage to go beyond the semi finals this time first.

I respect your opinion but what would you talk about the likes of Arsenal, PSG or Bayern Munich, don't you think they can cause problems for Manchester City too? Remember that those clubs I mentioned are doing better than Manchester City in that tournament, especially Arsenal that's not lost any game in that tournament. Since they where visited with series of injuries in there defense line when all there attention will be centered in improving there , they have been experiencing some difficulty which has significantly reduced  there dominating strength because of lack of quality in there defense line.

They started the season on a poor note and were inconsistent but they've improved now. Like Manchester City have been on a winning streak and looking at the team, it seems like they've gotten back to their best. Guardiola is the coach of the team and he knows how to win trophies he truly desires for. The team is back to their best and stopping them now I don't think will be possible. I hope that at the end of the day, Manchester City will be able to win a major trophy this season. The ability to be a tough one on other teams is a skill Manchester City has mastered so well in the champions league and moreover they have the experience and one of the records for winning the champions league many times but recently they have not been able to sustain this kind of form for the longest and to the point of been able to pushing it to the finals as the case maybe, I hope they look beyond been tough on other teams alone this season and try to achieve the height of winning the title.

All the team has there flaws, the fact they are winning currently doesn't mean they are fully inform because they can still lose guard. I was seeing PSG as a team that will press so hard to still win the champions league again this season but right now they are even struggling to win small team in their domestic league and the way they are playing this season I don't totally believe or think they will win their league this season because there performance has reduced drastically and it is really affecting them and as for the champions they are not even close to contending.

I think we will see a better performance from barcelona in the knockout phase. Barcelona started the season very badly. Many players in the squad were injured. Hansi flick had a hard time building his starting XI. Very important players like yamal , raphinha , lewa, olmo and gavi faced injuries at the same time. Most of the players  are back in the squad. As a result, barcelona's performance is now very strong compared to before. Again, if Barcelona does not face injury problems , then we will see their stronger performance in the knockout round of the Champions League.

Bad news for what? Is not it normal considering match 7 and 8 being placed at the early next year due to the christmass and new year? The players need to take holiday after they have always been milked by busy schedule. So we can see their best version during the matchday 7 & 8 next year.

As for Arsenal, they have been so amazing but their first placement in the qualifier place will not determine his chance to win the trophy. Knock out phase is much more important than this. I've seen many team being favored to win UCL, but failed when it comes to the knock out phase.
So, you can hope them to have stable performance, otherwise, they will go home.

The reason why many people do not see PSG great performance is because of the high expectations they have for them. This makes many people fail to recognize their performances, but I will say that PSG are really doing well. In their domestic league, they are struggling to win against some teams, but that is applicable to almost everything in football. The Champions League and the domestic league are always different. It is always hard to see small teams beating big teams in the Champions League, but this happens more often in domestic leagues. So now, nobody can say whether PSG will be able to win the Champions League or not. Even last season, their performance was not recognized from the beginning, but they ended up winning it.
